We stayed for ten days. I would definitely recommend having a car to explore the island. There are few choices within quick walking distance but plenty within a short drive. There are daily activities for just about everyone in the family. It highlights the Hawaiian culture more than the Disney brand, but there is still a Disney presence. It is tough to get lounge chairs except on the beach area. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back.

If you're a disney fan, have children and just want to have R&R without being in Waikiki, this is the place to be. Aunty's beach house keeps the children occupied so the adults can enjoy some alone time. Only downside is there isn't enough places to eat at for dinner. I wish there were at least 2 restaurants to choose from. Otherwise, the lazy river and pools are awesome! Not a big fan of the towel policy though.

Being a member is by far the greatest here at Aulani. I have come back here 3 times and it is always awesome. The staff makes every moment great and they open up to share local spots that you can explore. This is truly a place you have to visit.

The lagoon sometimes gets green, but is always inviting. They have a lot of activities on the beach also.

Don't pay for the vacation package! Unbeknownst to us, Disney uses third party Ernst the customer support is poorly trained. In addition, they have no control over what three airlines decides to do.

We had two little kids and made our reservations many months ahead just to make sure we were able to selects next to our kids. We had email confirmation of our reserved airline seats but when 24 hour check-in was available, our reserved seats were no longer available and worse, they scattered my family members every where but next to each other.

My young kids were seated by themselves as well as my wife and I. I called up Disney to request to resolve this and all they can say is, it's out of their control and that I have to call up the airline to see if they can change seats back to how we had original made reservation for.

What's the point of paying Disney for s FAMILY vacation package when they don't even control or have an arrangement with the airline to honor their reservations. You can't decide to change seat arrangements around and have young children seated by themselves for a 5-hour flight; idiotic.

This ruin our family vacation.

Excellent hospitality and friendly staff. Beautiful views and grounds. Only issue was with the Alamo Car Rental Service. After a day of excursions off site guest services could not start our car to park it. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our evening plans due to not wanting to risk being stuck. Guest services at Alamo didnt handle the situation very professionally. Was not happy with being inconvenienced. But all in all a very fabulous and relaxing vacation. Lots of activities and food options. We will be back.

Visited their restaurant for brunch, the food is epic it includes and omelette bar, assortment of breakfast foods (Iron Man pancakes, Eggs Benedict, Bacon, Salmon/Caper and more). Pluto and goofy goes around greeting everyone too so it's funny too. You definitely pay the buffet price though but you get entertainment with it.

Great experience with the facility and the staff. The pool area gets hectic/crowded early. If you show up after 10am, don't expect to find any lounge chairs.

Rainbow Reef is awesome for beginner snorkeling. Great way for young kids to experience snorkeling without the dangers of open ocean.

The luau performance is fantastic along with the food.

The kids had a wonderful time.

This place has amazing babysitters Club for free and like a water park with slides and lazy river. However, the staff service hasn't been as nice as it was when they first opened. A little sad to see a decline in services.

We didn t stay at the resort but we ended up there by getting into a public park and I am very glad we did that. It was relaxing place to sit and take a break from the busy running around vacation.

Disney has always delivered the BEST service, no matter where I encounter them, whether it's at one of the parks, shops, or Aulani. Rooms are clean and spacious and comfortable. Food choices are numerous and always delicious. Cast members are always impeccable in their appearance, attitude, and service. Love staying at Aulani!

Overall amenities are good, but concierge staff is unfriendly. When you inquire about various facilities and services, you are only toss to the other, and there is no staff to provide practical help.

The hotel is located at a very nice ocean front. Perfect for summer vacation with lots of water activities and easy access to the beach. The hotel has lots of activities for everyone. The hotel room is roomy and comfy as well.

Great rooms, pool and dining. Book a room on the south tower facing the garden and enjoy the luau from your rooms balcony. Make sure you use the kids club and enjoy some time at the adults only pool and jacuzzi!

I will say it is a beautiful place. Super friendly people like most of Hawaii. The prices of everything are Disney inflated. 20 bucks for 2 beers. The buffet was excellent and all the food was good. Plus everything closes down early.

Great for kids... Great for adults... The House of Mouse got it right. Everyone on site is focus on making sure that you have an amazing time. Kids will leave believing the magic is real and so will the adults. My second time here and it won't be the last.

It's a Disney resort, expensive, but you get what you pay for. The food in particular is very good, as are the pools. Avoid the on resort beach which is in a little artificial cove that is filled with sunscreen from all the tourists.

Omg, if I could go back right now I would. Hands down best vacation spot I ve ever been to, and the island of Oahu is an amazing location. The hotel is beautiful, all the activities are tons of fun, and the food is to die for. Highly recommend!

1. The resort is mostly frequently by Japanese tourists. These are very nice people, but if you want to make friends you will need to speak Japanese!
2. The snorkeling pool is EXTREMELY COLD. It needs to be for the fishes, but it's tough to tolerate for some.
3. No beverages in the lazy river at all. This can make it hard to keep your family hydrated if you're trying to relax on a sunny day. You have to keep getting out to drink water.
4. Kid's club is only open until 9pm, which is a shame, because it's a great place and kids love it. This essentially means no romantic adult time. Disney cruises have kids clubs until midnight which is great for parents needing a break.

Great resort for families with kids. Staff is very helpful! Note that the former Marriott resort just to the north started a full renovation on 3/9/2015... Which was half way thru our stay in a room facing that hotel. Definitely couldn't ignore the construction noise. Best to request a room not on the north side facing north. Apparently after the renovation it will become a Four Seasons.

My only complaint is how early the pools and bars close. Kids splash pads stop running at 5pm. Bar near the adults pool closes at 8pm. All pools are closed by 10pm. I also don't like how expensive everything is but that's expected at a resort.

Compared to expensive prices, convenience (restaurants, laundry rooms, etc.)
It's not entirely cool.
Ko Olina Lagoon is also comparable to Waikiki.
I made a reservation for my son, but if I catch the accommodation again, I'll find another place.

Insanely expensive. Food is ok. Restrooms are too far from most of the pools. So many surfaces are dangerous and slippery. I watched several people fall. "Last call" for service at the cabanas was 4:40pm. The wi-fi is horrendous. Come on Disney! We know you're ruthlessly cheap, but how much would it cost to actually have high-speed Internet for your high-paying guests?

My girlfriend and I went to eat at the buffet for valentine's day. It was 4/5 as some of the items were a bit dry, mainly the crab leg dishes. I was craving some crab legs and butter, but they didn't have butter and the crabs were dry. Still, the buffet was worth it. I went hard on their Asian food and desserts!! At about $50 a plate, and my lady not being a buffet warrior, I'm sure I ate our money's worth!! The service was excellent as well! As for the resort, we got pineapple pina coladas, and watched the sunset and it was absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend the resort over Waikiki beach! There's water parks for the kids, and lazy river for the family, and bars for the adults! Wish we could stay there for a weekend, but it's a bit over my budget, since I live in Waikiki and pay Waikiki rent! Aulani resort is the closest thing they have to a Disney themed park and it did not upset. You gotta check it out even if you're just visiting the park, they'll let you park for free up to 4 hours. Just need validation!

Really nice hotel inside and out, but the inside smells soooo good like coconut or something. Right next to one of the beach laguns, its a bit pricey bit im not sure if all the hotels are or just this one because its disney.people do dress up as some characters wich is nice and they have a buffet. a few shops around but no stores at a walking distance the next shopping center is at a distance bit nice also.
