Awesome place, great location and lovely rooms. Food excellent. Staff go above and beyond - my off-road jeep developed an electrical problem and died - the hotel electrician was summoned and after a bit of rewiring, in 30 minutes fixed it for free. Great service.

What a place! The staff can't do enough for you and the food is amazing. The rooms are huge and well furnished but there are some things that prevent me giving 5 stars. Some of the fixtures and finishes are poor, the television in my room didn't work and I had to request the maid service when it hadn't been done automatically. Not what I expect from a 5 Star hotel.

Stayed at the Al sahari tented villa -
First day - electricity goes bust and the maintenance team take hours to fix it as a result ruining our plans for the evening .
Inconsistency in food served in our villa everyday - no steak sauces served with the steak and no bread basket on day 2
Mattress looked like they haven t been replaced in ages with torn sheets , unclean carpets , The television remote and the land phones were not cleaned / sanitized as they looked filthy .The alcohol / beverages were never chilled as the mini fridge didn t function properly . We kept waking up in sweats in the middle of the night due the air-conditioner not working optimally .
All In all not something you would expect from a 5 star property ! The General manager of this resort is not someone who takes action as there were no apologies nor a call from her side to check if the issues were resolved.

A Very disappointing experience!

Dixon was amazing. The whole place was absolutely fantastic. The rain forest experience was beautiful. I would definitely go again. I would have liked to ride horses but the price was a bit much.

I would give it one star for the lovely scenery. You would expect a luxurious hotel would take high cleaning measurements but surprisingly they don t. You would expect during these times with COVID19 they would have high maintenance and cleaning services but no you would be disappointed. They didn t even measure our temperature when we checked in. Also no social distancing is being implemented as the lobby was so crowded. Anyways, they didn t even apologize for their poor cleaning we practically asked them to apologize. Also food is horrible and so expensive! I checked out a day earlier because I cannot stay in a place with low cleaning standards. Still can t figure out why is this place considered luxurious and expensive!

I visited this hotel 3 times as it is an amazing place. I have celebrated my anniversary, my birthday and this time my wifes birthday.
Unfortunately this time I had the worst experience out of the 3.
Where to start now :
1. On check in they took around 48 AED per night per room (we booked 3 rooms) I booked for 2 nights each that's 288 AED in total. This was without asking and when I found out it was donation ( donation is what we give away to help not somthing you take without asking or mentioning it )
2. After we checked in we waited in the heat for about 25 to 30 min for a club car without any one from the hotel even being around ( I don't know if they are short in staff or what the issue was )
3. Got to the room and the TV was showing the channel in a small box not full screen and we asked to fix it and they did fix it 2 times but kept happening again technician could not explain why and also we would just loose audio from time to time (I attached a picture of the TV screen)
4. Asked for towels and they came after 3 hours and 3 phone calls of me to following up with them.
5. As the hotel told me I should ask for a club car 15 min before I want then to pick me up and when I did I got the club car after 1 hour it happened not once but many times (again I think they are short in staff or club cars driving around)
First 2 times we visited we were so impressed and this time we even upgraded ourselves and decided to choose the tent villa and it's sad that we have been disappointed.

Horrific experience as a Marriott Bonvoy loyalty member with GM Traceh Oliver and her team's complete lack of care for our safety and health in these current times.

With over 200 great nights spent at your hotels across the world and being a Gold Elite member of Marriott Bonvoy, I least expected to face such treatment a 5 star hotel team.

My wife and I were booked at the Ritz Carlton Al Wadi Desert in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
We had called to inquire about an early check-in prior to arriving at the hotel and had been confirmed availability and eligibility.
Once we arrived, we were greeted with:
1. Non-availability of villa
2. Lied to about the type of villa we were given vs what we booked (driven in a buggy in 40 degrees celsius weather to realize that the front desk gave us the villa we did not book and had spent half an hour refusing to accept)
3. Spent 3.5 hours in the lobby of the hotel for finally the GM, Ms. Tracy Oliver, agreeing to give us an upgraded room that would be ready in another hour or more!
4. My wife having to work on the ground in the lobby with the GM not even looking at her to offer her a desk with an electricity socket so she can work

Absolute nightmare of an experience as you can imagine. Please note that the Ritz Carlton team at Al Wadi Desert is definitely not worried aboht your safety in these times!!

Xmas weekend at this heaven in desert property,101 villas spread over 300 hectares. Fantastic activities in the hotel itself & great service , GM Tracey Oliver & team go out of the way to make sure you enjoy your stay & I guess this is because it must be hard to pull guests away from Dubai. Our party of 20 had a wonderfully memorable stay, however it s not an inexpensive place. Recommended places are Farmhouse, Zipline, Desert Safari, Archery & Falconry. Highly recommend this property !

The place is fantastic. Even though, the should warn main pool is not open. On the other end, they should care more about guest. In one night stay, i been bothered with more than 4 phone calls from reception, interrupting my naps and relax, and the worse, after agreed we will pay dinner and others on the check out, 30 minutes after the dinner (very poor for the value), someone ring the bell in my room, again interrupting our intimacy and sleep, to charge from the dinner, with the POS and the ticket. Unacceptable for that standard of hotel and the price you pay, they treat you asif you are going to run away. Again Unacceptable

I booked a villa and specifically asked for open desert view, I made sure twice that was the villa booked for me, they also made me choose by asking which view i wanted! When i reached there, they took us to a villa with a closed different view, I told them that wasn t what I booked for, they told me they are fully booked and they don t have an available villa with a desert view and I have to upgrade and pay 1500 AED extra for a bigger and nicer view. I was very upset and went to the reception and been told that they have a villa and they ll take us but after they had told me they re fully booked?!! That was all planned for my husbands birthday and they ruined it. We ignored that there was a garbage and trash bags in-front of the villa let alone the wrong view!! They got us a small piece of cake as a complimentary LOL! This is not whats expected from a 5-star hotel! Never going there again.

Very nice place to escape the busy life of the city, relax and swim in your own private pool. Overlooking the sand dunes, there you would most probably notice a few gazelles as they roam around their natural conservatory habitat.

The decor was amazing as was the surroundings. The food was only average. The staff was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the organization was lacking. Check-in and check-out were extremely slow and tedious. Expected much more with The Ritz Carlton name.

A peaceful resort in the middle of the desert great villas and kind staff. There is something for everyone and they even have a star gazing pavillion with an astronomer to help you gaze! Plenty of animals and activities and shows. The Farmhouse steakhouse has great food. The spa area is fantastic as well! Had a great time! *great for families as well as couples!

Wonderful opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of Dubai and stay in a private and secluded villa in nature reserve. The accommodation and facilities were first class and the staff extremely friendly. A personal highlight was the daily falcon show which is free of charge for all guests. I look forward to visiting again in a few months when the plants and trees are in full bloom.

WOW just wow! Wow is the only word I feel best describes the Ritz Carlton Al Wadi Desert.

From start to finish we were treated like royalty and the service here was to an extremely high standard we was very impressed. It seems that any room you book here is fancy (and each have their own private swimming pool) but the suites are particularly nice if it is for a special occasion.

The suite rooms come equipped with a mini bar area, bedroom, lounge, hallway, dressing area, bathroom (with standalone bathtub, walk-in shower, his & hers sinks and a toilet), outdoor terrace area, full-sized private pool and private desert area. They are absolutely gorgeous and I would highly recommend (they are a little on the pricey side but worth it!)

There are a few restaurants on site and breakfast was included in our package (it isn't with all). The breakfast was delicious and one of the best hotel breakfasts I've tried. There is also a steak restaurant (The Farmhouse) and a sunset cocktail bar (which was closed when we visited due to COVID). We visited The Farmhouse and the food was out of this world extremely tasty and had a great atmosphere (very relaxed and chilled).

Some of the most magical experiences can happen when you're in your private pool. One of ours was at sunset when a flock of camels (around 5/6) walked past and started nibbling on the trees literally 2 metres from our pool. We also witnesses special visits from Oryx's and flocks of birds it was beautiful.

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and we cannot wait for our next visit!

The most courteous welcoming and hospitable staff ...

The most courteous welcoming and hospitable staff we have ever been with, right from the first security gate till even the house keeping teams and the random rides and activities, all tried to ensure a hospitable and comfortable stay. Very well done villas with private pools (1.4m deep.) The activities like horse riding, desert drive and wildlife feeding, falcon show, etc. are all excellent and exciting. Amazing experience for the whole family!

Amazing place and great staffs. Must see, Al Wadi Tower - beautiful view from the top and they have free roaming wildlife. The Banyan Tree is a must visit spot, closed for renovations- believe it to be more better.

A must visit hotel.
