I had a great experience at the dealership they really worked with me to get a car and worked with me on the down-payment as well. At the time it was really hard for me and my family to get from place to place. But Mr. Steward and his Boss really help my family out and there it's enough words to say thank you both for all you did for us. My God's blessing and peace be with you both.

My experience at Avis Ford (2/9/16) was WONDERFUL! With me not purchasing a vehicle in 16 years, my salesperson, Mr. Dave Garcia, was quite friendly and knowledgeable! I actually enjoyed myself at Avis Ford. "Work with me Dave" can get you out of the door with a new vehicle within 2 1/2 hours.
Horrible company. The sales staff in the pre owned department are extremely rude. Today when in I walked in I was ready and prepared to purchase a vehicle and actually drive it off the lot. The acted annoyed by me walking in and asking about cars, as if I was an inconvenience. And then began asking about my personal financial situation in the middle of the lobby in front of other customers. Their loss. Because I immediately walked out and went next door to the kia dealership and bought a brand new optima! Your loss Avis Ford...

I love my sales lady Ingrid Henderson she is a super nice lady. She sends birthday cards, thank you cards, and will follow up with you to make sure you don t go over your mileage at the end of your lease. However, my experience with my second vehicle is terrible. I leased a 2018 Ford Escape in Feb 2018. At 508 my vehicle had an oil leak and the dealership had to replace the engine. Last month, I had another oil leak and services and parts replaced the cap because it was missing. Finally, on Thursday my vehicle stopped on me on my way to work in the middle of the road in Pontiac, Michigan. I receive a phone call from services and parts only to say it s my transmission. Thanks to this vehicle I now understand (Found On Road Dead) this almost happen to me. I thank God I wasn t on the freeway and it didn t cause an accident. At this point, I want out of my 3 year lease and I want nothing to do with Ford.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They answer all of your questions and I had plenty of them. The staff is very informative and knowledgeable about the cars and products. Parys Liddell is the greatest. He won't try to put you in anything just to get your money. He takes his time, listen to what you want and does his best to work with you. He has great customer service and very reliable!

The personnel at Avis Ford in Southfield are very friendly and helpful. I have worked with Iris Johnson and had a very pleasant experience. He took time and gave me options to buy my Escape based on my budget limitations. He took me on a golf cart to show several vehicles and even provided cold bottled water on a very hot day -- other Ford dealers will send you to a water fountain at a far away place from new car parking lot -:(.

Recently I had to take my 2012 Focus to Ford. This is the 3rd time I've taken it for the same recall. This time the customer service was awful. Every question I asked was an "I don't know when that'll be available." And they seemed to irritated that I was back with my car again. As if I was happy to be back, having multiple acceleration issues, or to be stranded on the side of the road. When they did call and tell me my car was ready I stood almost 40 minutes waiting for it to come out. And it still seems like the part they replaced isn't up to par, but they said I have to drive 1000 miles to break it in. I feel like I'm being given the run around.
I almost bought a used Ford 500 from Avid Ford a few years back and the sales man tried to change the deal on me last minute, very shady Sales Staff! Don't trust Avis Ford, I go to another Ford Dealership.
I recently bought my first new car from Avis Ford. My salesperson, Frank C, was really good, he talks a lot and quickly but he listens very well too. I did lots of research on models and rates before I went in and he took plenty of time explaining all the details of leasing vs. buying. I'm a recent college grad so I qualified for a Ford incentive and another rebate for choosing the Focus. Frank asked me what my priorities were and in the end made buying my first car very enjoyable. I understand why everyone talks about loving the new car smell now! I dealt with Bill Green in finance and even though it took a while to finish all the paperwork, he took care to point out anything I might not be familiar with (which was pretty much all of it) and explain all the many pieces that needed to be signed. Including warranty coverage and the different packages. I was a bit confused by an appearance package and the cost, especially since the car I wanted came from another dealership originally, but I didn't really want that so they took care of it for me. So far I love my new Focus and before I drove away with it, another person from the dealership explained how to use Sync for me and how to add saved locations. I'm still figuring out all the settings. My only complaint is that I don't seem to be able to charge my iPhone through the USB connection.
Had the material on my driver interior door trim panel separate at the window opening. Had just recently switched my Explorer Sport lease to a buy because I'd finally found the SUV I truly like and want to keep for a while. Bought the premium "bumper to bumper" extended warranty to protect myself past the factory 36K (b 2 b) warranty. Just so happens this door trim decides to malfunction during the same week of my expiring 36K warranty. I take it into Avis for replacement /repair, only to find out that Bumper to Bumper extended warranty doesn't cover trim pieces. WTH!! I flipped out. Once I finally calmed down, to actually hear my service manager and service representative on a resolution, they went to work on getting the issue fixed. First attempts were repair; couldn't get it back to class A. Next steps was replacement. Then the Vendor issues started. They were shipped a bad order part, then the part was on back order, next was failed promised deliveries. All the while the AVIS service department kept me informed and apologetic for what was out of both of our controls. While Avis had my Explorer, they always provided me with complimentary loaner vehicles to bridge any transportation issues. When I got the call that my truck was ready, my service rep assured me all was well and to come and pick it up at my convenience. Though the experience was beyond anyone's control, AVIS was always very professional, personal and pleasant. My experiences (oil changes, service/repair, buy/lease cars) have always been good at AVIS Ford. At Avis you leave feeling good about the relationship and they always (always) give "First Class Customer Service/Satisfaction". I always tell my colleagues about AVIS and go to see my sales guy (Gary Addley) or my service manager (Jon Richardson) because the relationship and experiences have always been good, honest, knowledgeable and genuine. Walking in the door (every time) the atmosphere is friendly and wanting to help you. Mr.Douglas your team is awesome, keep up the good work!!
Got a remote start installed here. I am very pleased with the service. I think they did a fine job. Now my car is nice and toasty for the winter time. This makes all the difference. I no longer have to sit in a cold car, wasting my time for the engine to heat up before driving off. Man I love convenience. Worth every penny. There are those few times when I thought I activated it and then it turned out not to be the case. That can be irritating. Nevertheless, big up yourself Avis Ford.
I was looking to buy a new F-350 Super Duty and wanted a 8ft bed Crew Cab. Went in and talked with a dealer (For the life of me can't remember his name) I was 17 of the time i wanted to buy the truck. Was going to pay in full. I own a property management company and needed a truck for snowplowing and heavy towing. The sales rep treated me like a was a freaking child. I was very upset that he did not take this sale seriously. He was saying (Its a lot of money you know, and are you sure you want to buy this? Will your parents be financing this for you or paying in full for you?) I think he thought that i was just yanking his chain wanting to see whats its like to buy a "Big boy purchase" Instead I took my business to Dean Sellers in Troy. The guy that i worked with there was treating me like long time best friend or family member. Bought my new truck paid for it and off i was all within 4 days (needed to find the truck i wanted, than delivery). The only Reason I give this place two stars in because i needed an Oil change and this was the only place open on a Saturday (Only day off from work).
Darrell was extremely kind and helpful. He went above and beyond with his advice and knowledge. The experience that he has with communicating really helped. I'm satisfied with the patience he had with us. We got exactly what we were looking for and we love our new vehicle.

My personal rep was new and didn't know what to do. BUT the manager, Roy Williams, was the most rude person I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with. I don't know why he has a phone if he won't answer it, he wasn't giving clear answers to my sales person, and no one knew what was going on. He is a horrible person to work with.
Most of the people at Avis Ford are really nice and I have dealt with them for a long time. I have always purchased but this time was considering leasing. The young man in the leasing department was rude and very quick with me. I will NOT be dealing with him ever again!
We recently obtained a lease on a Ford Escape from a Avis Ford. Our sales person was Lou Marchesi. Lou was a great guy to work with: he listened to our requirements carefully, came up with some choices that met those requirements, and helped us tweak them until we found something that was a good match. At every juncture he went out of his way to help. Once we got the car he spent a lot of time with us helping configure it, providing helpful tips and checking up to make sure things were going well. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and professional. Count us as very happy customers.

We were so satisfied with the service we received on our request to turn in our lease car and purchase a new car to replace it. The response we received from JZ to our e-mail to Avis Ford was prompt and resulted in our purchasing a 2015 Taurus. When we picked it up JZ went over all the features with us, programed our phones and made sure we had no question. All, in all, a very satisfactory experience.

I came in to get a tire replaced because I have a Ford Lease with a tire protection plan. First, the man was a little sarcastic and told me I looked worried and I should go back out and try coming in here a little happier because Jesus had my back and I shouldn't be worried (super annoying when people joke with you when you're stressed out). Then they told me that this particular Quick Lanes was unable to honor the warranty because they didn't like getting paid 2 days later when they did the work that day. I bought the warranty through Ford so I'm not sure why a Ford owned place can't honor my warranty. This place is really close for me but I'll never bring my car to them again. I'll drive the extra half an hour to go to the Quick Lanes on Van Dyke. I've never had a bad experience with them.
Since 2010, we have leased 6 vehicles through JZ at Avis Ford. We will not use any one else. Jeremy knows exactly how to conduct seamless transactions from ordering a new car to remote signing.

Had taken my vehicle in for a coolant leak, later that afternoon Al in service called to inform me that I needed a water pump, was quoted the price and wasn't too thrilled about the cost but, rather pay that amount instead of paying for a new engine. I gave Al the go ahead to have the service performed. W picked my vehicle up that Friday and drove home; the vehicle ran better than it ever had since I've owned it. Great job to the service technician who performed the work. Also a big shout out to Big Al and John in the service department always a great experience with these gentlemen.
I brought my daughter in for her first purchase. After research and visiting two other dealers, we ended up at Avis. We were originally looking for new cars, but a little Fiesta on the used lot caught our attention. Greg came out and was extremely helpful. He didn't try to up-sale or take advantage and he didn't treat us like "females who don't know anything." One of my brand new wheels that I ordered straight from the factory was chipped in a couple places because the warehouse employees don't know how to handle other people's property with care. When I asked to get a new wheel or have the chips repaired, my sales guy said it's not covered and is now avoiding my calls. Now I'm stuck with a "brand new" wheel with deep enough chips to get nice and rusty very fast.

Quicklane is great, but the service department is seriously lacking. 3 day wait to even look at a vehicle with a powertrain issue, and the people in the service department have a serious attitude problem. Best advice they give if you need service is to take it somewhere else.
I had inquired online about a 2017 Ford Explorer on a Friday. Jason Grose responded very quickly and gave me all of the information that I wanted. He was able to have me into the dealership next day to test drive it. We were able to configure numbers and he worked hard to find me all of the rebates possible. He got me a great deal on the explorer. He worked hard to get the car I wanted from another dealership and I was able to pick it up the following Wednesday. I was also trying to terminate my prior lease early. He helped guide me to complete that process as well. I am so grateful for Jason and the experience I had with him at Avis Ford.

I had the misfortune of speaking to one of your service reps, didn't get a name but it was a female. Be advised , this female had the personally of a wet paper bag. You only get one chance to make a good first impression. Rest assure I will share this experience with family and co-workers and will suggest they avoid Avis Ford Service at all cost. The date of my call with this service rep was 5-31-2018 at approximately 10:00 am.
Today September 3, 2019 was my first experience with Avis Ford. The service receptionist Irene was soooooo helpful, she had all the answers I needed; even recommended an outstanding tow service. The quick oil change service advisor Tonia was honest with the wait time, pleasant in checking me in, texting me details, securing for me transportation to and from dealership and very kind at check out. The transportation gentleman Greg was patient, safe, personable and provided excellent door to door service. My Edge was repaired sooner than estimated time (the service and oil change areas were packed, yet the staff got it done) and under warranty. Bravo Avis Ford for your excellent staff at all levels representing this dealership!!! I will be back.
I put a call in to Lou Marchesi to keep an eye out for a good deal for me as my lease would be up in May. December 7 th he called me with a Sign and Drive deal and various rebates -- one which I didn't expect for company recall issues on my previous car. Somebody is listening! Great Service/Performance.

Needed my tire sensor set to"learn". They took me in the quick change dept immediately, reset the indicator and reset the tires (activated "re- learn"), and even reset oil change light... no charge in and out.
What an amazing experience. I leased 5 vehicles since I'm in USA, VW (2), Mazda (1), Audi (1) and Ford (1). Every experience was just ok. But Lawrence Bridges and his team are phenomenal. I sent an online request in the morning through their website for a 2019 Edge I really liked and had all the options I wanted. I was working with another dealership that told me that this particular vehicle was at AVIS FORD but had a deposit on it (so unavailable). But I tried anyway, and just few moments later I was on the phone with Lawrence getting few details on the vehicle availability (it was indeed available with no deposits on it...), he scheduled an appointment for 4pm and I drove back the car home that same night. I love the fact that they had the car pulled up right in front of the door for me to see. It is the first time I walk out of a dealership without having the feeling that I have overpaid or I have been taken advantage off. Lawrence went above and beyond to make sure that I get all the incentives available at that time. To be honest my situation wasn't the easiest, over millage on my lease, 2 payments left... but they took care of everything without any issues... I definitely recommend Avis Ford! Thanks guys.
I had my 2012 vehicle serviced at this location recently. Felicia did a really nice job. Great customer service, and they fixed the 4WD issue I was having with my vehicle. I will go to this location for service again in the future.
