I liked everything what they offered: big (80 square meters) apartment for really affordable price of 40eur per day, enough big outdoor swimming pool, spa, jacuzzi etc..
Missing one star because of poor Internet connection: enough just for e-mail, viber

I would visit again. However, the hotel needs to improve the quality of the food. Also the indoor pool was quite small. The rest was more than perfect. Clean rooms, admirers for maids, courteous service and an incredibly good location, very close to Pirin Golf and Razlog.

There was a party in the restaurant and all the people smoked outside, so we couldn't sleep till 4a.m.,because the music was very loud.
Otherwise the hotel is fine, the food is not very good, but we expected such quality.

A wonderful place to rest. Quiet, clean, domestic staff.

The hotel is good and the apartments are well-appointed with fireplace and underfloor heating. We were together with our friend and we did a great job. And, of course, nothing ends here, because we are still in the vicinity of Razlog and there is no complete happiness. We were at dinner, and in one of our orders, except that it had a hair, the chicken was broken and smelt, and it was uniquely bad. We called the waitress who came to us several times, apparently happily taken from the shelves of the bar. We complained to her, but she explained that she could not do anything because the cook was the boss's wife. We told her to call the boss and an old man with white hair came, seemingly normal, but after listening to us, he began to swear and threaten us with very ugly words and the situation became very ugly. Everyone turned to our table and understood what was happening. The man said he called my wife with a lot of insulting words, and she told him to politely stop because she was over. Then he turned to a friend from the company and told him not to look at him because he would break his nose. The insulting picture lasted about 5-10 minutes and we decided to leave. After all, thank God, there were no incidents. It is a pity for the nice hotel, because if the attitude is to the clients, it will never drag him into this beautiful place.

The perfect place to be if you are looking for a totally relaxed and luxurious holiday. The villa is equipped with all the necessary amenities and much thought has been given to make the furnishings as beautiful and comfortable as possible. Their location is excellent. Also great attention has been given to security and we felt very safe indeed. It is also good value for money since the villa can accomodate up to eight people. I would definitely recommend a stay there and we are looking forward to going there again.

Very poor hygiene in the rooms, especially in the toilet. The toilet bowl was very dirty. Also hotel towels, as you can see in the pictures.

The food was good and the rooms were clean and warm. Spa isn't as good.

We were a group of 8 people staying for 7 days. The place is pretty cozy, the restaurant staff is pretty nice and the overall ambiance feels like a new building.
It's 15 minutes from Bansko, they have a shuttle but don't rely on it, the driver doesn't respect the schedule, it's a really frustrating experience. The spa is ok-ish, they have two dry saunas and a steam one. The jacuzzi is cold, small and the water jets are broken. The pool is about 15sq meters, it's a larger bathtub basically :).
What it's really worrying it's the fact that one car (audi a4) was stolen during our stay and two more were almost stolen (lexus and bmw). Our topcase carrying sky and snowboarding equipment was forced, they managed to damage the lock but it didn't open, we were lucky..

All in all, 7 cars were stolen in the area during 2 nights. I would recommend getting a good insurance and a steering wheel lock if you have a top end german car. Or just go to Austria or even Romania..

Pleasant stay, comfortable rooms, satisfying breakfast, good spa facilities, hammam and indoor pool, very helpful Greek staff (George at the restaurant and John, who make the difference) !! But it is lagging behind in terms of cleanliness and maintenance ...

We stayed 4 days during the winter season.
We arrived on Thursday before noon, hungry, but the restaurant was closed. We were told that it would not open until 2 p.m. Of course, the next day, when more people showed up, it wasn't like that. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style, with no variety. Dinner was the same, with makeshift recipes apparently from leftovers from the day before. When we arrived there was no lunch menu, on other days there was 1 set menu and nothing more. If you don't like what this set menu has to offer, you stay hungry. Other than that, the food was delicious.
We were in a one-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on and was not even completely horizontal, but on waves. While you take a hot bath, the boiler drips on your head. In one of the rooms, the bath siphon was not connected to the bathtub, and when you take a bath, the whole bathroom floats. The kitchen and kitchen appliances were highly depreciated. Not to mention that the apartment has nothing to do with their photos on the site. I have no complaints about hygiene.
When we wanted to use the spa, with prior assurance that everything works (specifically the sauna), the sauna was not included, the small indoor pool was ice and the steam bath was turned on maybe 5 minutes earlier, respectively the floor was ice, the benches too but the air was kind of warm. I had to turn on the sauna myself, later I refused to use it at all and it turned out that 3 hours later it had not yet raised the required temperature. On top of that, after sharing the sauna problem with the staff, I was most brazenly accused of lying to them and that there was no way. The common areas are not heated and if you want to go to the sauna after swimming in the heated pool, you will die of cold. Bathrobes and slippers are available from reception at an additional cost. All the robes we received were torn.
Most of the staff were foreigners and it was not easy to get along with them. But excluding small misunderstandings due to the fact that I am not English-speaking, our waiter was responsive and answered all our requests, and when taking food we somehow managed to use sign language.
I agree that in the conditions of the pandemic everything becomes more difficult, especially in the hotel business. But this should not be an excuse for a 4-star complex to present itself as a 2-3-star complex. It will not be bad, but at least the prices will be justified.
We came 3-4 years ago and the quality was different (better, with a few exceptions). That's why we came again. But if the above problems are not solved, I would not recommend the complex.

Beautiful hotel, located in the Pirin mountain and offering pool, spa, fitness and children's playground!

We visited the hotel between Christmas and NG in Kovid. Our reservation was for 6 nights, 7 people, divided into 3 one-bedroom apartments. When we arrived at 27 the building where we were accommodated was icy, not heated so far, neither the apartments nor the common rooms and the temperature in the rooms was about 10 degrees, we literally stood with jackets, scarves and hats. We immediately looked for a reception and asked for an explanation, they told us that they thought we were used to too warm and in fact the hotel was not cold. we also had fireplaces that we wanted to light, as it was not possible to heat the rooms with the available small radiator in the room. Ignition of the fireplace said that it would cost us BGN 20, but it turned out that once the wood from the initial ignition was over to pay another BGN 20 and so on rough bills if one ignition lasts 1-2 hours, then for the whole night we had to pay BGN 100 only to have normal living conditions. After quarrels we were saved They took the fireplace for free, but unfortunately the behavior of the management was not adequate. Instead of taking care of their guests, to see how happy we are, they argued with us. And isn't that exactly the idea of the mountain in winter - to ski and then to be warm and cozy in your room? The restaurant-in the conditions of Kovid we had the right to visit and eat only in the restaurant of the hotel where we are accommodated. Breakfast was buffet, almost without variety and at a medium level , for lunch and dinner there was a reduced menu and only a few dishes were offered: 4 salads, 3 appetizers, 4 main, 2 desserts. The food was relatively tasty, but some dishes were not well prepared: too greasy potatoes, undercooked rice, makeshift desserts .Unfortunately there was a lack of variety and not yet 2-3 days we all got bored and it was a real pain to choose something to eat. On 31.12 because they were preparing the festive dinner for lunch they only had french fries and fried chicken sticks. Imagine if you ate this on dinner on p the next day how much you will eat again. They literally left us to save ourselves and look for other alternative food options. Spa - very little for a 4 star hotel, not well maintained, dirty pool, cold common areas, lack of warm connection between the spa and the other blocks. The sauna accommodated only 5- 6 people, the pool is extremely small. The steam room and gym worked - something that is forbidden in Kovid's conditions. Staff-Manager to the question "What beers do you have?" answered with "I will check", the girls at the reception answered our every request, request and misconception with "Well, these are the rules of the hotel", the waiters at dinner and lunch had to chase them, to order, at the expense or to clear the table from previous guests.One waiter after coming to clean the table after literally 5 calls, sprayed our food (which sat on the next table) with detergent-extremely irresponsible! Apartments and rooms: I attach pictures of dirty sheets (yellow pillows, yellow stains on the sheets as well as blood stains), hygiene should be increased in Kovid's conditions, not the other way around. The bathroom was extremely cramped and uncomfortable, the bathtub literally ended up on the hinges and doors, the kitchen had the most basic conditions, all extremely depreciated, our tea kettle, for example, didn't even work. removed and dangerous to use. The TV is not as big as in their official photos, the remote had no batteries, the boiler was leaking in the bathroom and you are not sure if it will explode right in front of you while bathing. The coffee was of extremely low quality and price of BGN 3.50 for cappuccino. In short, what we received certainly does not justify the price we paid.
I wish success to the team of Balkan Jewel definitely have to work on a lot of things until they can offer a service that fits their category, price and the product they advertise on their site.

Nice apartments, courteous service and a great summer pool.

the room was dirty, with a rag left inside, which is unacceptable. at the reception were utterly unpopular. I do not like the fact that you have to get out of the block to get to the spa. the hotel is trying to show a high class that it is not.

Good for the most part. Rooms have plates and cooking utensils but sheets and towels can be stained. WiFi is bad and the pool is small but for the price it did the trick.

Very nice and clean, big rooms, great breakfast.
For families and friends as well, with cool relaxation areas such as saunas steam rooms, jakuzi, gym and other spa.
So nice experience and we ll surrlly come back!!!

Good hotel. Outdoor and indoor pool. Two saunas, two steam baths. The food is deliciously prepared. The rooms are large and very comfortable. There is a playground, free of charge, billiards and table tennis. The complex also has a gym.

They tried to steal my car in front of the main hotel entrance that has surveillance cameras and permanent security ...
a fucking vacation and dead giveaway, a full day on the police service and to make a pexiglas in glass sticking with duct tape ...
but I was lucky because the following night they stole an Audi A4 and damaged an X5 for theft (he did not start in exchange)

I was very happy with this hotel, until today when in an empty hotel, a very noisy guests have been accomodated next door who were shouting the whole night and we and our baby couldnt sleep. There is nobody at the reception to take action and we are trapped in the room forced to listen to somebody s celebration.

We've been very lucky with this place, the personnel is super chill and easy going. The relax zone is awesome. The nature around is stunning and the mountain is very close as well as view of Vihren. Thanks to the people maintaining the facility!

Overall the hotel is good and the service is at a high level. We were dissatisfied with the extremely low number of electrical outlets in our apartment.

Silent place, clean, helpful team. We had a really good time. We celebrated birthday and got cake to our table. Very recommended and value for money for sure.

Not a 4 star hotel. Broken furniture, missing advertised appliances. Outside door barely holding.

The rooms are clean, tidy and have everything you need to stay. The water in the indoor pool is warm but not very clean. The water in the jacuzzi is too chlorinated and pinches the eyes. The sauna and steam room are very well maintained. But the worst part is the restaurant. The problem is not in the food, but in the staff, which is too small and insufficient. Serving etiquette is missing, I suspect the waiters have not received proper training. The restaurant's lighting is insufficient. The hotel is generally good, but a little more needs to be done at the restaurant. Greetings!

Location is 5 start, beautiful view of the mountain from the spa. Near gold club too, kids friendly. Food was alright. Apartments are clean and spacious.

We had a very pleasant stay with very good service from the hotel staff ... cozy rooms and everyday cleaning of the apartment ... I recommend it unreservedly

I was badly impressed by the maid who burst into the room without knocking or introducing herself ... She just came in, realized there were still people inside, and left without even apologizing. This happened 15 minutes before the time to vacate the room.

There was no receptionist at night.

It's an excellent value for money. There is a decent spa area with an indoor pool, sauna and a gym. The only thing I did not like was the poor selection for the breakfast. It's as if they selected the bare minimum to qualify for a breakfast buffet.

- no air-conditioning for the summer i.e. you have to open the balcony door/window which means that you have to listen to you neighbours talk or breathe their cigarette smoke while you try to sleep because you share the same balcony divided by a wooden grate (yes they can watch you too)
- outside and inside pools are small for the hotel base (despite how they look on the pictures)
- the mattresses of the pool lounge chairs are extremely dirty, making no sense of having them
- as others have reviewed the location of the hotel is in the nothing, so there is no place to visit within a walking distance, so transport is needed for everything self-organized, even for walks
- not baby stroller/wheelchair friendly, stairs eveywhere

The place is nice and clean.but at breakfast you could put some small yogurt pots out corn flakes .some times when stuff ran out took ages to fill it back up.The buffet at night some stuff could go out better choice.no cakes at all jelly or melon at breakfast.you could have large glass of coke or fantastic instead little bottles.

A small pool is otherwise very clean and responsive. The view to Pirin is incredible. We recommend.

The hotel is located 10 km from Bansko.
The bus shuttle bus to the gondola runs only a few times a day, which makes the rest very dark (since the last bus from Bansko leaves at 16:30, and you can ride until 17:30). If you do not have time, then you need to take a taxi. The cost is 40-45 levs (20-25 euros).
As for the hotel: the rooms are very modest, upon arrival it was very cold in the room, then of course it warmed up, but it was unpleasant.

Breakfasts and dinners are very modest.

Think when booking this hotel, it is better to pay extra (the money that you pay for a taxi) for a hotel in the city and everything will be within walking distance.

Not bad hotel and service is good, but it needs more maintenance (some doors are hard to open and close, there are unclean places).

Relatively good hotel which of course needs a lot of upgrades! It consists of room complexes which means that in order to go to the spa you have to go outside in the cold with a bathrobe, and the same procedure for breakfast! The room was clean but not thoroughly clean as it would have been for a 4 star. Spa facilities are provided free of charge with an extra charge, while bathrobes and spa slippers are charged extra! Probably we got in the case because of the 3 days 2 of the spa were down! The heated pool was lukewarm, the sauna and jacuzzi were not frozen !!!! Also there is not enough heating in the spa area so you can cool down there! There was no staff to oversee the situation there, as well as the changing rooms were pretty dirty! The parking lot is around the hotel but there was no problem finding a place simply informing you that they do not take responsibility in the event of a car accident! In general there were not as many employees as needed to do the right thing that a 4 star hotel would have to offer. Breakfast and dinner were good enough but they could have been more varied. Also I didn't like it was one night we didn't like something from the buffet we decided to order and charge the portions, when we called our waiter said that because we were half board we would have to go and order it ourselves. was in the room! For god children! I think my next visit would not be one of my first choices!
