It may not be the cheapest getaway but it is very well worth the visit once or twice a year. Even though their enclosed villas provide you more privacy, I would highly recommend the normal Rimmal pool villa which is gorgeous and an excellent weekend retreat for both couples and families.

I considered giving this property 2* as the location is really beautiful and a nice break from a busy city. But honestly, after the EXTREMELY poor service I just couldn t do it.

This is the worst 5* property I have ever stayed at.

The room is dated and was really dusty, I don t expect this at the best of times let alone when the property has enhanced cleaning protocols in place for Covid.

From arrival to check out the whole stay was terrible, 30-40 minute check in, waiting 30 mins plus every time you ask for a buggy, even when calling in advance to ensure you are not late.

Really disappointing & I am surprised Marriott / Ritz as a brand are not doing due diligence & keeping this property up to standard.

The service is very process driven & computer says no attitude, with no thought for the customer experience.

The tables were all dirty at lunch time and nobody was clearing them / wiping them down, they were just seating guests inside instead.

Please think twice before choosing this property as if you have stayed at other Ritz properties you will be VERY disappointed.

Its a good option for a stay cation but the facility could definitely improve. The rooms are outdated and there aren t impromptu activities to do, maybe a library with chess would be nice. Also it would be nice to have music playing all around the resort to help it be more connected and have a bit of a vibe.
The resort is a bit lacking as it gets boring during the day and there isnt a theme for the resort to overlook that.
The farm house restaurant was delicious.

A more than wonderful place .. in privacy, suitable for conservative families and spouses .. suitable for everyone .. a place in privacy .. 100%
The pool must be watched by the children, the depth is 1.4
Nice, tidy, clean and hospitable staff..the place is worth a visit for families ...
Breakfast is sweet in a place called Al-Kahila
And a children's corner ... in a falcon display for visitors.
The swimming pool overlooks the desert .. Birds, musketeers and deer pass by.

A really special luxury resort just north of Dubai...

A really special luxury resort just north of Dubai, about an hour away that is located within the large (over 1 thousand acres) Al Wadi nature reserve.

Resort itself is generously spaced out so you get plenty of privacy and an intimate experience of connecting with nature and the inspiring desert surroundings. Bicycles are made available with plenty of cycling paths to get around!

The retreat is upscale and provides a selection of luxury villas inspired by Bedouin architecture, with private outdoor pools and lovely views of the desert. Oryxes and gazelles often show up.

Resort includes a lavish spa, a bar, several restaurants, a gym and a large shared pool.

Lots to do including desert trek on camel- or horseback, archery, stargazing, falconry demo, etc.

Great memories and quite romantic. Such a special place, highly recommend!

We've never had such an attentive and high-class service as we did staying at the Ritz Carlton Al Hamra Beach Resort. The staff were amazing from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble for them and they went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. We were totally spoilt from the moment we got there, and they made us feel so welcome, like we were the only guests at the resort.

The resort itself is pure paradise, the tented-beach villas were stunning. The location was perfect. The air-conditioning was so quiet, and the amenities were fantastic.

I can't fault anything, it was an incredible stay, not just for the property/food/location but because the staff were so accommodating and welcoming. I wish every hotel could be as wonderful as this!!

Lovely villa resort in the midst of sand dunes. Huge property with every luxury you can expect of a Ritz Carlton. Very courteous staff, eco friendly (cars not allowed inside) electric buggies and cycles available. Great cuisine, chef customizes as per requirement and lots of leisure activities. Every villa has its own private pool.

One of the most fascinating and luxurious resorts I have been to. All staff are courteous and strive to make the stay as pleasent and joyful as possible. We stayed in one of the secluded villas. The villas have a bed/living room and and equally large bathroom. The rooms are elegantly furnished and have USB charging ports.
Each villa has its own pool. The views from the secluded villas are amazing and at night and in the early morning Oryx and other deer might come by to drink and graze.
The Destination Dining activity is great for a romantic dinner.
The activities, such as stargazing or bird watching walk, are educational and inspiring.
Also, the kids club is an attractive place for the kids to play.
Bonvoy recognition was beyond what is usually given for a RC property.

I put two stars because of the service we received in one of the bars inside or Moorish. The staff always polite for charity, but having ordered cocktails for alcoholic drinks you expect that in one place everything will be accompanied by snacks .... to think that not even napkins have put on the table. A complete disappointment ..... however the complex is beautiful and the atmosphere is unique.

The villas are spacious, beautiful and private. They provide you with free bicycles .. Breakfast is good .. The kids are a Gemayel dog .. It is about 10 minutes drive from the island of Al Hamra. The basin is very warm and suitable for a young adult. ) .. I recommend booking the hotel on the day of the atmosphere be mild, not hot summer and not cold Chta .. The disadvantage of the basin is not covered from above the shadow of the hours can not swim from the heat of the sun

The area is fantastic and well maintained. The staff, service is perfect. The food is oriental and tasty. The villas are large and each with its own pool. Unfortunately, I have to deduct a star. Reason: The villa which we inhabited had some signs of wear and tear and the need for a delicate renovation.

The hotel is nice in general and the atmosphere is as well, but unfortunately for citizens and Arabs there is no regard for dress in public places or kissing and hugging in front of your family and your family, even after informing the staff about this, you change your place and you are told what we can prevent the feelings of others, and this is most often when you enter the lobby or restaurant.
I hope that the customs and traditions of the people of this country are observed and respected, as is the case in other countries.

Service is unfortunately written small. One week before the start of the trip to learn that in the hotel in the room category is graded several times, because the conversion lasts until the end of September is disappointing. The goodwill is unfortunately not acceptable and on the statement of the service hotline, not to speak with end customers, one can only wonder ....

I am here today. The service is very poor even at the Breakfast. Buggy service is very late. No response at all. The options in the Lunch & Dinner are very bad against the value we paid. Our family do not like and we never come back. I would not recommend to any one to go here

It was a beautiful stay for my birthday! The Rimal Villa was such a charm, we saw the Almahas as soon as we checked in. The pool area and the room were clean. Although, there were a few things missing in the minibar and the bathroom but we could live without them.
The bed was so comfy and the staff were very sweet and helpful. We had dinner at the Farm house, Highly recommended! we took a night bike ride on our own and we couldn't resist not swimming at night after the dinner and bike ride. I received 2 birthday cakes, one when i arrived and another during breakfast. We saw camels when we were having breakfast too!
Thanks to my sweet husband and Ritz-Carlton, I had a wonderful and an unforgettable stay

Very nice place to stay , far away from the noise , there are a lot of activities and entertainment , the stuff are so friendly.
My issue there was only the swimming pool which was next to the street and there was no privacy, they promised to cover it same as other villas then they give an excuse that they cannot.
