I had gone on trip to turkey, and it was the amazing experience. Their management for the trip was so balanced which made sure we don't miss anything as well as we get the best of the city. So if you want to explore at local level, backpackers is the right place. I am looking forward for more trips with them.
My trip to Eastern Europe was really planned well. Location of the hostels was very central. The activity list as proposed by them was on Point ..
Alithea, our host from the company was really very friendly yet assertive ensuring all the plans are executed well and within timelines.
A small dampener for me was 8 people in a room in one or two hostels. May be I will opt for a max of 4 people in a room the next time (even if I may have to shell a lil more money )
The overall experience was OK. I travelled with them on the Eastern Europe trip in August, it didn't really meet my expectations. I had gone by the reviews they have on Facebook. The actual experience was average. You are better off managing everything on your own and traveling solo, rather then getting stuck with a group who are not really like minded.
Best best experience with the team, they ensure you have a smooth trip and have the vacation you want! The whole team is very well organized and all you got to do is put yourself in their hands and they'll take it from there. All their trips have been undertaken by members of their team as well, so be rest assured that they know what they're doing when they recommend activities, accomodations and local must dos! I've been with The Backpacker Co on two trips, one
to Europe and another to Japan, and looks like I'm going to come back for more adventures with them! I like the way the trips are organized - there is no actual guide on the ground herding you everywhere. Instead I'm given a well thought out itinerary which I can choose to follow, or go explore by myself. I like the independence of traveling solo, but during the past 2 trips with Backpacker Co, I've liked the company of the groups too - safe to say I met them as strangers but parted as very good friends :-) Thank you Backpacker Co! First Europe trip with them. It was simply amazing. Made a lot of friends, some for life. Living arrangements were more or less good. Used it to just just sleep at night and I probably would have done similar hostels myself so can't complain. Overall a very satisfying tour. Why not five stars then? Well saumya(works in the said company) is the reason for that. I'm not sure things would have gone as smoothly as they did , if not for her. It could have easily been 3 stars too. Recommended if you Wana skip the micro planning and just chill.
Worst experience with backpacker , will never plan my future trip with them , they don't care for your comfort at all , all arrangements by their team are worst , their cab facilities are worst , they will leave you on road with your baggage.
They will get you travel with bus facilities for whole night , and in morning you will be having a walking city tour !!! Shocking. , How it's possible???
I want to ask from backpacker office , that if you are not dressed up not even refreshen up , how can you go for walking city tour . Pathetic

I just got back from their Western Europe trip that began at the end of October. I must say The Backpacker Co. wonderfully organised everything; the hostels were great and the local guides they picked for us were exceptional at what they did. The activities also weren t very hectic and jam packed - what I loved about this trip was they gave us a lot of free time and liberty to explore and do what we wanted to on our own. I would definitely recommend going on a holiday with The Backpacker Co.!
Very skeptical about the group trip concept and being absolutely clueless how the other people would be like, I opted for The Backpackers Co (TBC) for their Easter Europe trip held from 15th - 26th Aug 2019.
And I am absolutely glad about my decision. TBC planned it very well, from stay, InterCity transfers,scheduling different activities everyday to sight seeing, suggestions to eat, shop and chill.
It was like no worry for planning and enjoying the vacation to the fullest.
Alithea from TBC our tour guide was very kind to us and she made sure that we don't miss anything.
I made friends among all unknown people and all thanks to TBC for making the trip so amazing and memorable.
I had my first international trip with The Backpacker Co. I did the Eastern Europe 2018 trip with them where I covered four countries. I am really pleased with their overall coordination, planning and the organisation of the trip. We covered major attractions and that too with the kind of liberty one would always look for while travelling. It was an enriching experience as we blended with the locals and got familiar with their traditions.
To summarise, I would say, if I got back all the money I spent on the trip and I were given an option to rethink and spend, I would undoubtedly spend it in the same way, for the same places and with the same organiser. No regrets at all. The only complaint I have for the trip is that it has come to an end

I visited Amsterdam Berlin Prague and Budapest with them. The tour was well organised and surely worth it. It a different experience altogether. The hostels, the pub crawls, the local food everything is simply wow and the Backpacker team of Alithea & Shweta were simply awesome. Planning more trips with them very soon.

The accommodation was in the heart of the city, where you can really feel the bustling vibe of the place, close to hip places of the city . The experiences booked by them were fun and remain the main highlights of my trip. I loved the fact that I never felt alone in the group all the people I met were lovely and we all shared a wonderful vibe with them. The trip was flexible enough for you to explore the city and places on your own terms. You were free to explore all the local food, enjoy the views....
Special thanks to Shweta, a wonderful person, she always met you with a smile and was always available for you whenever in doubt. I would also thanks Alithea for being the wonderful person and helped me whenever I needed.
It won't matter what kind of a traveller you are, be it solo, couple, extroverted or shy, you will find friends here, and great memories to bring back. Highly recommend!
We went to chase the Northern lights! That was the title of our trip.
However, that requires luck, coordination and chase indefinitely till you see it and BACKPACKERS CO did exactly opposite! We saw the lights but, ON OUR OWN (by coordination of 15 people). We drove into the wilderness, deep into the forest and managed to see the lights over a frozen lake! That should have been done by backpackers. What they did was just a dinner with bonfire and waiting in a closed cottage to see them, which was more of a gala dinner with bonfire. We could have done that in delhi as well.!
Biggest flaw was the inexperienced and naive first time coordinator who had no clue, information, planning, knowledge and authority which was sort of a complete mess. The coordinator did absolutely nothing except clicking pictures for backpackers social media handles. For e.g the bus for new year party left more than half of us (including the coordinator) at the hostel while the coordinator was busy clicking pictures.!
All the activities were timed as such, that were unable to use the entire day as they were in the middle of the day. Arctic hotel was done in a hurry just to finish it as a task. We requested to see the glass igloos. They told us that were occupied and the coordinator did not bother to do anything as usual. Nothing exciting was planned for 2 days in helsinki, except the walking tour on second day.
All in all had there been no unity and coordination among the 15 travellers in the group, it would have been a total disaster. Most of the coordination was done amongst ourselves.
Lastly, most important thing that backpackers did NOT do was - CHASING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS!

Had a great time travelling with Backpacker Co to Eastern Europe this September...a fairly good option for somebody travelling solo/in a small group and is looking to be a part of a larger group...they put us up in good (except St. Christopher's in Amsterdam) and centrally located hostels..took care of all the inter city travel (very helpful for first timers)...planned fun day-time city tours and also leave you time to explore the city on your own if you want to...for this particular trip would recommend atleast another day in Budapest since a day and a half is not enough to cover the city....Alithea and Shweta were efficient and professional.
Travelling to the unknown can make you seriously anxious I had a sigh of relief when I found out about The Backpacker Co. The thing is, Backpacking will have its way of putting you in places which you will cherish a lot although sometimes it s a bummer, but that s what makes it authentic! You make new friends, learn new things and so much more The Backpacker Co offers you an adventure and ensures that your basics are taken care completely. First out-of-country, first solo trip, needless to say, I was pretty over the moon!
A friend recommended The Backpacker Co as the Backpacking specialist, and boy was she right!
I decided to visit one of the prettiest countries, Ireland.
The Backpacker Co was with me every step of the way - pre, during and post the trip.
I was a pretty difficult and fussy customer, but they handled all my queries very well.
Needless to say, I had a very smooth journey throughout. The group I was traveling with was super fun, and I ended up making friends for life there!
The tips and information given to me as a first-time traveler came in super-handy, and I was able to enjoy stress-free. They also offered me 24/7 assistance on the trip.

My wife and me took a trip to Finland this December with The Backpacker Co. We wanted a different experience from our standard family vacations. There is a certain kind of "organized" and "ready" we wanted along with the thrill of not knowing. The Backpacker Co provided that. Alithea was our first and only required point of contact. I can be a bit high maintenance, but with all my queries and requests her classic answer would be "I'll take care of it". We were sent all the required information, bookings, confirmations, recommendations etc. way ahead of time to make well informed decisions for our trip.
We met an electric mix of people and had a great experience! The trip was well planned and executed though we had added in few more activities which we got rushed. I'm gonna go ahead and mention Alithea again.... she continued her classic line "I'll take care of it", throughout the trip, while suggesting, making, changing, changing yet again anything, even restaurant reservations, activities...
Her being with us during the trip helped us manage last minute changes in activities due to bad weather, not waste our time, come together as a group and more! She even surprised us all with a hot Kanda Bhajiya one cold night!!! I would even give kudos to Mallika who greatly assisted us in Helsinki.
Now this is what all holidays should be like! Thanks to The Backpacker Co, we couldn't have brought in 2020 in a more remarkable way! Here to many more! Cheers!!!

Travel solo but no alone, leveraging all the advantages of a solo trip with none of its disadvantages. Thebackpackerco exemplifies this concept by providing just the right amount of planning to make the journey smooth and comfortable and yet at the same time, not overburden with activities that would take away the solo backpacking feel.

Travel on your own, you do not need Backpack Co - I have travelled with strangers and people whose passion is travelling. Done travels in India and abroad, and made great friends who are broad minded and have immense exposure and know what travel is and are well read and know how to lead. Backpack Co did a good job with booking the trip but then we land in Berlin and we meet an inexperienced trip lead who In all respect has no knowledge of what international travel is her first travel, immature in handling people's opinions and gets influenced herself which is lack of experience and having no knowledge about destinations and no experience in people handling. The group coordinator was on a holiday of her own and often and rarely did much interaction with her happened not for me but a number of people on the trip....there were occasions when she was late herself and she was a part of her own sub group. Terrible Experience!

Me and my wife went to the Amsterdam Berlin Prague and Budapest tour! Well where can I start , the entire process from booking to co ordinating was seamless ! At the outset I was sceptical about this hostel thing but my wife insisted and also couple of people I knew had travelled with them earlier and were wer praising them so I thought let's do this ! I started the trip with some apprehension but now that the trip is over I want to go back ! They made this tour exceptionally comfortable! Alithea from their team was with us and she is incredible ! Me and my wife went on this amazing trip organized by The Backpacker Co. The trip covered Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague and Budapest during the Christmas and New Year Holidays. It couldnt have got any better than this, since the tour covered every aspect of what makes a journey memorable. It was an amazing time of the year which got better with the impeccable organization by Swetha and Anisha. Initially we were skeptical about the idea of staying in hostels but trust me with the super fun friends we made, it just felt great. Now we are back to reality and it feels hard to adjust to the daily routine of life but that just shows us as to how much fun this trip was for us and I am sure it will be so for anyone who takes the tour with The Backpackers Co.

This was the first time I went on a backpacking trip to Europe & I am so glad that I chose The Backpacker Co to be my travel partner. I had been part of the eastern Europe trip in August and have covered 4 places with them Amsterdam,Berlin, Prague ,Budapest along with 19 other people. All the hostel arrangements and cab transfers were descent.The inclusions of city tour,pub crawls in their package are altogether worth having experiences.They suggest you different local places, restaurants to visit.Our travel buddy Alithea was very co-operative and friendly. Because of her the trip was well organised. The only thing I felt was travelling during day time could have been managed better. Overall it was an awesome experience and I will definately travel with them again

It was my first ever trip outside India . It was a good choice to go with backpacker co. people across India who had come along were awesome . Made good friends .. my suggestion to backpacker is to perform more research on northern lights. I think we kind of missed the right spot. So I would expect you to have more research and ensure that the right spot and time are accurate. Next time , have someone who knows the right place to be in order to see northern lights. Please do add more activity or suggestions.But overall nice hostels in rovaniemi and Helsinki. It was great . Thanks again backpacker

I was part of the Eastern Europe backpacking group in August 2019. I had an amazing trip, the best so far! Still hungover on it! I think what really works well when you travel with the backpacker company is that u meet, stay and party with like-minded people. Alithea was super blending and didn t behave like a typical, dictating tour lead :) She was our go to for anything that we needed to know about the city to explore on our own during our free-time! The list of activities suggested and executed by them were amazing and take you closer to nature with thrilling experiences. I genuinely would recommended this company for your next holiday. I was solo woman traveller, however they provide me detailed information and motivation to join this trip. Made really good friends and we had a blast. Special thanks to Alithea and Anisha for letting me experience the celebration of winter. Just one suggestion, guys please make this trip a little longer .
This is a wonderful way of exploring new places! TBC brings together a group of diverse yet like minded people and plans beautifully crafted itineraries to explore the most amazing cities! Have been on their Eastern Europe trip and can positively vouch for their awesomeness! Well planned & brilliantly executed (by the most amazing tour leader - Alithea), TBC has made it so seamless to just pack your bags and leave !

Had my first solo traveling experience in western Europe through them. They are well organized and I had a great time!! They give you free time to explore on your own apart from the activities arranged by them. The hostels were great. Would definitely recommend them for backpacking experience.
What a wonderful experience of the Adriatic..... Croatia. Nice ambience, cooperative guide, round the clock service and follow up service excellent by Backpacker Co. If there was a rating of 10, I would say giving 20/10 would still be insufficient to praise Backpacker. Looking forward to more such enriching, soul searching experience with Backpacker Co.

The owner of the company Mr.Yogesh calls people for interview and expects the candidate to call them after interview and ask what is the result? Ans would be- we are interviewing more people and by tomorrow will let you know what is the final call. And then there is no tomorrow at all. Highly unprofessional behaviour and have no respect for candidates time.

Had amazing experience travelling to Europe with backpacker. Everything was up to the mark from hostels to city tour to pub crawling , everything was well managed, love the idea of 20 ppl from different lives getting to know each other , definitely looking forward for more trips with them .
I was part of the Western Europe trip with the Backpacker Co. and I must say I had an amazing experience. Its a great idea for solo travellers where you meet strangers in the group but end up as friends with tons of memorable experiences.
Everything was very well organised by Backpacker Co. I liked the hostels as they were centrally located in very much happening places and had very cool clubs. All the guided tours and activities arranged were good and there was enough free time to explore the places on our own. Also at regular intervals the Backpacker Co. would be in your touch and guide the next programme.
I would definitely plan for another trip with the Backpacker Co. and would definitely recommend going on trip with Backpacker Co. to all Solo travellers :))
Had been planning a Europe trip for long when I stumbled upon Backpacker Co. Went to Eastern Europe in June and it was by far the best decision. What I liked about the tour was there wasnt a fixed itinerary. There were recommendations and we were free to do our own things. The best Co. to go with if you want to explore a city on your own yet want to be carefree about your accommodations and intercity travels. And last but not the least a big shout out to Saumya for seamlessly organising things and ensuring that everyone had a good time.

Everything was meticulously planned. And the part i liked the most is that they give us ample time to explore the city alone.
From making a random stranger chug an entire 1L beer in Berlin to dancing randomly on streets in Budapest nothing could be more fun.

Going to an ice-cold place like Finland is really something that was a first. I m glad that the checklist provided by backpacker was really handy and came to use the fullest. Never stayed in hostels before, the atmosphere was very warm and would love to do it again very soon. The itinerary was very planned and thought for, all the activities provided by backpacker was extremely fun. Thanks to Alithea for going out of going out the way for us and be it our wishes or commands she always took care of it. The new year at Helsinki is a night that I cannot forget or a night that I cannot remember I was really skeptical about travelling solo but the group that I travelled with had a really positive vibe and I had a reall great experience with them.
What a epic trip amsterdam to budapest...what a well planned itinary by backpackers..all near by attractions as well as nightlife was covered by backpackers...truley awesome experience traveling with them
I loved the walking tours, the picnic in Yoyogi park, the special surprises the group had in store for us and all the detailed help guides and recommendations. Overall, this group made my first trip to Japan very memorable. Thank you, Backpacker Co.!
