BAXTER Chrysler Jeep Dodge Review

I just leased my 5th Jeep from Baxter s. Charlie Genovesi took great care of me.He was very through in explaining the new features.

This is the worst place and experience , i have ever been experienced with any car dealer. My experience goes like this- They agreed to sell the car and worked on the numbers and when went to car to pickup they said car was not available and they lied that car was sold to another dealer. A week later my friend went to check for another car and he find out the car is still aviable and they offered an to sell for an higher price. Management and sales persons played chep tricks and tried to just rip off customers.

Base on my personal experience from 2 weeks ago not recommend at all. I went to there and tried a used 2016 Honda Civic with an salesman called Jen On 17th November. I also want to trade in my car, so I gave my key to him and make an estimation. Because I left in a hurry, I left my phone number and email address to Jen. We even not talked about the price on Saturday. Nobody call me back, nobody contact me!!! So I called Store and talk to Jen on 21st November to ask about my trade in price. He asked if I still interested in the car, I said yes. And I said I also want to trade in my old car and ask for estimation. He said ok, he would ask manager or something and gave me a number. And he never call me back, never, ever .
It s not end yet. On 21st I received a text after the call. It said Bill, the 2016 Honda Civic not in the stock, been sold out on weekend. I was so surprised . No sorry, no call, not ask if I would like to try another car or not. Just a text. If you sold the car on 17th, why you still ask me if I am interested about that cat?
I felt angry but understandable, maybe they just forgot update the information, maybe they just too busy, maybe they have too many cars, maybe that s why they never call me back. I gave up on this car.
So far not bad, right? But not end yet!!!!!! On 27th November, Mercedes-Benz of Omaha called me said they have a car I may interest. Guess what, that Honda Civic !!!!! . I told Mercedes I tried the car, they texted me said it been sold out. But after checking, Mercedes said it still in stock, they can bring the car to Mercedes the other day.
From the beginning till today, I didn t receive any call from Jen, Nobody explain anything to me. I don t know what happened, they promised call you back but they never!!!!! They still have the car but told you been sold through text!!!!!!
I don t know why you guys treated me like this, because I don t look like a potential customer? You guys treated Chinese girl different? I feel super uncomfortable and angry. I may be ignored here too. Because Baxter Chrysler dodge Jeep ram Omaha never care about their customers.

Went to dealer to possibly buy new car. My friend and I spend around 30 minutes looking at different cars right next to the main door and no one help us or attend us not even when three salesman saw us and kept walking. We spend more time walking the whole loot under the sun and still there was no help. I decided to leave and not waist more of my time and spend my $15k somewhere else.

I hate buying cars. I hate the whole process. The only thing that made it somewhat manageable was working with Cedric. If you have to go through this process, ask for Cedric.

Leased a Jeep the other day with Michael Williams. Michael was very courteous, professional and respectful. His down to earth nature made the experience pleasant. Will recommend Michael to others.

I called three different , local jeep dealerships about a specific jeep. One wouldn't return my calls. Another one just said that the deal I wanted did not exist. But Baxter got me the jeep I wanted and gave me the deal that supposedly did not exist. I will be back for more vehicles in the future. Dave Wennekamp, the manager made the sales process simple and painless. Matt Fuller, my salesman personally delivered my new jeep to me at my job and explained the vehicle to me inside and out. 5 Stars. Because you guys deserve it.

I just had a fantastic experience at Baxter Chrystler in Omaha. Matt helped me transition out of my lease into purchasing our new vehicle, Hansel was so helpful in negotiating a package that worked for our finances, and Tyler swooped in and saved the deal. They are professional strait forward on explaining financial expectations of your vechile needs. Salesman follows through with all aspects of purchase whether it would be senseable or something not good. I was planning to purchase an Audi Q5 Premium Plus and I was in my way to Volvo to evaluate the XC40 as well. I saw Baxter and called them. They insisted to drop in. I had no plans to buy the new car from them at all. Grand Cherokee was too big for me and Compass is not an option. I never liked Cherokee but 2019 version had a fresh look and I was interested in purchasing the top variant - Overland.

Gary who is the sales executive there, walked me through the features and he was really helping me out by understanding my need and suggesting what the option he has.

I had some issues with Finance and Title department which left me a little frustrated, but it was handled well by Kennan (General Manager). With certain hiccups I am back to normal with Baxter and I love my car.

If you are looking for safety and performance and midsize SUV, look no further. Jeep Cherokee is your friend.

If I had time to type out my entire experience with Baxter, I would say that it was below average customer service. The follow-up and follow-through was terrible from the people that we ended up
having to work with. However, I would like to take the time to point out someone that REALLY stood out to me and is the ONLY reason we came back to Baxter to purchase our vehicle. Gene Bell. This guy is an honest, down-to-earth guy and he does not give off the "car salesman" vibe what-so-ever. He wasn't even our salesman but still took care of us like a number one priority, knowing he would not get credit for the sale (since we had originally started with someone else). If you walk into Baxter and want to talk to someone who is going to make you feel like you're not a dollar sign, ask for Gene! I have been passing out his business cards left and right!

We came to "just look" but Jose is a pretty persuasive guy! Jose was a super friendly, knowledgeable salesperson. Very happy with our experience!

This review is for recent service on my 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon on 4/30/18, with a follow-up visit on 5/2/18.

I made the original appointment because of a leak coming from the driver's side of my front differential. I also wanted them to identify a noise (that sounds like the fan is sitting in water) when the Jeep is started with the vent fan on. I also needed an oil change. I dropped the Jeep off with no issues and went to work.

About 3 hours later, Lupe called to tell me that they determined that my front axle pinion seal was the source of the leak. I didn't see any leakage around the pinion seal when I was trying to find the leak, but I figured they are the experts and I just need to get the leak taken care of. He said it would be $371. I told him to do it. He also let me know that the blower motor needs to be replaced ($415), as does my oil pan gasket ($431), my air filter ($38), and they recommended that my transmission fluid be replaced ($216). I can take care of all of these things myself, so I declined. I questioned the oil pan gasket leak - I've not noticed any leakage around the oil pan or any drips when I park. Except for the leak dripping off of my differential/axle.

I picked the Jeep up on my lunch hour and drove it to work (a half mile away). When I went to leave work a few hours later, I noticed two small drip puddles under the Jeep - the same one from the differential/axle, and a new one under my oil pan. I drove home (4.5 miles away). I parked in my driveway, took all of my stuff inside, came back out to inspect, and there were two new puddles in my driveway. The oil that was dripping from the oil pan looked like it was just old oil that didn't get wiped off when they changed my oil, so I wiped it down as best I could. But it was totally obvious that the leak on my differential was still leaking like before.

I called the Service Department on 5/1/18 and explained the situation - they set me up with an appointment the following morning. I dropped it off again and went to work. Lupe called me a few hours later and said that the leak appeared to be coming from the axle tube where it meets the differential. He said the only way to fix it was to replace the entire axle assembly. I said "So, you charge me $400 to replace a front pinion seal that wasn't leaking." He said, "No. The pinion seal was leaking, but this is a different leak." He told me he would have my Jeep on a lift when I came so I could look for myself. I came at 4 PM, and we went under my Jeep. They must have cleaned around the pinion seal very well, because there wasn't any evidence that there had been a leak. You could still see the leak next to the differential, but couldn't tell where it was coming from.

Fast forward two weeks. I was able to take it to another mechanic. He crawled under, had me crank the steering wheel, and said "This might be your problem - when I touched the differential vent tube, it just fell out." He cleaned the area with a can of brake cleaner, put some gasket sealer on the end of the vent tube, and reinserted it. I went and drove it for about three miles and returned. No more leak. He checked the differential level - it was low, so he filled it. I drove it home (about 10 miles from their shop). No leak. I drove it again after I got home. No more leak. They didn't even charge me for the inspection, the 15 minutes he took to fix it, or the quart of differential oil they used.

If I can help it, I will never take my Jeep back to Baxter for service.

My paperwork says that Certified Technician #2999 did the work both times I brought it in.

Recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler from Baxter and a no problem transaction. My salesman, Mark Edwards got me an excellent price and found the exact model that I was looking for. My wife and I went up to Baxter to look at a Honda Pilot we seen online. When we pulled up and walked to the door Loyal Beecher aka Jr. greeted us at the door. He was very friendly and asked us if he can be of service. We told him what we were looking for and he knew right away which vehicle we wanted to look at. He sat us down and got to know us and ask what we were comfortable paying each month. Loyal was very knowledgeable and answer every question we had for him. Needless to say we end up buying the Pilot and got some sweet upgrades to the vehicle. Sandee Asher the Aftermarket manager was very nice and helpful too. I can't remember the finance guy it started with a J I think but he was great too. I'm definitely going to recommend Loyal and the Baxter team to my family and friends thanks again for making my wife and me first major car purchase experience a success.

Pricing was exceptionally competitive. Staff was competent and respectful. Process was quick and painless. Was not met at the airport but had to Uber instead. My Jaguar is superb.

I had a terrible experience at Baxter dodge Omaha I saw a Volkswagen Jetta on there website so I went in to try and buy it after looking at it and test driving it and had there team value my trade in and they would not tell me the value of my car. After giving them all of my information the salesman comes back to say he can't sell me the car from that location and I would have to go out to mead Nebraska to a daalership called raider nation if I wanted to work out a deal with them for the car. I go out there to find out it was a financing place and they told him I was purchasing the car from him after they sold it to him for a lower price and he would give it to me above blue book value so conviently enough I wasted my time checking out and testing driving this car with Baxter it was all a big scam. I look on Craigslist today for a different Volkswagen and come to find out Baxter raised there price on the vehicle and had it posted as there own again the next day. Baxter is by far the worst place to buy a car from in my recent experience I bought my first new car from Woodhouse and it was a way better experience there motto is well treat you like family and that's what they did to bad they didn't have a Volkswagen I wanted otherwise they would have had my business never go to Baxter it's all a huge scam whose motto should be well use you like fake friends. I will never recommend anyone to go there and I will never be back myself.

I had the worst experience at Baxter in Omaha. I talk to the sales manager Rick and he said the vehicle I was looking at had a 5.7 hemi V-8 engine with 80,000 miles. I drove an hour and a half to go look at the vehicle only to find out that it had a 4.7 engine with 84,000. Rick s boss Eric Peterson asked if he gave me a warranty for two years would I be interested in the vehicle. I said no it doesn t have the engine in it that I want and I was lied to. He said he was sorry and walked away without even offering to pay for my gas for the 3 hour round trip. I talked to a salesman named Tristin after Eric walked away and he did put gas in my vehicle. Not a very good way to run a business.

Went in to get a lease but it just didn't work out. Joe Pane then fit me into a 2011 Chrysler 200 convertible for approx. same payments I had on my other used car. I was in and out of there in a little over an hour with very little haggling. Im a pain when it comes to buying a car and Joe made it easy! Thanks Joe and GO BLACKHAWKS!!

I saw a 2005 Camry on Craigslist at a price I could afford, high miles but in great condition, set an appointment for the following morning with Jake..started the car , test drive was on my way home within the hour, Earl was also great to work with. My goal was to get in and get out, I got there and these two Fellow Americans got me out.

Leased A 2019 Cherokee limited recently. Michael Cross was always polite and made the deal a hassle, stress free experience. All questions were answered. Noah, in finance, answered all questions.
