For what you pay i expected more. The room would not get cold. We had maintenance there several times till we gave up. The resort was nice, but so is every resort in that area of the island. The food/buffet was mediocre. Would probably not go back there and try somewhere else next time.

Sadly disappointed. Lazy river closed due to water testing for 2 days. Pools and whirlpools were way too crowded. The water in the other pools was cloudy and a layer of murky oily floating on top. Honestly, I believe something was off with their water filtration system for ALL pools. Having worked at many pools and waterparks, I have seen good, bad and... Paths around pools were dirty and slippery. Our suite available at 4pm. Walked into a tired, dark room with dirty worn carpet. Called housekeeping to clean up the smell from the toilet. They came promptly. 3 stars given because our 4 yr old LOVED Aunty's Beach House. Staff and service were top notch. Unfortunately the amenities and accommodations ultimately set us packing early.

Rooms are nice, we got the 2 room suite with kitchen and laundry. Very expensive for resort, if u love to swim this is the place. If your expecting to see Disney characters walking around this is not the place.

Super conflicted, Disney is all about taking your money while leaving a smile on your face. Unfortunately they go a little too far at Aulani with overpriced activities and food that doesn t match the image. Luau food was a sad sad joke (I mean without redemption sad). Now as a hotel even at 800$ a night for the location, pools, beach, and Aunties club house it was well worth it. Just steer clear of the extras that just fall flat. Oh if you don t have small children don t bother unless you just love the Disney.

P.S. luau is all about Hawaii culture and pride, yet the cooks disrespected the pig/food with how they prepared it and in my opinion disrespected Hawaiian culture.

I would rate 0 but that option is not available. The room was dirty. The bathtub was dirty the wall had molding behind the round makeup mirror the door to the bathroom was dusty. I went to the front desk to ask if they could clean it because of my allergies to dust I even had her look at the pictures I had on my phone of the problems in the room, the lady at the front desk said she couldn t do anything about it because that was a concern for housekeeping. We stayed at the resort from July 19 through the 23rd worst experience ever.

Very beautiful luxury resort in northern part of Oahu. There are several amenities and is a very good place for the kids as it is owned by Disney and designed with several kid friendly themed areas. They also have 4 lagoons with one of them having public access. Plenty of water activities such as Paddle Boarding, snorkeling, swimming can be done in the beautiful lagoons accessible through the resort.

You will have to pay expensive accommodations, but the good pool and friendly staff are the advantages. The rooms are clean and well equipped with amenity, and a microwave and sink are available for simple meals. However, the lack of frequent housekeeping and room making was inconvenient, and the distance from the main tourist attractions made it unfortunate that I had to spend time and address only within the resort. The advantage of free parking.

We have just completed our first night at Aulani and so far the resort has met all of our high expectations and then some. Aunties beach house is amazing with our 3 yr old daughter. The pools and lazy rover rival those of water parks but with a bit of luxury. We definitely recommend a return visit.

This place was amazing! While my wife and I did not stay here, we were excited just to walk around the resort for the day, shop, and even hung out on the beach! We also ran into our favorite boys!! We will definitely come back to stay next time!!

Greeted every step of the way; as soon as you walked into the Hotel and by the pool area. Everyone is super friendly and if you have any questions all cast members are willing to help. The pool and beach are SUPER RELAXING! Food was amazing. There is a spot called the monkey pod across the street for additional food. The scent in the hotel makes you feel at home and vacation. When you talk to a Disney Vacation Club cast member, you don't feel pressured.

Aulani's amenities and service are world-class. From the moment we pulled up to valet, we felt like VIPs. As we exited our cars, we were warmly greeted and gifted traditional leis and spa water.

From there, we changed and enjoyed the beach front and amazing swimming pools. Kids can check out sand toys and other fun stuff during your stay. Children 3+ get access to Aunty's Beach House, which provides kids with an endless supply of toys, costumes, and more.

Aulani is a beautiful resort. Pools, water slides, a lazy river and a water play structure are just some of the great features of the resort. And the beach with the calm cove to enjoy means that you have lots of options for enjoying your time in the sun. I look forward to our next visit.

Great experience all around. Being our 2nd visit, we had a better understanding of all the amenities available and how to maximize their uses. Spending 11 nights there also helped to pace ourselves and relax.

Really nice resort in a nice area. Definitely child oriented but there is an adult pool and bar. It is really expensive though. Cheapest place to eat in the resort is the little cafe by the pools. The best option is to get a room with a kitchen and cook your own meals sometimes. The kitchen we had was well stocked with a dishwasher, oven, and full size fridge with plenty of counter space for cooking.

Good

This is an amazing place for a family vacation. Not only the resort has the quality and service that you would expect from a Disney resort but the infrastructure, from pools to water slides to the beach are of the maximum standards. I strongly recommend this place if you have young kids.

Room was not ready when we arrived, then our keys didn't work. Half way in to our stay our keys stopped working again so we had to get them redone. Food was expensive for what you get. Ama ama was the best food at the resort by far and had great views. Highly recommend that you eat there during your stay

The rates at this resort are really expensive but it's a fun experience for the whole family. It's Disney + Hawaiian culture. There are multiple pools to hang out in, a lazy river where you float on a tube, 2 slides, and a kids only play area. If you stay during the week, it's quiet and you'll have lots of options for the lounge chairs. On the weekends, this place is packed with tourist and locals. Unless you have someone in the family come down to save lounge chairs in the morning, you'll have no luck later in the day.

Disney photo pass is totally worth the money if you make sure to flag down the photographers often ;)

Resort is great. Kids had fun at aunty's beach house but preferred swimming to spending too much time there. Meals there (as reported by my kids) were presented as a limited buffet. So if your kids are big eaters, seems like the cost (10 bucks per meal mer child) is good compared to some of the other options on the resort. Note you must pre-register for meals each morning. Line up early!

Because I wanted to relax a bit more during our stay at Aulani I didn't schedule our days so I missed a lot of activities I wanted to try but we spent the majority of our time at the pools/beach/lazy river. #noregrets

Great place for a nice relaxing time with family. Everything is on site. Not near Waikiki but you get more of a scenic view. The kids will keep you at the pool all day which is fine, there is also a bar and various places to eat.

I thought this was average for the price. My daughter (9) loved the Aunty's beach house
My husband and son (14) would have preferred the Four Seasons next door. We went in early November when the lagoon was closed but I still found it crowded. The most frustrating thing was the beautiful infinity pool filled with tons of children. If you want to entertain the kids this is great but if you need some adult time or peace and quiet this is not the place.

I loved my stay at Aulani. We had a great time at the pool and beach. Our accommodations were great for our group of seven. We really enjoyed the dinner at the Makahiki buffet. The cast members were always very nice.
My only downside would probably be that it is far away from other places on Oahu but we understood that going there.

Otherwise it was fantastic!

There is less rain than Waikiki and it is in a sunny area, so you can enjoy it without worrying about the weather. There is a way to compare it with the Tokyo Disney Resort, but I think it is nonsense. This is a place to go back to my home called Aulani as a member of Ohana as a guest rather than to come and enjoy it as a guest.

Aulani is amazing. We own DVC and it's the only place we want to stay on Ohau. The view is stunning, even from a parking lot view I'm not disappointed. Pools are great (a few too many kids for my liking) but none the less amazing. Build another one Disney, maybe on the big island ;)

It's a great place if you're with a family with kids, otherwise go next store to the Four Seasons for a way better room. And stay away from the lobby restaurant, they charge $18 for 8 pieces of the worst sushi ever.

Really nice outdoor environment, the pools are amazing. Food overall is over priced especially Ulu cafe.

Food is expensive and doesn't taste good. Rooms are nice. Pool facilities are super nice. Water is warm. Lazy river is the perfect length to relax. There are a few adult only pools. There is a private beach.

You can take pictures with Mickey and others in the character greeting. We also recommend sunset photos on the beach.
In the character greeting, you can hear which character appears at what time and where in the morning of the day by an automatic telephone response. You can buy the data that you have taken with the photo pass together with the data, or you can take it with your smartphone.

From arrival to departure, it was a magical experience!

You must get an ocean view room and not the partial ocean view or garden view. It's worth the upgrade. See the view from my stay here.

Avoid a room on the lobby/3rd floor. There's so many people arriving and departing that I imagine it might be too noisy in these rooms.

Go for valet parking because it cost the same as self parking ($37) but make sure to tip.

The staff is lovely! They are super friendly, polite and professional.

This is not the place for you if you don't do a bit of planning. Make your reservations to restaurants & activities well in advance.

There's live music nightly which I found relaxing. It can be heard throughout the resort but is not distracting or annoying when you shut your sliding door.

This is beautiful Disney Resort with an incredible pool area. There are slides, infinity pools and caves on the lazy river. The beach is very calm here. However, this is not for Thrill Seekers. There are no decent waves in this area.

We are big fan of Disney, as of now we visited 6 Disney resorts. Each resort is unique in its way and have its own activities.

Aulani is very family oriented resort with lots of activities. Let me explain some of the activities.

1. Disney has its own lagoon and also its own pool for snorkeling. My son never snorkeled before so he went in pool and enjoyed it so much that he went in three more times in a day. He wants to take another vacation to do more snorkeling.
2. Family Activities are another great way to spend time. Together we drew Disney character, learned to play Ukulele which was lots of fun.
3. Room was very spacious, clean and great service.

There is lot of say but Disney does great job and we always enjoy it
