The staff on another side very friendly very helpful they were all very nice and warm.
If you want an extremely private and romantic staycation i would highly recommend this resort
Dreamlike desert hotel
A desert hotel in a fantastic location right in the desert. The hotel is located in a nature reserve. Here you can experience the desert nature up close, including gazelles and orex anthilopes that appear right in front of the villas. The wish for a hotel in the desert was completely fulfilled.
As already described a hotel in the desert. Dubai is about 80 km away. The city of Ras al Chaimah and the sister hotel Ritz Carlton Al Hamra can be reached in 20 minutes by car. The hotel offers a free shuttle service every day at 11 a.m.
The drive from Dubai Airport to the hotel takes about an hour.
We had booked Tented Villa. They are very beautiful and excellently equipped villas with sleeping area, sitting area, minibar and a very spacious bathroom. Each villa also has its own heated pool.
The "accessories" in the villas really leave nothing to be desired. It's all there. They even thought of little things like wet razors or toothbrushes. Room service takes place twice a day - in the morning and in the evening. Our villa was in the first row to the desert. We recommend villas 401 to 408.
The complex is very spacious, so each villa has two bicycles with which one can explore the complex, but also reach the numerous leisure activities. If you don't want to ride a bike, which we only did, you can request a buggy service at any time. This then brings you to any desired location in the, as I said, very extensive resort.
To speak of excellent when it comes to service is an understatement. Everyone really everyone is very very attentive. You don't have to ask if you need help. Necessary help is recognized and offered - no ifs or buts. In addition, the service was always very personal - you are addressed by name.
Even if the resort meets very high demands, you can also be out and about there casually.
The resort has several restaurants. There is a very good breakfast buffet in the Khaleee restaurant, where you can also enjoy lunch. There are also three other restaurants with Arabic and international dishes. Just try out what you like for yourself.
We personally and probably the majority of the other guests see it that way, liked the farmhouse the best, where we had our dinner. Lunch and dinner are usually a la carte. We had booked full board, half board or only breakfast is also possible. Half board should be booked as the hotel is far from civilization.
The quality of the food was very good in all restaurants. As is so often the case, however, when choosing a restaurant, taste is decisive.
In addition to a spa with sauna (for those who like to be warm in the desert) and massages, fitness room and an additional pool area, the hotel offers a range of other leisure options and activities. A variety of leisure activities were already included in our full board. So we went on a mountain bike tour through the desert, a horse ride in the desert, archery, falcon and eagle presentations, and a jeep excursion with a very experienced ranger. However, the activities can also be booked individually at a reasonable price. Some activities are also so free.
The resort is old but under renovation. The renovations end at the end of 2017
Luxury property featuring what are most probably the best accommodation in the desert being a villa only experience.
If you are looking for total relax while enjoying stunning desert view in full luxury, this is the place to visit.
Nevertheless, restaurant menu should be dramatically improved and the overall experience is still far from what you expect from Ritz.
Overnight from New Year's Day.
Access is about 1 hour and 20 minutes by taxi from downtown Dubai. After confirming the reservation name at the gate in front of the Ritz-Carlton premises, on the premises. Basic security is no problem.
We arrived at check-in at 15:00, but the lobby was overcrowded. I waited for about 20 minutes and finally checked in. I am sorry from the start just because I expect high service. The staff who had contacted Marriott Bonvoy in advance and had no communication with the e-mailers at all had good correspondence, but had difficulty coordinating.
The premises can be moved by buggy or rental cycle, so it is convenient to go anywhere. It is comfortable to move on large premises even with children.
The villa has a pool and is very well cleaned. The pool is warm, so you can swim without problems in winter.
It is a pity that dust was in the coffee machine storage area. In addition, there are many places where the power supply has been damaged due to aging.
Both the restaurant and the room service are excellent.
We could ride camels and horses and watch Falcon shows. We think that it is the best hotel for various experiences by long-term stay. We think that we can stay in peace if cooperation between staffs can be performed smoothly whether it was the beginning of the year.
Since there are expectations different from other hotels in terms of amount and hotel level, we will make 4 stars with expectation for future improvement.
Also, next time I want to stop when the children get a little bigger.
Excellent place to stay at. Very friendly and helpful staff. We'll done to AMR for showing us around and being quick to pick us up. Gabriel also was a great coach at the archery. The rain forrest Spa is amazing to and not to be missed
Great stay ...only if the pool could be more heated
One of the best resorts we have been to. Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Lots of activities to keep kids n adults busy. However the rooms are very cozy n the plunge is temperature controlled. If you want to be in a natural environment this is a great option.
I visited for a conference and I can tell that the service is 5 stars...the location is of course away from everything and everybody but you are surrounded with sands and wild animals that makes it unique

Staff can be slow to respond to requests and the mezze starter in one of the restaurants tasted like it had come out of the freezer but the resort itself is lovely.

I went this hotel. Very busy hotel. Hotel was excellent. Nice view. Staff also good. Service was very nice. When i go morning breakfast. Whe i went egg station. One of chef his name is Mohit. He speak with kitchen staff very rudely. He should know how to speak with staff.
We are a regular guests in this amazing secluded resort. We love everything about the facility, esp the private pool, enjoying the warm water while engaging with animals who freely roam around the resort.

Pathetic front office service from Kumani the receptionist, terrible inhospitable, uninformative, unhelpful check-in, & the same condescending arrogance from Yaseer who is supposed to be a duty manager.
Rooms in poor condition, internal doors and doors leading onto patio are broken and stuck so do not open & close with easy.
No welcome fruit or anything in room upon check-in. Definitely not 5 star service.
Secluded Al Sahari Villa is great to relax in your own private pool. Ritz Carlton is going to do some enhancements till October 2017. So worth going after that

Falcon show was also top notch. Wide options of cuisine also available - the villas and khaima's are what luxury is all about - had views of deer and orynx roaming about the sand dunes from our khaima. 5* all the way - highly recommended

The Ritz Carlton the best home out of home with the best services.
Stayed there for couple of nights, it's perfect gateway for romantic weekend, they have rooms with private pool, the room i stayed in it was excellent and big, service was excellent, staff very professional and friendly. Food also great and they have facility and activities for kids if you have a family, they have plenty of other activities to do during your stay there, will never get bored. This is one of the hotels that you must try once at least if you visit UAE.
This is the most wonderful place I have ever visited. Tented villas are amazing and full privacy is guaranteed! I would definitely recommend this place, and would be a pleasure to go there again!

Secluded resort in the outskirts of Ras Al Khaimah with amazing view of the desert.
The place is beautiful, and it provides a special reel, and bicycles are also provided to move around the resort with it as desired,

I never write reviews but this one time I think they absolutely deserve five stars. The hotel staff are absolutely nothing short of amazing. This is the one resort that can actually say they provide a truly wonderful and different experience. I wish I could name the manager who helped us out. He was great. The safari guy called Javed - brilliant! The restaurant staff. The club cart guys- brilliant again! Truly deserve the yup surrounding it.

Would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Farmhouse restaurant was well priced for drinks and food was packed with flavour. The room itself with the private pool is one of the best I've stayed in.

Positive: ''The place'' was amazing, clean, the workers were very polite.
Negative: food quality is very bad.
A small can of 7up price was 34 AED!! They can make it 50 AED if they want to pretend it's tourism price.
It was my 1st time and last time to visit this hotel.
Amazing experience. We spent a weekend there during covid outbreak. The villa was amazing as well as the private pool. They have a nice buggy service to move around the place (very important during the hot season), although they provide also personal bikes. Unfortunately due to the situation we could not enjoy some places and activities, but overall we are very happy. The reason why I don't give 5 star is the restaurant. Being extremely hot, the restaurant in the summer operates only indoor which is fine, but the environment is not as beautiful as you would expect. Tables, chairs and the entire environment was very neglected, portable AC located everywhere like in cheap restaurant, and the food quality was not bad, but definitely not impressive.
Overall we are happy with the experience, we just would had expected something better from the restaurant
My family had the most wonderful day at the Ritz Carlton resort to enjoy the first weekend of 2019. The resort being a Nature Reserve is beautifully located centrally in a dessert . The have more then 100 accommodation as villas of an exceptional standard and quality.
Anita the front office manager helped us in showing around the property and various activities like falcon show..horse riding..that are offered.
All the restaurants provide amazing range and variety of cuisines; the choice of food is varied and amazing. The whole team of Kaheela restaurant and his team are always on their toes to provide an excellent support and service in the restaurants. Darcia, greeted us with welcoming smile .
The wide choice and selection of menu was truly amazing.
There is a variety of food choice in restaurants for soup .
They have an amazing selection of salads and self mix up cut veggies as welli loved the beetroot salad .for maincourse as well international options catered to everyones delights.The cheese and veg spring rolls were loved by the kids.Lamb and beef options were also served.
All arabic salads..were of great treat.
Deserts were totally rellished by my kids.especialy the coconut cookies and chocolate pies.
Lastly and not to be forgotten is
Amit Arora the GM who truely deserves salutes for keeping standards of service so high and making our day so memorable.His teams, dedication and hard work in maintaining and achieving such extraordinary high-class facilities and levels of service must be commended and acknowledged. This is truly a luxury 5 star resort hotel in performance.

We had a perfect holiday week in a very romantic area. The tent bungalows are fantastic. The service is unsurpassed friendly and the food is a treat. Although it is very expensive we will come back.
Wonderful spacious clean luxury rooms with private pool. The privacy is extreme. Great location, with loads of activities, stable, archery, what not.. Food and bars are amazing... Will be back ...
