THE ABSOLUTE BEST barbecue in the area. The burnt ends are fabulous.....but don't order them unless you're hungry. Mac and cheese, pickled beets, hush puppies, fried okra, French fries, sweet potato casserole are some of the outstanding sides you can order. Great food, great service.
Best BBQ, hands down. Pork is so flavorful there is no sauce needed. Delicious food. Highly recommend!

Some of the best BBQ I've ever had! The pulled pork is tender and really tasty, the slaw is cool and the sweet potato casserole is so good make you wanna slap yo momma. Do yourself a favor and stop in on your way to and/or from the Outer Banks.

Great food! But pissed because we live in Camden, called to order take out so my husband could pick it up on his way home. Asked to pay over the phone since my husband didn t have his card and was denied! Every restaurant we have done take out from allows this. Considering the fact that I didn t want to drag my 6 kids out and it was on my husbands way home from work I found it absurd! Great food though!
The best BBQ in Currituck I get it every fourth of July when I'm down in the area visiting my family. This place is completely off the hook! Never had a bad meal from there been going there for years. Always nice always hot
I always stop here if it close to lunch. The portions are big, the price is fair, the service is good and the BBQ is good. Even on busy days the wait is not too much. Stop and try. You'll be happy you did.

Long lines. The young lady taking my order did not seem to be interested in providing good service. The food was good but not worth the wait and poor service.

Burnt ends platter is delicious. Generous portions. Potato salad is yummy. French fries are crispy and perfect. Variety of sauces. Reasonable pricing. This was our first visit. We will be back!!

Update 9/16- Ordered family pack 1 supposed to get a 1/2 pint sauce got only the little cups I made myself. Ordered 2 jumbo cheeseburger meals 1st was told they were out of cheeseburgers do you wanna wait I said sure normally they ask what you want on it but I thought ok they will put everything and I will pick it off no problem NOPE nothing at all on the microwaved cheeseburgers.... Ordered okra with 1 of the meals and and extra order it was burnt to the point you couldnt eat it they crumbled in your hands. This was an AWFUL experience wont be back for awhile.

20 July 2019 - As an OBX local this is one of the few places I get BBQ, which is saying a lot considering we live 40 minutes away in Kill Devil Hills. I always get the burnt end beef brisket sandwich, and probably the best part, is they have six different BBQ sauces to choose from at your table. I mix and match three of them. Let's face it, Carolina BBQ is only popular in the Carolinas for a reason. Most of it is bland and many times soggy, and most of the sauces are basically pure vinegar. This place actually has some flavor, as real BBQ should have, and what the rest of the USA is used to.
Arrived at 6p on a Friday night and we were the only ones there. Service was quick and friendly. Ordered chopped brisket with Mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole and of course...hush puppies. Asked for the SC BBQ sauce. Food came out hot and was very good. Hush puppies weren t greasy. Could have eaten a lot more. SC sauce as ok. Less sweet and more mustardy then I like. By the time we sat down to eat it was crowded. Overall great experience and would go back!
