It is a wonderful service that can only be said to be Disney.
The view of the world is unified, and it is a place like a theme park even though it is a hotel.

It takes less than an hour from Waikiki.
Except for the neighboring Four Seasons Hotel and a few restaurants, there isn't much around, so it might be a little inconvenient for a long stay.
But I still think it's worth a visit.
Great service, fun attractions, limited goods that can only be purchased here. All are attractive.

Had a 1 bdrm villa, nice but pretty standard at all Disney properties. This location isn't convenient to anything. Transport to and from Honolulu is pricey, excursions by Disney to do anything is expensive. A mixed drink is $15, a beer is almost $10, w/o tip! We're DVC members and the points we had to use for the week were not worth it. Overall a nice place but next time we'll be in Honolulu for less money.

Hotel was just beautiful, however after visiting 6 times over the years I find out now that my family has grown they charge for my 19 and 22 year old, this is the dumbest thing I have herd as the adult kids don't even want to be there as they don't use any of the facilities they are out golfing, shopping, exploring and hiking. The are not even occupying space on the facility only in the room. The room is still a perfect size for our family, with this discrimination I feel it would be better to take your family else ware unless you have little ones. I use to tell people this Hotel was great for all ages, well I lied, Sorry!

We were staying at the Four Seasons and wanted to check out Aulani Disney Resort. We went over and had drinks at the bar. Service was great and will probably be staying there on our next visit.

My family is a DVC member and had a vacation for a week in a family suite. The service qas incredible and the rooms were very nice. The pools were well kept and it was nice having a seperate pool and bar for adults. Room and bell service was on point and brought whatevwr we needed in a short time after it was called in.

We had an amazing time at Aulani! Aside from a few outings across the island we found ourselves content at the resort. Between Auntie's beach house and the amazing pools our daughter was extremely happy. The fitness room was nice plus there were beach fitness classes every day. Lots of on site water activities available for a fee. The dining options at the resort and nearby were excellent. We rented a car for our stay so we were able to stock up on breakfast & snack items at the local Target (5 minutes away).
The views from our villa were gorgeous! The staff was warm and welcoming. Accommodations were lovely. There were some Disney characters but not overdone. We will be back...not soon enough.

Great place for family (Ohana) fun. They have many activities for children and some for Adults. The only thing they need to improve is Wifi and that's surprising because of the power of this company. Overall it's a great place to visit especially if you have younger children. Had a great time. Mahalo!

The peak at the beginning of August is crowded, and this isn't good. And the buffet is below average. It's a shame because it doesn't compare with ambassadors in Tokyo, for example. Anyway, it didn't reach all TDR levels, and it was disappointing that the shop was too small while requiring so many boxes. The child was pleased, but there was no repeat for the time being.

Awesome. Best SPA--must visit. Free childcare 3-12 at auntie's...my kids loved it and begged to back! Perfect beach...no sandals needed. Water park is great. Buffets required reservations.

We are vacation club members, and own a 1 bedroom suite. ..recommend to all to join...rooms are awesome. ..everything on resort is pricey but which one isn't. ..there are somewhat lower prices at a small mall across the street, walking distance. The resort does have it all. Great rooms, service and a private beach. Beach activities . Sailing, snorkling, paddle surfing..all here

My family and I had a great time at Aulani. They had a great beach and also great trails to run. This is the greatest resort in Hawaii for a family.i wish Disney would build a resort on another Island because this island is my least favorite. Overall a great trip. The kids club is great

Greeted every step of the way; as soon as you walked into the Hotel and by the pool area. Everyone is super friendly and if you have any questions all cast members are willing to help. The pool and beach are SUPER RELAXING! Food was amazing. There is a spot called the monkey pod across the street for additional food. The scent in the hotel makes you feel at home and vacation. When you talk to a Disney Vacation Club cast member, you don't feel pressured.

Disney level service and attention to detail. Family oriented. Fun. Everything there has a price premium though. Not just at resort but even complex across the street. Even when we've gone in peak times and it's fully booked, the resort never seems crowded which is wonderful!

Great for the kids, plus some opportunities for reprieve for the adults.a little disorganized at the front desk... They double booked us for a room that was already occupied, an awkward entry ensued... and when they fixed it they neglected to add parking privileges to the new key, resulting in 45m to finally get into our room. Other than that, an outstanding visit for the remainder of the week.

Beautiful grounds, very well kept, good vibes and energy from the staff (Cast Members). Pricey yes, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Great decision to come here, no regrets, top notch...

Amazing hotel resort for an individual, couple's, and families. Very clean and attention to detail can be seen everywhere. Perfect rooms. Disney does a good job of being mostly subtle with their branding throughout the hotel, you know you're at a Disney hotel but it's not too in your face to be annoying. Very accommodating and friendly staff.

Water costs $4, pool chairs are GONE by 8am (when the pool opens- GET MORE CHAIRS!) and the food everywhere (one restaurant is closed due to Covid) is like cafeteria food (except more expensive) and for some reason, the most frustrating experience is that the umbrellas/pool/beach chairs are all zip-tied together so you can t move them as the sun moves!

A beautiful resort. Lots of good restaurants and the staff is very nice. The pools are amazing and the ocean is very calm in their little cove. Tons of amenities. Everything is expensive even for Hawaii prices.

My friend and I went to Aulani for a spa day at Laniwai. We checked in an hour early and took advantage of the facilities. When we arrived we were greeted and checked in very quickly. Everyone was extremely polite and made it an excellent experience. We walked through a hallway and made a wish on a stone and threw it into the pond. We were given a tour of the facilities. They made a special bath scrub for us. When we changed into the robes we were given we weny out to the pools, rainfall showers and hot tub. When it was time for our massage, they found us and told us to get ready. We were taken to our rooms on time for the massage. I got the pohaku lomi massage which was a massage with hot stones. It really helped with soothing my body. The massage therapist was very professional and it was amazing. When the massage was done we went back out to enjoy the pools, showers, steam room, and sauna. We left so our validation wouldn't run out...they validate for 4 hours. When we were leaving we were presented with a special bath salt that matched the stone we tossed into the pond.

Pros: fantastic staff, especially one man named June. Goods kids club and fun pool slides. Bathroom is great, especially the shower. Greeting with a lei is really special. Beach is great with enough chairs. Walk to Paradise cove beach when there, it was beautiful,go early. Room was always cleaned so nicely. Studio was great but thought we would have used the microwave more. The photopass for 99$ is totally worth it if you have more than a couple photos. Premium experience,Luau(VIP), and character dinner buffet were amazing and also worth the cost. Store cast members were all so friendly. Bed was so comfortable, we all fell right to sleep every night. We even met some really friendly people who were staying on the property.

Cons: over priced food, refillable cups are a scam and wish I realized before I bought one for each of us, there is no way to track who is filling up what drinks, could have just brought my own cup which I saw a lot of people doing. Wish there was a spot inside hotel to fill up the 19 dollar cups, especially for at night or early am with coffee/tea. Pools could have been cleaner for a Disney resort. If you have ever been on a Disney cruise you may be a little too spoiled like us and expect more. More chairs needed at the pool or an expansion of pool area somehow. The slope/step in area near the tube in the little kids section needs to be adjusted. Its a liability for you. I fell just walking and either spoke with or witnessed other people falling in that same area. Pictures after luau and character meals are a tad expensive but you get talked in to buying because other wise they just go in the garbage.

I'm super glad we spent 4 days of our vacation here and if they add more pool/outdoor area/things to do we will be back but other than that we feel we had an awesome experience but wouldn't feel the need to go back due to the cost.

great

Love, love, love Aulani Resort Banquet facilities and resort. EXCELLENT banquet facilities for smaller groups, wish they could accommodate larger groups. Amazing cast members, always professional, supportive and helpful. Held many conferences here, return each year fornthe past 9 years.

The character breakfast is extremely good allergy friendly. The chef took me on a tour to show me what foods my kiddos could/couldn t eat and made some items custom to their dietary needs.

Had high expectations of Aulani based upon numerous visits to other Disney properties however was disappointed. Reception staff was more interested in up-selling not simply registering us so we could get to your rooms. Room decor was dated and furniture not in good condition. Food quality was inconsistent, especially food served at the pool. All in all, we wished we had made a different selection.

Magical! Loved everything about this Resort. Beautiful views everywhere you turn. Infinity pools and they also have two infinity spas for 18 and over. They have plenty of kid pools and toddler pool areas. Lots of things for kids to do.A must on anyone's bucket list! Very clean very safe even during the pandemic. Everyone wore a mask and you were able to take it off when you went into the pools, water slides, lazy river, they just asked for you to wear them as you transition or walk through the public areas but you could have them off when you are swimming at the beach swimming, and eating. All the food and drinks ordered were great and tasty. Across the street from the resort they also have some shopping, grocery market, Starbucks, aloha rolls ice cream and pizza store at walking distance from the resort. Great place for families and adults.

We always look forward to staying at Aulani as both the adults and kids are able to enjoy themselves. They have made changes over the few years they have been open...some good and others not as great.

Aulani opened with stingrays and the performance area facing the sea. We were able to see the stingrays up close but for a fee, visitors were able to wade with them. I was told that the stingrays were given to another facility because they weren't doing that well in such shallow water that was always exposed to the sun. Anyway, that area is now the Rainbow Reef pool and the performance area is behind the Ewa towers.

The Starlit Hui performance used to be free...you just had to arrive early for a closer seat. Now it's packaged with a luau and you have to pay for this premium experience. :-(

They also added more eateries and so the Ulu Cafe is a great spot, not only to refill your drinks with the Aulani mug, but for breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The hot items are reasonable for a resort...but beware...you will pay a ridiculous amount for prepackaged cereal.

In the middle of all of the swimming areas is are two "shacks" where you can buy food or shave ice. They used to have hot dogs, chicken strips and fries. It as now changes to coconut shrimp, fish chips, chicken strips and fries. Fortunately, the fries are still great! They also added a few picnic tables so that you can eat there. This used to be a problem because we would buy food and have nowhere to eat.

For those that like to shop, there's items at Kalepa's store which are great for souvenirs. If you like upscale items, diagonally across is a store where they have the Dooney and Burke handbags and Pandora charms. Very pretty.

While I have not personally gone to the spa, many love it and make it a point to book their services. There's also a small bit nice and clean 24 hour gym for those that didn't get all their exercise time in the pool or ocean.

There's more activities and services...but you might want to either call and inquire or visit the website. Hope this helps! :-)

This resort has always been one of my all-time favorites. I always seem to find myself coming back to Aulani year after year. I immediately feel at home as soon as I am greeted with a lei and walk through the breathtaking main entrance. This hotel never fails to exceed my expectations and is definitely my go-to vacation spot!

A good resort with children

A good resort with children
A good gift for children because they have many things to see
Most of the restaurants in the inn are closed at 9:00 pm There is not much food outside

Especially recommended if you like Disney.

Especially recommended if you like Disney.
Anyway, the character greeting is available only for hotel guests. Or rather, only Japanese people are lined up.
The schedule is also decided, so you can prepare for the character you want. However, depending on the character, once a day, you may miss it unless you check it in the morning.
If you buy a free refill mug at the pool, you can spend all day comfortably.
Also, there are a lot of merchandise and they are splurged. If you want to differentiate souvenirs from Honolulu, we recommend purchasing at Aulani.
However, if you don't like Disney, it's not so fun, so I highly recommend that you go there.
DVC members have many benefits, so it is best to go after you become a DVC.
In addition, self-parking does not require a parking lot, so it is easy to spend.
Enjoy at least 2 nights.
