I stayed at Augusta Marriott at the convention center in Augusta Georgia last weekend for a karate tournament at first when we got there the room appeared to be nice we came in late Friday afternoon and we checked out 7 a.m. on Sunday morning by the time I arrived back home I had bites all over my upper chest and shoulder. In further examination of the bites they appear to be bed bug bites. It has been 9 days since I stayed there I still have these bites they are still extremely red sore and i have a rash. I am extremely disappointed with this hotel I would not recommend it to anybody. I was in room 703.

I've stayed at the hotel a few times and really enjoy it. The rooms are updated and have cool features like being able to use your Netflix on the TV. The bath soap also smells amazing. On my most recent stay the bed was badly in need of replacement, but otherwise I had a wonderful time.

Over the years I have attended a series of conferences at this location. The staff is always been such a phenomenal job. Hotel and convention center is very clean, well organized, and comfortable. The staff are generous kind and helpful. While I have never stayed here, I would not hesitate to do so

Beautiful location, the room we were in had been redesigned and was amazing. One of the nicest we have stayed in, it was very modern with a great bed and TV. We loved the proximity to downtown and the river walk, additionally we loved the pool area. Would love to stay here again if we ever pass back through.

Honestly, great place to stay but the management lacks professionalism. One of the managers, was a complete jerk to the women staff and got away with it. Stay there but know that they treat their employees with little respect.

I did not venture away from the conference area so I cannot attest to other services. However, the staff friendly and professional, and willing to provide information about what dining opportunities were nearby.

Too many reasons to type why this hotel is the worst we ve stayed at. The rooms are terribly dirty, white comforter stained yellow, the blow dryers don t work, the staff is less than friendly and the beds arent made. We did not receive new towels, valet takes forever. All around the worst hotel in Augusta.

I was disappointed by my stay. I needed to use the internet. The business center was pay by the minute and the Wi-Fi in the hotel was so slow it was unusable. My room was nice but the hallway needed new paint.

We had an excellent brunch while visiting my cousin & her husband. They had a decent spread of fruits, bacon & susages. There were cereals, oatmeal, nuts & raisins, bagels, sweetbreads & waffles. The chef prepared omelets of your choice. Service was outstanding. We had wine & drinks after moving to the bar to watch the Ravens (my team) vs SF 49ers. Ravens won which conclude an awesome outing. Highly recommend whenever you're in Augusta.

Good location on the boardwalk, but pools are very small. The outdoor pool is only 3 ft deep and tiny. The indoor pool goes to 5 ft but is old looking and small too. The hot tub is by the indoor pool. Both pools are on the suite side. The suites side is good for kids and families. Stayed in the main side and did not see many kids. We felt like it could have been cleaner though. Restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast...earned another star for review. Checked out a day early and went somewhere else that had a better pool.

*UPDATE: According to the owner's response, we missed the big pool by the main tower. I wished that we had found it. A housekeeping associate and the phone operator directed us to the suites tower for the pools and said those were the only ones they had. We did not see another pool, and we did not stop at the front desk to ask for clarification. I changed the review to 4 stars. It is not fair to ding the property for the pool when it turns out we missed the bigger pool. Thanks to the owner for letting me know. We will keep that in mind when we return to Augusta.

Fantastic hotel and staff. The rooms are spotless and the location can't be beat. The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants. If you stay on the weekend make sure to look for the open market a few blocks away.

I usually don t leave reviews very often but the staff here is among the nicest I ve encountered in my 400+ nights in a Marriott. Room is what you d expect, decent location, have to pay 7$ for parking, etc. but the staff is what gave this hotel 5 stars and is what would make me choose this hotel again.

It's a really really big room with a pretty cool staircase/viewing platform connected to the hotel, which has a bunch of conference rooms in some somewhat disorienting hallways. Hang extra signs. Not sure if those rooms are part of the convention center or not.

Loved this hotel for our 2-day event. Convention center had lots of flexibility and easily accommodated the group of approx. 150. Plenty of breakout rooms amd really responsive A/V team made everything work seamlessly. Not your typical boring ballrooms and long corridors with local art displayed, the meeting space overlooks the river and big windows with sheer drapes let in natural sunlight. You can step out of a session and enjoy the brick river walk. My sleeping room was slick and modern, clean and comfortable. Easy access to outlets all over and Netflix on the TV made it so easy to get comfortable quickly. My only complaint is that the bathroom mirror is lit by fluorescent lights. I still have not come to terms with what I saw in the mirror last night after my 2 hour drive. Terrifying. I would go back to this hotel gladly (but I'll brush my teeth in the dark).

Very very disappointed. Was here for a conference. The food was horrible. We had fried chicken for lunch and it tasted like they fried it then refrigerate it and then heated it up to serve to us. The salmon tasted freezer burnt. The peanuts they offered for snacks were stale! The room was dirty. The sheets look like a couple of people slept on them.. It looked dingy. The floor was dusty the shower curtain smell up whole bathroom. I had to ask for a new shower curtain to rid of the smell. Oh and there was mildew on the curtain. For the name and cost of this hotel....extremely disappointed extremely
