Very good bbq, burnt end brisket is my favorite. A little dry this past time and portion size seemed smaller but overall still a good place to eat.

This is the most over rated place I have ever eaten. I had high expectations but I was disappointed. The BBQ was very bland and the vegetables had so much black pepper in them I couldn't eat them. I have no desire to ever go back.

The BBQ wasn't very flavorful and it came with no bbq sauce. You have to add it at the condiment station. The older woman at the cash register wasn't friendly at all.

We love to stop here going to the Outer Banks and when returning back to Virginia. Gotta say Currituck BBQ surpasses Richmond's BBQ hands down.
Also the best onion rings! Dag gone, I've made myself hungry and craving some right now. Wonder if they deliver, LOL. Thanks Currituck BBQ

Always our go to for BBQ. They have the best. We come from Virginia beach just for their BBQ and brisket.

Clean, food came quick, good sized portions - Very good BBQ, much better sides. My picky child loved the food.

Delicious BBQ. We ordered the pulled brisket, ribs and mac & cheese. Ribs had a savory sweet tangy sauce. Never had pulled brisket before but it was tasty. Also, I'm not a pulled pork kind of person so I can't give a better description for the brisket. The mac was flavored nicely and it stays rich and creamy! They only do take out at this time due to CV19 so even after an hour ride back home the food was yummy!

A lot of flies in the restaurant, no flavor on the beef brisket sandwich, the potato salad and macaroni & cheese taste like they were store bought. I wouldn't go back there.

Ribs were good. Brisket was ok. All the sides were good.

Awesome Pork BBQ, mac and cheese and hushpuppies! Lots of different sauces for all BBQ lovers. Easy location to get in and out and very friendly service for your family. Enjoy!

Bbq wasn't as good as expected - bisket was overcooked and dry, portions on side dishes were minimal.

Plenty of North Carolina barbeque items. Found it a bit too chopped and tasteless

Great BBQ, they have a wonderful outside seating area, and overflow parking for RVs of all sizes.

Okay barbecue. Pulled pork has no sauce and was dry. We went back in to get sauce and they only gave us tiny containers of three different kinds of sauce. There wasn't even enough of one to cover 1/4 of the pulled pork and it was so dry it soaked it up. They were out of half the sides and for $3.50 you get the smallest container of cobbler. Definitely not worth it in my opinion.

Best hushpuppies ever had. BBQ and sweet potato casserole was fantastic.,

Have to remember that we are coming out of quarantine and your order may take a while. Great tasting food overall, just busy and maybe needed another worker but I believe they may be hiring also.

Food had me like damn, I put it in my mouth like slam, I heard the other people shout Jam. I swear that I'm telling you the facts, cause that's how I enjoyed some good north carolina bbq

Great tasting BBQ! Good place to eat when you have your pet with you. Loved the pavilion. Sandwich would have been better if the bun had been lightly toasted. I had slaw on my sandwich. The bun got to wet before I could finish it.

We chose the Outer Banks for a destination wedding and had the arduous task of providing food for our guests without having tasted it first. We decided on BBQ and began intently searching for a restaurant that could provide the service and quality fit for a wedding. We needed a delivery and set up service with a variety of options on the menu. After searching through copious amounts of online reviews, we decided on Currituck BBQ - even though they were ~45 minutes away and we had several options within blocks of our wedding venue. Every rave review they've received was incredibly accurate with regards to their professionalism, timeliness, and hospitality!
As for the food, we had herb baked chicken, ribs, pulled pork bbq, green bean casserole, Cole slaw, macaroni and cheese, hush puppies and the most delicious bacon wrapped scallops! We wound up eating an hour later than intended due to the inevitable delays of a wedding, and everything was still steaming hot and nothing was dried out. Every single one of our guests enjoyed their meal and we could not have been happier with every aspect of what Currituck BBQ provided for us.
At the end of the day, it was fantastic food at a reasonable price with outstanding service, and we couldn't be more pleased that it wasn't something we had to stress about on our wedding day.

Ok, I can't now, for issues with health, but I hope to again ,eat here. Bar-b-q sandwiches are great' the hushpuppys the best around I'v had and I could just eat those there that good, macaroni& cheese, wow 'I can't think of anything I'v ate here I didn't love.. so bravo to you all, for I can be a picky eater.. but you all have it ,hands down!

If its anywhere near lunch time and I know im passing Currituck BBQ I plan to make a stop. My parents live in Moyock and I live on the beach so Its my prime stop for great food on my way to see my family. Im a tradionalist. I get a giant BBQ sandwich with slaw, fries, and mac n cheese. Best in the county, and the closest thing you can find to being at a private pig pickin.

Great pulled pork, Cole slaw and hush puppies. Love the picnic tables outside under the giant pavilion. Dog friendly.

You'll miss out on some awsome Carolina BBQ if you drive by.

Sweet potatoes casserole could not be better anywhere. Okra needs larger okra, but good. Will definitely stop again.

Great BBQ. Plenty of parking and a large area for dogs to stretch there legs.Good place for you and your dogs to take a break.

Wonderful! Barbque is amazing! French fries are very tasty and crispy. Everything is good! We go every Tuesday we can for half price day. Staff very friendly and very clean facility...99.0% rating. You can also take food to very large picnic area under shelter located on premises Ample parking. Go once and you'll always return!

Tasty BBQ. Fast service. Fun atmosphere. Covered outdoor seating area was great for kids. Wish there were yard games or something. Perfect pitstop for future trips to the OBX.
