Well, here I am again to say the same!! Jeremy did it again for me and now I am happy driving my third lease from Avis Ford. JZ worked with me as I was turning in my previous lease over a year early. I gifted myself a new 2018 Ford Edge Sport!! I will always go back to Jeremy, he is honest, down to earth and awesome to work with, Thanks again!!!

Love my salesman, Jeremy (JZ), I've now leased my second vehicle from him and couldn't be happier. I actually referred my neighbor to Jeremy and he ended up getting a brand new Fusion.

Wonderful experience! My sales lady Ingrid Henderson was exceptional! Very polite and professional. Ingrid was able to get exactly what I wanted (plus a few extra things) at the price I was able to pay. I was driving off of the lot in my 2017 Escape the same day! Couldn't have asked for anything better. Thanks Ingrid!

My family has leased 5 cars through Avis and with JZ. The nice part about purchasing a car from JZ is that he listens to your needs and gives great recommendations about what Ford Product would best suit you. If they don t have the exact vehicle you want JZ will order it to the exact specifications you want. JZ is a great asset to Avis Ford and the reason we try to come back time and time again for our Ford Products.

I have purchased two cars at Avis Ford with salesman JZ, I received excellent customer service and support. I was not pressure to buy something I didn't want. JZ listen to the type of vehicle I wanted and took time to find the exact car and color I wanted. He is very professional ,honest and has a lot of patience
When I purchased my next car, I will see JZ because I know he will take care of business!!.

JZ is AMAZING! My husband met JZ back in 2012 when he stopped into Avis to ask about some details on a truck he was interested in. JZ was able to provide him the info and he ended up buying his truck from JZ. JZ is a car guy . He knows his stuff and doesn t try and talk you into options or cars you don t need or aren t interested in. He Also does how to videos to help and demonstrate how to use features on your car! We have been with JZ ever since and have even sent family and friends there because he is excellent and is able to answer questions and find you the car you need with no nonsense! Nicole Matt

This dealership is the most poorly run place of business I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My car has been here for over three months. I had to move and the dealership is requiring me to pay my own shipping despite me giving them very concrete dates of when I would be gone and them assuring me they could get me the car by then. Just do not go here. There are other, much better dealerships.

I haven't even been to Avis Ford yet, but just made an appointment with the service department for a Ford-recommended software fix.I read several reviews of Avis Ford before I made this appointment, and was duly impressed. After talking with the lady in the service dept., who was both friendly and knowledgeable, I am looking forward to being as impressed so I can continue with a good review of the service I receive.

in the late 80smy dad bought a brand new 1988 mustang lx and today its july 23rd 2017, my dad still has the car, my favorite part is that today it only has 14,000 miles on it. the car was featured in either 2001 or 2003 in the Mustangs And Fast Fords magazine along with my uncle who has a late 90s mustang and worked at the same place as my dad until 2007, and my god father who is donney walsh and works for a seperate company attached too the same building at walsh motorsports.
all three of those people i mentioned where together in that early magazene. my dad raced his mustang at i dunno what dragstrip, and raced it at waterford hills road racing.

Just ok. Depends on the representative you're in contact with. Some are better at customer service than others. One lady offered rental cars as an option while my car was in for service, only to inform me by email one hour before that they would not be available.

The guy who returned the car to me didn't have any...

The guy who returned the car to me didn't have any PPE on him(no mask, gloves etc). And the car didn't maintain good condition on hygienic. It's concerning with current background.
The service was fine in general and it took a whole week for the service. I had this transmission issue and it took them second check to eventually confirm it.

Great dealer fast & efficient. They got me my car in one day and picked it up the next. Great deal on a new car, they found thousands of dollars in rebates I didn't even know about. I bought my very 1st new car at Avis Ford from the same salesperson over 20yrs ago, and will always call them as my preferred 1st choice for a new Ford.

Asked for more recent photos of the vehicle since they only had a stock photo of the vehicle, gave the salesman my email address. Never heard anything from him. I guess I'll be going to a different dealer since this is how this dealer operates.

Extremely happy with our purchase experience at Avis Ford. Our salesman, Leon Stoudemire, is the best. We followed him to Avis from a previous dealer. He puts extra time and effort into his work to make sure the customer is happy and gets the best deal possible. The greeting staff was very helpful and the dealership is very nice, clean, and easily accessible.

If you want to have a decent professional customer service, do yourself a favour, AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!

The worst customer service from a car dealership. That salesman, James, was rude and deliberately trying to chase me away by asking for my car keys, car registration and so on. He claims it is "company policy". I was never asked such details from any other dealership.
Then he readied the car and asked me how long will I be? I answered 30mins and he started giving me excuses and lots of BS. So I replied, why should I put up with all of these? I demanded all the information he took off me to be returned to me and never contact me again.

I will never step anywhere near that place again. There are plenty of other dealers who wants my business.

Buyer beware. We recently drove 3+ hrs to look at a recent model used car which we were assured by the salesman was in "excellent condition" only to find out the sunroof either leaks or was simply left open causing water damage/stains throughout the interior. Had this simple fact been disclosed during any of our conversations with the sales department, we would NEVER have even bothered to make the trip. Needless to say, we didn't purchase the vehicle.

Then, to rub salt in the wound, I received a letter from their finance department stating they decided they "can not extend vehicle financing to us at this time." ?? So they turned us down for credit for a car we decided NOT to buy? Even though their own denial letter to us states our credit score is 843! SERIOUSLY?!!! I guess our credit score was too HIGH and our income level was too HIGH and our debt-to-income ratio was too LOW for them. And yet their own website touts a guaranteed approval for even "bruised or no credit". Gee, I wonder if that denial of credit had anything to do with the fact I refused to purchase a damaged vehicle from them??

For the record, we recently purchased a 2015 vehicle from another dealer, and of course had NO trouble whatsoever getting financing at the lowest percentage rates available because our credit is so excellent.

Not sure what kind of scam this dealership is running, but AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

I recently got my third car from JZ at Avis Ford. He was able to accommodate all of my needs despite being in a pandemic. The entire process was seamless- JZ was fast with communication and made the process completely stress free. I will definitely be going through him again for my next car!!! Highly recommend his services to everyone.

I have used Avis for my cars for over 30 years. Initially when I worked at Henry Ford Hospital and got my lease cars and service from them. Even after I left HFH I have continued to use Avis because their service has always been good and has kept our cars in good condition. We have also purchased several cars from them for myself, my husband and our kids.
I last went in to the Quick Lane on Saturday April 11. I had their "Maintenance Value Package" at 19000 miles for my 2012 Ford Club van.The oil and filters were changed, brakes and battery were checked, and tires inspected but did not need rotation - and it was all FREE! The people at the counter were polite, friendly and efficient. Even though this is not the closest dealer or service area for me, I plan to continue coming here.

After a few months of owning my vehicle I get a letter in the mail about a class action lawsuit on ford about the "duel clutch" transmission. And unfortunately my car has been effected with the faulty transmission. I have never owned a car with a duel clutch transmission and I knew I'll have to get used to it because it rides like a manual vehicle, but shifts automatically. After some weeks of owning the car I notice how hard the car jerks when shifting and how long it takes to find the right gear when you need the power when passing someone. A few months go buy and that's when I received the class action lawsuit on ford in the mail with my vin number and all my car information on it. I called Avis ford service department and asked them when I can come in to have my transmission repaired. The guy that i spoke with told me that "if your car is not brought in on a tow truck, we can not do anything about it" and that was that. Still my car, 2014 ford focus se is still having problems with the transmission and is even worse now. After i get rid of this car my family and i will never buy another Ford vehicle. There is alot more to be said but i dont want this review to be a novel.
I gave Avis ford 2 stars because the quick service department is excellent and Chuck who sold me the faulty car was excellent.

Friendly staff at service department, but unfortunately the techs lack the necessary knowledge and experience to provide quality service. Avis charged me $116 diagnostic fee on my car, which was still under factory warranty, and wanted another $850 to complete the repair. I hesitated and took to another dealer and had it repaired for no cost. Seems Avis is only wanting increased tickets, they were quick to add on additional items such as tires and brakes to my already $800 quote, topping of my estimated total bill to over $1500 for items that were not needed.

All the employees were very busy (On their cell phones) and couldn t take the time to check customers in. The one lady at the desk would answer the phone then disappear in the back for 10-15 minutes. The one manager at the front desk played on his cell phone the whole time and would not talk to customers.

I finally got checked in and it took over 90 minutes before anybody touched my car. After it was done my paperwork sat on the front desk while the one lady would disappear in the back and the manager would play on his cell phone and not answer any calls or talk to customers.

All in all I was there for 2 hours and it was very frustrating.

We're purchasing from Avis, and happy, with the process, so far. However, I detest certain features. Few front passenger seats are comfortable in any new foreign/domestic model. Ford makes passenger-side 6 or 8-way power seat adjustment exceedingly expensive. Seat comfort should be a basic feature.The same problem with dashboards. Black dashes are ugly and absorb excessive heat. The dash is what people spend hours looking at, not the exterior. Why should we have to look at hearse-color all our in-vehicle hours? Ford, are you saying your vehicles are coffins? The two cars I have most enjoyed over my lifetime had sky-blue interiors inc. the entire dash. Despite being small, cheap and rough-riding, they consistently brought emotional uplift, imprinting powerful fond memories. The Edges/Explorers huge black dashboards are chronic downers. We'll have to find/make a cover for the one we buy. If you want customers to maintain a lifelong positive sense about your vehicles, provide seat comfort and dash color appeal.

I called and was told that the wait would be about an hour and a half. So, I did something else for an hour, then went in. They wrote my car up right away. I walked across the street to do some shopping for about twenty minutes. My car was ready when I returned. There was no charge!!

I just moved to the US from abroad and I went to A...

I just moved to the US from abroad and I went to Avis Ford because they were closest to me. I went in wanting to make a decision between the different models of the 2014 Fiesta. My salesperson was Jerry Flint. I told him about my situation as someone new to the country, with a foreign passport and no credit history. He asked me to submit my documents to check if I would be eligible for financing. After a few days he got back to me to say that I was approved for either a 24 month lease or a purchase.

But Jerry seemed to know nothing about the models I was interested and fed me with misinformation. He showed me a 2013 model telling me it was a 2014 Fiesta S and that what were actually the 2014 S & SE models (which were what I was interested in), according to him, was the 2014 Fiesta ST Titanium (which was beyond my budget). While he was completely ignorant about the models, he was extremely nice and went out of his way to help me by offering to pick me up and drop me from my house (since I didn't have a car), so I decided to do my own research about the cars and stick with him for my purchase. My biggest shock, however, was still to come.

After I had decided on what model I wanted I finalized my insurance and came in to make my down payment and take home the car. After being promised by Jerry that he will pick me up from my house at 9 am on his way to the showroom and after leaving a voicemail at 8 am to confirm that I was ready for him to pick me up, I didn't hear from him till I called him at 10 am wondering what had happened. He simply said that he had a meeting and would pick me up shortly. I waited till 11 am and called again only to be told by him again that he'll pick me up shortly. I waited till 12:30 and then just decided to walk down to the dealership.

When I got there 45 minutes later, I was made to wait for over an hour. After that I was told all the paperwork was ready and I just needed to sign and pay. As I was walking to Jerry's desk from the waiting room he suddenly told me that I was not eligible for financing because I had a foreign driving license (even though I am allowed to drive in Michigan with my driving license). This was after I had told him about my situation as soon as I met him two weeks earlier and had been told by him that I had been approved for financing.

I am now planning to get a Fiat 500 and apply for financing from a credit union (which will not require me to have a US driving license) or go to a different dealership after getting a Michigan license. But I ended up wasting two weeks because of this debacle and now need to make a rushed purchase because I need a car for work.

Heed my advise and avoid this place. They are not interested in helping their customers. I have been here multiple times and every time a walked with a lot less money and a unfixed car.

If you like to be dismissed quickly, try their fast lane. they literally told me If I didn't have an appointment they didn't have time.

2009 Ford Expedition:

1st time. My automatic transmission was not working anymore, they tried different things but I ended up having to replace it with a used one.

2nd: still had transmission oil leaks, but their mechanic just quit so they had no-one to work on my car. Until after a few weeks the same guy was hired back. Then the problem turned out to be a transfer case. I assumed that it was under guarantee as they probably damaged it replacing the transmission. But no, they actually turned it around on me, it was my fault, because I broke the transmission in the first place. And the warranty was only on the used transmissions interior parts. So I had to pay the full amount.

3rd 6 months later again transmission oil leak. You'd think id learned my lesson and avoid this place but I remembered they said I had warranty on the transmission so I figured since I was just within the time, I'd take it there for them to take care of it. It turned out to be a connector sleeve leak in the transmission, But obviously, it still wasn't warranty.. because that was just "normal" wear. $600 to fix (the part cost is ~$25).

4th After I picked up my car. for repair nr3, my engine light kept coming on. And car went into emergy mode, not switching gears. I went back, because obviously they broke it. It took another week before they even had time to look at it, but then they came back with the analysis, the wire harness is broken, on the connector into the transmission. obviously it was NOT warranted because I probably broke it myself a year ago! And as they said. wires get brittle and just break sometimes.

I reminded them of the current Ford commercials about how they make the sturdy trucks, and that my engine is the exact same as in the F150. So I would expect a bit more "sturdiness"

So when they told me that wire harness which was needed to fix this problem was discontinued by the manufacturer I was stunned. They told me they would look for used, but they never got back to me.

I explicitly asked them for a solution to make my car drivable again, because a 9 year old Luxury vehicle from Ford, permanently disabled because of a mere wire breech, sounds a bit ridiculous. I tried it all, even filed an official Ford complaint (reach out for the case nr in case you're interested). But to no resolve, they remained stoic and showed no interest in helping me.

Then I decided to look into it myself (was a mechanic in my previous life).
I took out the connector that goes into the transmission and found it full of oil. The mechanic did a sloppy Job and didn't care to clean up his mess. I ended up cleaning out all the oil from the connector. and voila, problems solved. My car drove again, beautifully after being grounded for weeks, because of those incompetent greeds.

I went back to show them the pictures off the flooded connector and demanded an explanation. How can they tell me to write off my car, or how would they sell me a very expensive wire harness, due to sloppy mechanics. Obviously they didn't own up to their responsibility. I asked for money back.

Jim asked me to send him the pictures, and promised me he would get back to me. (3 months ago, still haven't heard from him)

PLEASE STAY AWAY!!

They helped me understand one thing. I will NEVER buy a Ford again.

My fiance was here today for a recall and an oil change. He was assured when he leased his vehicle, by his sales rep, that as long as he asked for him, he would never pay for an oil change. The woman who works in the service department, where he went to pay for said oil change, was rude and condescending. When he went to her to pay, she was enjoying a beverage through a straw that was obviously more important than acknowledging the customer in front of her. He had to actually ask her if that is where he needed to pay, even though it so obviously was, and she responded with a snarky "Uh yeah". She had nothing but attitude with her responses and when he asked her where he needed to pick up his truck, she replied "Uh, behind you where it says Pick-Up".

The majority of us work in some type of customer service field and I know that if anyone in my company EVER spoke to a customer that way, let alone a LEASE CUSTOMER who has the potential of being a return customer, not only would they be placed on probation but they would be required to undergo training. Clearly she shouldn't be interacting with the public as she seems to lack basic common decency. Overall, the experience was frustrating and upsetting for him, as he felt that he was treated like absolute dirt and NOT as a valued customer.
