Worth the cost. Stayed at two bedroom Villa. Some of the cost was offset by shopping across the street and using the full kitchen. It all has a lot of social distancing and is very clean. They changed in order to keep almost all their activities due to COVID but it s still a nice Disney expected experience.

I booked a poolside garden view but most of my view is leaves on the trees. I don't know that it is worth more points or money. They put the accessible rooms on low floors but just because you need a wheelchair or cane doesn't mean you can't take the elevator to the top floor and have a great view. I was hoping for more Disney theming but find it lacking. It doesn't have that "I'm home" feeling you get when you are at Walt Disney World DVC resorts. Food is expensive and when they seat you on the patio, it is cold before it reaches your mouth.

There is nothing bad to say about Aulani. It s the perfect marriage of Disney and Hawaii. No matter your age there s something you can find of interest. The food is great. The staff is all phenomenal. We ve been a few times just to visit and eat at a restaurant for a special occasion.

3 doldoen peongpeong children cried in front of the ice cream shop. The ice cream I ordered was not what the child wanted. But it was too big to make one more again. I was sitting on a nearby bench and trying to soothe them, but the staff handed me the ice cream that the child wanted. It was a gift. Which can only happen Disney story ... except the breakfast quality and satisfaction!

Very accommodating and having access to Aunty's Beach House makes it worth the extra cost. The area is the quieter side of the island so expect some driving if you're planning on exploring the island. The place probably could be more "Disney", other than the occasional character out for their 15 min photo op, the resort would be difficult to be recognized as a Disney resort.

Nicest of the DVC resorts. I've been to them all. Hawaii meets a chill Disney. Service generally meets Disney high standards. There is interesting people watching, maybe an understatement. The lagoon is very well architected to allow families to enjoy the ocean but in calm waters. The pools are full of families, which we love but when you can get away from the kids, the Four Seasons next door welcomes Aulani guests with open arms.. In summary, it's a very special family resort that we highly recommend to those with young ones.

Visitor visit. Breakfast buffet at Makahiki Restaurant. As we made reservation, it is smooth. Mickey and commemorative photo taken at the side of the restaurant entrance! Wait for a while in the waiting area and guide to the seat. It was not a terrace seat but it was good near the buffet. There is also an event taking place and it is lively. Minnie and Goofy also came to the seat on the day, so they took a photo. It's a lot of fun.

It's what to be expected of a Disney resort. A little overpriced but excellent service, quality everything plus a little Disney magic. My wife and I went without kids and were a little worried but there is an adults only pool and plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The lazy river is great and the small lagoon is a nice change. Would recommend going off site for dinner.

Got woken up first day while napping with the baby, apparently they don't honor the room occupied signs. Also, they made a big deal about it being room occupied and not do not disturb without especially clear language to indicate the difference. Another day, someone came to the door twice asking if we had called for help with our safe. Despite us leaving a note in the door to not disturb.

Attended character brunch to celebrate daughter's 6th birthday. There is a good mix of hawaii inspired, international dishes in the buffet with a few Disney themed foods and an omelet station. The food overall is decent, but the real reason to attend the brunch was the Disney characters and interactive activities for the kids. The characters and kids will sing and dance and have fun throughout the morning. The characters walk around and visit every table with many photo ops. There were 3 different characters there and I'm not sure if they rotate on different seating times or days of the week. Excellent service and uber friendly cast members. Pricey but great experience.

The breakfast buffet was better the second time around, 3 years later. I still think it's overpriced but your paying for the experience which is good as always. When you check in they find you a ticket so your party can take a picture with Mickey. Goofy, Minnie, and Aunty will keep you and your kids entertained if you're having a dull conversation or keeping your face in your phone. I went in with low expectations and came out willing to come back. Thanks Aulani!

Didn't stay here, just walked through the lobby and around the grounds. It is a beautiful place, in the typical Disney made up fashion. Very busy with lots of people but wonderful location and also typical great service.

Very family friendly, staff is happy to help with any needs that may arrise. Rooms are extremely quiet and both my 6 month old and toddler had not had any trouble sleeping here. Large pool complex keeps the water areas from feeling overcrowded even on busy days. Relaxing walking path along the beach is easy to access and great for letting little ones roam. Food prices on the property are high as one might expect of Disney but affordable meal options are within walking distance, and the in room mini fridge is big enough to accommodate a fair amount of easy breakfast and lunch items.

What can really be said that you don't already know... Fantastic service, friendly staff, great food, and a lot of things to do. Some pools are under construction but we were compensated without asking. Disney is always thinking a few steps ahead.

It is very family orientated and my wife and I were given the five star treatment even though we were celebrating a birthday. They took very good care and made sure my wife and I were blown away at how great of an experience it was

It feels silly rating such an amazing resort. I know it's reputation doesn't need me, but we had such an amazing vacation there. I really didn't have a ton of expectations. I knew it was under construction, but that didn't even matter. Everything was so perfect and with the same Disney magic as all of the other Disney resorts I've been to. It was super kid friendly obviously, but not too much that adults couldn't enjoy it too. Not only did we enjoy it, it was downright incredible and definitely one of the top places we've ever stayed. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. I actually cried leaving!

Aulani is one of my favorite resorts. It's a Disney property but they don't shove Mickey down your throat which I appreciate very much. I dig Mickey but it's nice to visit a Disney property without so much Mickey directly in my face. The rooms are comfortable & cozy. In my experience the service is impeccable. It can be a little pricey but that's to be expected from Disney resort in Hawaii. I highly recommend Aulani.

Stayed here for a week around peak Spring Break time. If you are a Disney fan, this is the perfect place to stay. The resort has tons of activities for kids of all ages like crafts, movies, character meet and greets, and swimming in one of their many pools.

It is catered to ages 5-13ish but I had no problem finding things to do for older ages. The food is a bit on the pricey side but not much more than any other restraunt on the island would be with the exception of the many fast food restaurants around.

If you are looking for a fun, beautiful place in the hawaiian isles, this place is great- especially if you have kiddos. Just keep in mind you're going to need a little more spending money than you may be used to

This is the nicest resort we've ever stayed at! We've been to numerous resorts, most of them Disney, but Disney pulled out all the strings when they built this one. The pool is amazing! We spent many hours on the lazy river and water slides. Not only are the rooms amazing, but the ocean views are hard to beat. They also have a snorkeling pool in the pool area with amazing corals and fish. They have so many activities that they isn't any reason to leave the resort. This is a resort I would recommend to everyone!

Just checked in. It s late, nothing is open. Told to use vending machines for nourishment, they only have drinks in them. Tried a couple of them and they don t accept bills. Let s see if the stay here gets better.

Everything is really expensive but I know that since it's a resort, and it's in Hawaii, it should be expected. For the price, it should be a little less for a night. Not much else you can do, other than water activities, unless you're willing to spend some money. Other than that, it's Disney, so everything accommodates to the guest. Very clean, nice resort, and the beach is beautiful. Just wish areas didn't close so early. 8pm for most areas.

We enjoyed brunch on a Saturday morning and had FANTASTIC service. I am a vegetarian and notified the hostess before we were seated. Upon sitting down, a chef came out and offered to make a special plate of vegetarian fried rice for me, and I accepted (he also offered to walk me through the buffet to get acquainted with which items were vegetarian friendly, but I declined). It was the best fried rice I think I've ever had, and I was very impressed that they took initiative to offer to make me something special. I never would have asked for something additional on my own but the fried rice made all the difference for me! Such great service! They also put on a little show for the kids that they seemed to enjoy, and the characters were a hoot. Even though we only had adults with us the characters were pretty entertaining... Goofy snuck up on my husband and then later, right when we were taking a photo with him, he covered my face with his hand as a joke. It ended up being my favorite photo! We had a great meal and a great experience overall.
