Simple, classic, great food. Fried whole chicken is juicy, flavourful, and properly cooked.

This is a "Gotta Go" place! Best bbq we had in N. Carolina.

Good barbeque. The pulled pork sandwich was a little dry for my taste, but plenty of sauce options were available to remedy that. The brisket was top notch excellent.

Great BBQ , Larry's sauce is a little sweat and tangy, North Carolina sauce is vinegary, love the coleslaw, covered outside picnic tables for large groups

Great food recommend it when coming off the beach, food is inexpensive, great variety of choices, doesn't take long to come out, great outdoor seating, it's right next to a gas station. In all a great place to go.

Had a pork bbq sandwich and it was very good. Got some pork beans & fries to go with it & they were also good. Reasonably priced.

We stopped for a pound of bbq to go. Test tasted it first. It's delicious!

Oink! Great little spot by the side of the road. Super tasty, super friendly, and super fast service. We were heading to the outer banks for a nice little getaway and this place was a delicious find. I cannot honestly say whether I liked the main dish BBQ better or the sides that they offered. The food was tasty, fresh and hot and the beer was nice and cold. Do I need to say any more? Don't overthink this one folks, just stop in and enjoy!!

Currituck BBQ catered our wedding this weekend. The food was phenomenal and the service was just as great! Friendly staff was easy to work with and clearly having a good time with our guests. They packed up all of our leftovers and they were just as good the next day. One of our guests went to culinary school in Switzerland and commented on how good the food was! Thanks for making our wedding special!

I will never eat there again. I called to make a to go order and asked the girl how much a pound of barbecue was. This girl told me I needed to go online and check there prices because, " she didn't have time to read me the menu." Very poor customer service. Very disappointed.

Amazing BBQ joint. This place has been my staple go-to for the last 10 years when I drive down to Outer banks.

Yummmmmmy! Great smokey flavor. Kids and I got pulled pork sandwich platters. The potato salad is mild in flavor with celery seed. The mac n cheese was well received by my son. My daughter and I could have eaten a pound of the sweet potato casserole by ourselves!
My husband had pulled pork and brisket with green beans. His only negative comment was that they should not call the beef "brisket" that because it is pulled beef and a lot of people would be upset at having brisket treated that way. The green beans were perfectly seasoned and the hush puppies, divine!
The outside eating area was spacious and VERY clean. So nice to stop somewhere with the dog and not have to have someone eat alone outside.

Amazing food with good prices for the size. We all got different items and they were all great. Very old place, but historical. Definitely has a history. We stop here everytime we go to the outer banks.

I always stop and eat here when I'm passing through. I've never had anything bad here and it's all perfectly cooked. Their sauces are great too. The staff is always friendly to top off the overall experience.

Well, we thought it was ok. We came because it is the only restaurant in the area that has burnt ends. Drive 45 minutes from Duck, and hoped for more.

I had the burnt ends platter. Plentiful amount of meat, well smoked and flavorful. Fried okra was frozen bulk style and a little over cooked. The coleslaw was also bulk purchased and not intetesting.

Everything served on paper plates or wrapped in paper, functional. Atmosphere lends itself to grab and go rather than sitting and dining. Employees were also a little un disciplined and loud.

Not sure if we would return if back in the area

I have had better brisket before. I wasn't bad just not great.

Yum, yum and yum! I tried to eat a jumbo bbq sandwich, but I almost hurt myself - it's huge! My daughter loves the fried okra and the mac and cheese goes perfectly with, well, everything! Great food and great folks that keep Currituck BBQ a favorite family spot.

This BBQ is AMAZING! The biggest problem I have when visiting is trying to pick which sides to get because they are all soooo good! Their sweet potato casserole is to die for I ve never been disappointed with any meal we ve had there. They are great because they provide a variety of sauces to add to your BBQ so there is something for everyone s taste!
The other big problem here is the selection of fresh and pretty desserts to chose from. The bread pudding is my favorite but you really can t go wrong with any of their options.
The staff here is always kind, considerate and efficient. Even when it s tourist season, I ve never had to wait very long because their staff is quick, friendly and they ve always gotten my order right!
Side note: their sauces are awesome and available for purchase.
If you live near by or or just passing through, you will not regret stopping in for some real southern food.

They never fail me. I will sometimes make a special trip over to coinjock just to eat here. Great Food!

I love this place. I'm a fan of NC barbecue and this one is excellent. I sample barbecue all over NC, and I keep coming back here. The barbecue is all meat. You don't have to pick through it. My main gripe with some places is all the extraneous stuff in the barbecue. Not a problem here. They also catered my son's wedding. Everyone loved it. Decor is plain, but what the heck, who goes to a barbecue place for hanging ferns?

Drove an hour from Va Beach to eat here. My first time, husband loves it! Food was very good. Not a fan of the sweet potatoe casserole. It was way over spiced. Hush puppies were delicious!

Awesome doesn't even describe how delicious our lunch was. Not sure who the cashier/order taker was, but she was amazing, friendly, fast and had great control over the crowd that just kept coming. Thanks for a great meal to the end of our vacation.

Best BBQ (other than my personal smoker) in this part of the country! Don't forget to order the fresh collards when in season (after 1st frost)!

We end up eating there a least one day a week, especially when our kids play sports. Bbq is excellent as well as everything on the menu. This place looks like a dive, but worth a visit. Food seems fresh and hot every time. Desserts aren't too bad either! Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Nice and clean BBQ meat place. It s very popular. Plenty of different BBQ sauce to choose from. Huge outdoors picnic area when the seating inside is full. This is a place you get your food from the counter. Prices seem reasonable and staff are loud but friendly. We have eaten her twice in two years. Great place to stop and grab a quick lunch.

YUM!!!! the "burnt tip" sandwich is sooooo good! their mac and cheese is the stuff good dreams are made of, and there burgers put any where else on the way to OBX to shame. EAT HERE!!

Great BBQ, outside pavilion seating only, room for dogs to walk around and exercise. Very bucolic setting.
