Loved the staff, the hotel and all the activities that they have available for children! It is one of the best hotels I've been to! My favourite part was the character breakfast and characters walking around. The resort photographers were also great to have and they got great photos of my baby. Will definitely be going back.

As one of Hawaii's most acclaimed resorts, the hotel has won numerous awards, including number one in Best Guest Services.

Oahu
Away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki,
In the Coriona district on the reward side
There is.
(Coriona is a fun place in Hawaiian)

Aulani Resort has a flowing pool, slider, heated whirlpool, infinity pool, pool that only 18 years old and over can enter, etc.
From a hotel that stands around them
There is even a beautiful private beach that you can see
A dreamy resort hotel.

In a different atmosphere at night
You can take a fantastic walk.

The room is a Hawaiian quilt bed
Of course, the towels placed on top are arranged in the shape of Mickey

And ...
Hidden Mickey in bed, have you found it yet?

Spacious and Polynesian resort style
You can enjoy your vacation.

Bathroom and bedroom
You can see each other from the windows that can be opened and closed.
I'm happy with children

The front of the main room is a kitchenette.

There is also a dining table
Not only long-term stay
Food allergies
Even for people who are vegan and have dietary limits
As expected it can be handled.

In the resort, not only many pools
There is also a spa facility.

Aulani is the happiest place on Oahu, Hawaii. I live in Oahu already but just a weekend getaway at Aulani makes me feel I'm in a totally different place. So much activities for all ages. Will definitely be staying there again.

Perhaps the worst resort experience I have ever ha...

Perhaps the worst resort experience I have ever had. Sure, the staff was very nice and friendly - but as I suspected... the Disney money vacuum was ever-present throughout our entire trip. I have been visiting Disney resorts since early 2000 s, and let me tell you - back when we first started visiting these Disney properties, the prices were high, but reasonably high. You expect to pay a premium when visiting resorts like Disney, but those premium prices provided a quality product all around. However, during our trip to Disney World in 2012... things changed. Maybe the recession had something to do with it... maybe they needed to address their bottom line... or Disney executives needed to get richer... but from our trip in 2010 to the 2012 trip - prices skyrocketed. Also, their attitude changed from making guests happy to screw the guest . When we were at the magic kingdom, just before the light parade, I went to get some cotton candy for my daughters. After waiting in line for over 20 minutes, I was told they could not make any more cotton candy. WHAT?! Disney can t make any more cotton candy?! This is something that they make on a daily basis and should never run out of!!! My only other alternative was Cracker Jack... and stupid me, I pretty much expected a BOX of Cracker Jack... but well... it s Disney, so I paid $4 for a little package of Cracker Jack - the size that is like the size of the package of peanuts they hand out on airplane fights for free. Anyhow, I sidetracked. Apologies. I don t like complaining and I ve never written a review for anything like this... but for the amount of money that went into this stay... and come to think of it... all the stays we have had at Disney in the past decade... I feel that I should say something so that people will realize just how badly Disney picks your pockets, doesn t care at all about you, and then ships you off, cause there are hundreds of new oblivious people strolling in the door to have all their hard earned money sucked up by the Disney vacuum. Disney does provide a nice, clean and friendly environment... never less than impressive. Rooms are nice, everything seems clean... people are friendly... but I must tell you all... never, NEVER NEVER spend a dime on any food, drink or merchandise that these resorts offer. If something typically costs $5, expect to pay around $25 for it. Their markup is insane. When staying at the Disney Aulani resort in Oahu Hawaii, My wife and I went down to the pool area to have a drink at Off The Hook - which is a cabana type theme... basically an over-glorified and majorly over- priced concession stand. Despite my apprehension to ordering anything from this place, my wife really wanted a Mai-Tai... so this was the place to go on property. The cost per Mai Tai you ask? $15. I expected as much, but I also expected a decent drink for that amount. Take note I said decent . We received 12 ounce plastic cups that looked like Mai-Tais... they had a slice of pineapple and a Hawaiian flower for garnish. Yet... It tasted like bitter, watered down iced tea without any alcohol in it. We were planning to stay for another round or two and have a snack, but after a couple tastes of that Mai-Tai we had to go. We left and took a walk around the property... and I just could not get it out of my head that Disney just ripped us off again!! So when we got back to our room, I called guest services to explain it, but they said they could not do anything about it - REALLY? They said they d have the manager call me back to discuss it. I still have not heard from The Manager . Also, I wanted to hit the hot tub downstairs, but it closes at 8:00pm. So I m paying thousands of dollars to stay here and you close the pool at 8?! 8 o clock?! THIS ISN T A BEST WESTERN!!! Yet the money vacuum sucks... and this will be my absolute last time at any Disney resort... and if you haven t been at a Disney resort yet - do not make it your first.

It brings my heart great sadness how the Aulani Disney Resort has limited public beach access to locals. Having 10 public parking spaces does NOT constitute public access. Shame on you Disney! Shame on you

Simply put, this is one of the best beach resorts you will ever visit, especially for families. The lagoon is protected from the waves and fun for swimming. Boogie board rentals are free. So is essentially daycare and activities for kids. The lazy river, slides, pools, and adults only hottub make this feel like a mini water park right on the beach. The beach itself has tons of free chairs, and you can order drinks there to have them brought right to you. My family is all adults and we love this place, but it would be even more amazing for families with children because there are so many ways to keep the kids entertained literally all day - and cast members to watch them if you want to go do something for a bit with just the adults.

Aulani is just beautiful. We stayed in a very spacious 2 bedroom villa with 8 people (it sleeps 9) and didn't feel crowded at all. The resort offers lots of free activities, including movie night, a luau, and yoga on the beach in the morning. An itinerary is provided each day. The food is pricey so we purchased groceries to prepare meals breakfast and dinner. If you are going to plan any off property activities or excursions I recommend setting all that up at home before your vacation starts.

AMAZING service! Perhaps it's my lack of experience with high end hotel service that made this so spectacular. I cant think of a negative thing to say. From the moment we were greeted at the check in with friendly faces to the moment we check out. The whole experience was overwhelming and amazing.

So I live in Orlando and can compare Disney on-property resorts to my experience at Aulani. First, if enjoying the island is not high on your priority list, save the airfare and book at the Polynesian Resort in Orlando. Second, the food choices were mostly overpriced and fried. WiFi is a joke at the hotel. Take note of additional costs for children s crafts, and basically everything they market to you as available as there will be an additional charge. Lastly, make sure you book a car in advance from Alamo. They were out of cars when I was there.

This is an amazing resort! We stayed for our 15th wedding anniversary and were welcomed with Lei s and special commemorative buttons. All of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful experience. All areas of the resort are kept spotless and the interior is scented with an inviting aroma. We found our room to be very comfortable. There are many fun activities the whole family can enjoy. Despite the off-season construction, we enjoyed the amenities that remained open such as their infinity pool, lazy river and water slide. To our surprise we found that while under water in the pool you could hear the sounds of ocean wildlife such as whales and dolphins. We enjoyed the seclusion of the lagoon and beach that the resort resides on. Overall, with the wonderful weather, our stay was magical.

Great (and expensive) family resort. The food on premises is expensive, so frequent trips to the shopping area next to the resort is smart. There are some low-cost restaurants there. Note: A taxi from Aulani to Target is a flat rate of $15 both ways, and you can get to the airport by taxi for around $50. Talk to the taxi wranglers at the gate. They'll hook you up.

I guess it doesn't get 5 stars cuz I only saw one Disney character. We live on the island and since we weren't guests here, it was sort of a disappointment where we could go and what we could do. Also, many of the food places were closed and the entire center of the courtyard was being remodeled. Lulu's did have a good special on pizza. You got a lot for $25. It is a pretty hotel, but overall, for a Disney experience, the place was very average. Come to think of it, with the usual high Disney expectations, I am wondering why I gave it 4 stars and not 3. I would not book this place. I'll stick with Disneyland several times a year.....

Absolutely fantastic resort! Right from the second you pull up to the valet, you're enveloped into the magical world of Disney. Every single cast member that you come across is friendly and happy to help. The quality of the theming is Disney park standard and the rooms are beautiful. The pool area is outstanding! There are many different types of pools - both for kids and adults. I cannot fault my stay in a single way and I cannot wait to return!

Very expensive, super busy, but could not be a better setup for young children. The lazy River and water slides are a huge hit, and they even have built-in daycare and children's activities at Aunty's beach house. Food is overpriced and very mediocre at the Ulu Cafe.

The best vacation I ve ever had. Honestly haven t been on that many, but a year later and we still talk about it with stars in our eyes. Worth every single expensive penny it costs. Full disclosure, we didn t leave the resort for offsite fun. We figured if we were paying that much to stay there, we wanted our money s worth. We plan on going back, but extending the vacation a few days and moving to a hotel by North Beach to try out all the island fun.

We skipped the reservations at the nicer restaurants and did the little cafe onsite, room service, and the cluster of markets down the street. We also didn t have any small children with us so the character dining wasn t as much of a want . But ohhhh did we meet some characters! There was a great schedule of who would be where, and we were always able to show up early and get in line. So cool, and my kid loved it.

We spent most of our time in the lazy river (legit like 2 days straight from morning to evening) as that was our favourite part. Trying to find a place to leave our stuff was impossible, so I m glad we just had our room key and phones in protective sleeves. We just headed upstairs once in awhile to use the restroom, and reapply sunscreen.

Whatever you do, don t skip the shaved ice. It s in the shape of a Mickey head and they ll add condensed milk if you want it. So fun, and so yummy. Also made for some super cute pics.

Speaking of pics: Don t skip the opportunity for pictures on the beach at sunset, but do it the first night you re there. We made the mistake of waiting a few days, and were a bit sunkissed so our faces looked bright red in the photos. Not a big deal but a smidge of advice for someone else.

Ahhh, I could go on for days but nobody wants to read that ish, so just go. Your magical vacation awaits.

I didn t stay here, but I did visit the outdoor bar and lounge area.

This is a really cool place to come to watch the sunset over the lagoon and have a few drinks, and even a good place to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July.

Do you want a pina colada served in a real pineapple? Get here early - they start serving them early and can run out by 6:30 - even on a Sunday night. They have two different bars, so if one of them is out, walk a little ways to the other bar and check with them.

They have a REALLY chill two person band playing and singing some laid back Hawaiian tunes. It was so chill, and I loved it! When the two person band goes on break after it gets dark, walk over to the right just a little bit and listen to some Hawaiian storytelling around a huge fire pit.

Given the high cost we had high hopes for this resort. The water slides and pools were great. However the food and service was not (especially on the beach where we rented a Cabana and waited for 2.5 hours to order and get our food / drinks). We were also disappointed with the limited number of interactions we had with characters over our 5 day stay, even at the character breakfast / dinner!! We had to ask for Goofy to come to our table multiple times until he finally stopped by for 30 seconds to take a picture.

I was also surprised by the lame attitude of their unfriendly staff. Disney may not be known for good food, but I'd always loved how friendly the staff is; but not here.

A place where you can meet Disney characters in Hawaii.
Minnie-chan, Pluto, and Goofy feel like they will stay in the same space all the time.
Mickey can be taken with the person who made the restaurant reservation.

Really good experience, even in the off season and a fair amount of rain blowing through. The resort itself is amazing. Lots of amenities, lots of things to do with kids- a menehune hunt, all of the pools, Auntie's Beach House. It's all worth it. Every penny. The staff are all amazing- not a single person who wasn't happy or helpful.

The only downside- the food. The Ulu cafe do OK and the trip we got had one meal per person per day included. Worked well especially for breakfast but very limited hot food options. Makahini the buffet- was really good especially for a buffet and we ate there twice for character meals. 'Ama 'Ama is the real reason I downgrade from 5 star review. For what we paid for meals there (and we ate there twice)- they should really invest in a sous chef. The meals are unimaginative and uninspired. But they cost a lot. The pork shoulder is average. My wife once ordered a pasta- no sauce. Basil was a main ingredient in the description- minimal basil, tons of arugula. What the heck? A pleasant surprise- the luau had by far the best food we ate there. (And a great performance to boot!)

In the end, all is good. Get your photopass the first day and use it as much as you can. Be forewarned- the character meal photos are NOT included - you have to pay AGAIN, after paying for the character meal. And take advantage of the market across the way- the drinks are good and they're not shy with the booze, but they are pricey- use the market to supplement your beer and wine. :)

Plan on just enjoying your days in the sun, get a chair early. They have a great system that will be sure that people just don't plant towels and walk away. A serious problem at other resorts we've stayed at. The waterslides and pools are great, and heated! Listen for the dolphins and whales underwater in the infinity pool. Meet the characters during photo ops or just walking around. But remember- it's a resort with Disney touches. Not Disneyland on a beach! In any case, it's still a magical place!
