We chose to celebrate our wedding day in the restaurant of Balkansko Biju Hotel and I can say with pleasure that this was an excellent choice! The staff was helpful and smiling, the manager of the restaurant, Maria, was always at our disposal and did everything necessary to make our day wonderful and our guests happy. We didn't have to worry about anything during the party, because everything was perfectly organized. The restaurant is quite large after the expansion they have made and quietly gathers a large group of people, which was very important to us. We had a good variety of menus to choose from and with Maria's recommendation we chose what everyone was happy with. Balkan Jewelry provides the opportunity for an outdoor ceremony by the pool and this was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel. The beautiful view of the mountain contributes to the good mood. The only thing that bothered us for a moment was that the restaurant has no white tablecloths, but the manager Maria immediately took care of that by providing tablecloths from one of the neighboring hotels. Some of our guests stayed overnight at the hotel and were very pleased with how spacious and clean the rooms are. The hotel manager, Proletka, took care of the reservation of the guest rooms and although there was a large group and some people came the day before the wedding and others on the day itself, there was no confusion and everyone was accommodated where they should be. The prices of the rooms for a large group are also very good. My husband and I are happy that we have chosen to spend one of the most important days in our lives in Balkan Jewelry and we highly recommend it to anyone who organizes a big and important event. We did not have to worry about absolutely nothing during the celebration, because everything was organized perfectly. The restaurant is quite large after the extension and comfortably fits a large group of people, which was very important to us.
We had a good variety of menus to choose from and with Maria's recommendation we chose the one that everyone ended up being happy with. The Balkan Jewel provides the opportunity for an outside ceremony by the pool and this was one of the reasons why we chose this hotel. The beautiful view of the mountain also contributed to the good mood.

Room rates for a large group are also a great deal. My husband and I are happy that we chose to spend one of the most important days in our lives in the Balkan Jewel and we strongly recommend it to anyone who organizes a big and important event. Very nice apart complex. It was warm in the apartments, the restaurant and the spa! There is a nice gym and delicious cuisine.

The hotel have 3 stars, not 4! The pool is to small.

Nice amenities. Comfortable beds for a nearby stay to ski in Bansko. Be sure to get firewood from the front desk for a low fee to enjoy the fireplace.

We spent 8 days with my family around New Year - we were with two small children. Our impressions were: great clean and cozy apartment, quite well equipped kitchen; with a bath and a fireplace (the latter we did not use because it was already quite warm). The menu in the restaurant was limited due to the reduced staff they work with, due to the situation, but everything was very tasty, the wine was very good, we enjoyed the big and beautiful fireplace; every day they offered different cooked things (off the menu), which you should know about and ask for separately. The spa is not very big, but the water in both pools was very warm (especially in the bigger one), which was great for the kids, they didn't want to go out. And in the relaxation area, where the sauna and the smaller pool are, we had a wonderful afternoon, because there was a view of the garden and we watched the snow fall, magically! As a minus I can point out that there is no way to make a connection from the spa to the reception (if you want something to be included or increased further) and you have to go to the reception in a bathrobe. But the staff was super responsive and pleasant, they responded to all our whims :) In general, we felt at home, the most relaxing place we spent with the children. We wait for more snow and go again :)

The room was nice with a good size balcony. Everything was clean. The counter attendants and restaurant staff spoke English. The sauna and spa were relaxing. The indoor pool was very small and accommodated only a few people. The over all atmosphere was nice. I would stay there again.

Nice place but hard to find. There is an outdoor pool, but with cold water. The spa center is super - saunas, steam bath, indoor pool, 2 jacuzzis. The meal at the block was not enough (but we were a large group of 300 people), there was not much variety.

Extra friendly everyone in the hotel. Super comfortable and clean place. For a family with little children :)

Great place for Milleniums. Wedding party bar stayed open until 6.00am and Rugby get together open until 3.00am.
Accommodation good and clean beds comfortable good for hiking in the Pirin mountains and of course skiing. Close to Bansko

This is called a hotel. You feel at home. You have everything you need. Everything is done to the end. There are no unfinished things big but it is not like a block of flats. Parking is your parking elevator. It is your apartment elevator, it is an apartment, regular cleaning. You will be pleased with everything, you can prepare everything in your own kitchen. And you can ignite the fireplace. Where have you used such a thing in a hotel in Bulgaria?

First hotel that we went that we needed to pay for a baby crib and a Spa robes. Also lunch was not available in the restaurant.

Upon arrival we were impressed that the reception staff are very kind. This, however, ends our good impressions.
On the first night (23 Emerald) we woke up and there were 10-15 blood-sucking bed bugs around us. We got up and checked to see if there were any under the covers. Unfortunately, in addition to many bugs, the mattress also had laid eggs. The friendly reception staff provided us with a new room at least midnight.
The restaurant and breakfast are not up to standard. When asked Excuse me. What is the dessert of the day? we were told "Honestly, brother, I don't know, I don't think we have such things", then we had to ask a few more times for each of the desserts, because the employee did not know what and how it was offered. The serving label is missing.
The pool is dirty, but the water has a very suitable temperature. I would rate it as nice. :)
"RELAXATION ZONE", although indoors, had a temperature of about 17 degrees and was not suitable for relaxation.
The kitchen has everything you need, we managed to cook a nice dinner, so this is definitely a plus. We could not find the utensils when we went to the reception, other choirs also asked - I advise you to move them to an easier place.

Great recreational facility. Located in between three mountains -Rila, Pirin and Rodopi mountains, the purest breathing on Earth.

The hotel is OK. However, the spa is a lively joke.

We visited the hotel in late April 2018 The staff is kind and responsive. It is clean in both the hotel and the rooms. The breakfast is very good, the restaurant prices are normal and the menu is varied. The indoor pool is small, the water in it is warm, there is a jacuzzi section. The spa is good, but the recreation areas are small and there is no warm connection between the different sections and the spa. Massages are expensive. There is an outdoor pool with a children's section, but the water is not heated and it is cold. Fitness is well-equipped and large. The apartments are comfortable and clean, the top floors are without a balcony and have chamfers. There are basic things in the kitchen of the apartments. The water is heated by boilers. There is satellite TV but the programs are few. Wi-Fi is good. There is no place for a walk around the hotel, just a building and a fence on the golf course. There is a playground for children and a variety of children's entertainment in the hotel's courtyard. There was plenty of parking, and there was an indoor parking lot.

The only thing we didn't like was the too much chlorine in the indoor pool.

The location is nice placed and this all the good things about it
The bad one are: the food is bad and smells bad, the new year party was an disaster, we pay for the staf to party and have a good time but not us.
They have lied about what they serve on the menu and made a profit out of anything from peanuts that they should put on the table and they put only one portion and not 5 as we paid for, to puting 2 type of chess instead of 4 as they write on the menu. The wine was the worst wine we ever tasted. The menu had no specification on alergens and was full of wholnuts i am not alowed to eat.
Thei did'n listen to ower complain until we give the first bad reviw on the internet.
After the new year party all 5 of us had stomach problem and staid all day on the toilet so don't eat there if you want to avoid this situation.
We discust with other persons chekt in the same hotel and they had the same stomach problem.
The food on new year was put on the table 2 hours before we came in the restaurand and all the food was dry and cold.
On the new year party no one came to clean our table we stayd all night with empty bottles of water and juice and looked at our waiter how she wave and smile and leave empty hands.
The clining is not good on bathroom we had some dirt under the sink since we came there and until we left and probabli will be there forever.
In one room of the apartment was very cold we stayd with the door of the room open so that the heat from the holl came in our room to.
For me and may group it was the worst new year party.
The staff don't speak or even understand english so you just have to hope they will recive your signs right.
Alsow a bad thing thei did, they left us in Bansko, the buss from 17 never arrived at the station, and when we complaind about it they said that the station was moved but we call at reception 10 minuts before 17 and they could said so and we would go to the station. We stayd there and call at reception 16 tims and they answerd and close the phone and with a bad attitude said that we should take a taxi is not their problem after 17 but we were ther before 17.
It was a bad experience i don't recomand the hotel and the restaurantna

We visited this place for a company event. The rooms were clean, comfortable and warm with everything we needed. The spa center was small but nice.

Very nice place for a family holiday. At the foot of Pirin, very fresh air! The hotel is very clean, the staff and the food are on the level! Perfect attitude to our whims :) The apartment was very clean and you had everything you needed. I recommend with both hands!

Making a reservation for this hotel at the travel agency where I work, I booked a room with breakfast included. When we arrived to check in, the reception told us that we did not have breakfast included and that we had to pay for it. Showing them the accommodation voucher, we still couldn't reach an agreement. The solution came when my colleagues from the agency talked to a contact person in charge of the unit.
The accommodation is a bit clean, the breakfast was diverse but like everywhere in Bulgaria with the cheapest products.
I went to the hotel pool which opened at 9 and was not open.
The experience was not 100% pleasant, it could have been worse but considering that it is not a cheap hotel at all compared to the rates in Bansko I expected to have other conditions.

Wonderful hotel with breathtaking views of Pirin Golf!

It was a perfect place to stay for our big group (18 people).
All apartments were very clean and spacious. We came on snowboarding / skiing holiday so it was nice to come back to warm apartments, knowing that hot Sauna & Spa is waiting every evening.
Breakfast buffet had a big choice of hot and cold food.

I think George (greek bar / restaurant manager) requires a special mentioning. He made us feel special every evening, preparing a big table by the fireplace, treating us with delicious dishes and drinks. It's amazing how one person can change the vibe of the place. We wish everyone in Bulgaria had a similar attitude...

Highly recommended, great value for the money.
Free shuttle to the ski lifts is included too.

The only small downside was breakfast starting rather late, at 8am. It would be nice to get to the ski lifts sooner to avoid the queues.

Wonderful place has a pool restaurant Jacuzzi, a fitness room, a children's playground, a children's garden also an outdoor pool small and large, wonderful views staff is lovely miles and good conversation always smiling. This place is visited by many foreigners also in two words I recommend it hot.

They don't have warm connection with the spa, they want you to pay for all the fun like foosball, darts etc. The chlorine in the pool is not maintained it goes too high and then loth of people go in and it goes low and no one is measuring it except once every day or many two (that is when it gets high again). The rooms are so so, sometimes I have a feeling they reuse some sheets once I had a food print on my pillow reacted and they changed it. They are like WIZZAIR, go cheap and try to charge you for everything also for towels! GO to TERRA complex insted! and also in 10:00 they pack up all the food back and if u come like 9:50 you will drink milk only!

Sofa bed for third person is complete scrap. Despite no complaint T allegedly no capacity and the housekeeper can not do anything.

It was very cool, the meals are great. There is a place for kids to play. A lot of relaxing activities to do such as spa, swimming and etc. Also a great variety of extra activities such as hiking, skiing, visiting the bear zoo and many more. I love it. :)

The food is not good.
There is no Wi-Fi in all blocks.
There are no slippers for the rooms.
The TVs are 19 inches.

Family of 4 people are here rooms or rather apartments are beautiful and clean

I simply loved the resort. The staff there was so friendly and willing to help. Their spa center is great and the small gym they have is ok.
The rooms(apartments) are very clean and tidy and well organized. Each room has heating which can be controlled through the main central heating termostat in the livingroom. They have all the necessary items and more (toaster, coffee pot, cutlery...)

Fantastic food, great spa, 10 minutes ride to gondola lift

Very good hotel, although it s not easily accessible. We had a room (A15) for 4 nights, very good room. Spa was not the best. Massage was very good. Restaurant with very delicious food. The only negative was that we had to wait for 20 minutes to be served during dinner, but I think this is something with no solution, as there were about 200 guests in the restaurant. But food was very delicious.

The resort is beautiful, clean, full of content, staff deceptively, the location of the good, everything in all we felt wonderful.

Quiet hotel, great, friendly staff. The only downside is having to go outside to walk between the hotel's "buildings", the walk back to our hotel room from the spa in the snow was not great! Has a really well-equipped gym and great restaurant! :D

The food is not particularly tasty. The restaurant is full of flies. Beautiful and well maintained gardens and lawns. Good hygiene in the rooms.

Beautiful hotel. Clean. Food is realy testy. Outdoor pull is perfectly positioned to be on sun most of the day. The internal spa area is mid class but there is a also fitness area, so you can fulfil your time always.

it is cold in the (2 bedroom) apartment, you must go to reception every single day to ask for shampoos and shower gels. and also you must have luck to be first in line for shower in your apartment, because there is not enough hot wather( only for first three persons).......

An excellent family location for those traveling by car in Bansko. Distance from the center 10 km, climbing the hills for another 11 km. Total 30-40 minutes to the ski lifts. Rooms are clean, large, very warm. A very good restaurant. On New Year's Eve, not a real menu with various national Bulgarian dishes. Fun DJ, good, fun for the whole family. The pool is small, but there is) Classic sauna.

Nice hotel with good service and a restaurant with good food.

A nice hotel but more of a 3 star instead of the stated 4 star. Staff were friendly and helpful, but little things like broken bins, using a duvet cover over the mattress instead of a fitted sheet, not enough sun loungers, etc. Breakfast was ok but quite a limited choice. The free shuttle bus to Razlog, Bansko and Lidl is really useful.

Beautiful hotel, clean and large room (one bedroom apartment), with full kitchen, which can keep the budget of the accommodation low.
Nice outdoor pool for relaxation, and small indoor plus jacuzzi. Free sauna, steambath facilities. Very satisfying buffet breakfast.
Kind and helpful staff.
Do not miss a visit to Razlog just 5 minutes by car. Beautiful parks for walking or a cigar in the shade of trees.

Cozy and clean place. The spa does not have a very large area, but it is nice!

Really bad food and spa as well. If you want to go to the spa you need to walk outside on the cold... if you have dinner included the offer you have there are really poor choice of ehat to eat

The service was good. The rooms clean but the food of the restaurant was below average.
