Great location right on the river, easy onsite parking and access to downtown. Our room was recently renovated and nicely appointed. Just wish the Starbucks in the lobby had longer hours.

Nice, updated rooms. Clean but there was a smell near the elevators like mold which was unappealing. Restaurant in the lobby was nice and had good cocktails, friendly service, nice selection of bourbon and good snacks (recommend the house chips).

Would stay there again if going through on business.

Stayed two nights. This hotel was beautiful! The staff was amazing. We attended Augustino's restaurant the first night. Our server was superb, his attitude was deliteful and he gladly helped us with any questions. The front desk staff was friendly and professional from check in to check out! Everyone in fact that we had to interact with was pleasant and helpful. Parking was easy to find in the parking garage and the garage was labeled well to easily help us locate the entrance to the hotel. I would easily choose this hotel again!

The Augusta Marriott Convention Center is by far one of my favorite places in Georgia. It has an elegant, yet traditional design that makes you feel like your in the south stepping off of a movie set. The outdoors greet you with a grand fountain and beautiful cobblestone walkways with breathtaking sights along the river. Priceless.

We had our wedding here. The Hotel was wonderful. It's pleasing to the eye and very neat and clean. Sharon Koon your my hero. She did an amazing job setting everything up.

They did a very good job and was very informative and friendly about my stay and nothing was really bad or wrong about the visit. It was friendly atmosphere with good service and food.

This is a very nice hotel located in downtown Augusta, GA. The hotel is immediately next to the Savannah River which is visible from over half of the rooms as the hotel is perpendicular to the river.

When you arrive at the hotel you immediately realize that this is an upscale hotel due to the friendly valet service. Also, there are always two front desk personnel and often a concierge nearby. The hotel personnel have always been very friendly and helpful to me.

The upscale rooms are immaculately cleaned daily or you can choose the option to not have your room cleaned for an extra 500 Marriott points. The rooms are nicely furnished as you would expect. The bathroom is in a separate room from the bedroom, which is particularly nice when traveling with your spouse and you need to get ready in the morning before they do.

The only drawback to this hotel is that you have to pay for daily parking in their covered garage, but you use your room key for entering and exiting the garages so you only pay once per day.

I highly recommend this hotel if you need to visit or work anywhere in the Augusta area.

Listen... The manager, Dwayne (from Augustinos restaurant), and Kevyn (from housekeeping), are 1st class in their service. They made my stay less stressful with their attention and accommodation, after a small snafu. Gorgeous hotel, ample amenities, just awesome... Can't wait until my next visit. #Wowed

We stayed in room 510 and it was terrible. Room had a weird smell specially the bathroom. Rug was extremely dirty. AC was not working. I will strongly encourage to get a room at another hotel.

The Augusta hotel lives up to the Marriott name. Attended a formal military ball here and the event space was more than adequate. I would recommend this hotel for such events in the future.

I love this hotel. Very clean and wonderful hospitality. I will be staying here again in the near future.

Service was excellent and the staff very friendly. The food for the New Year eve party was ok. Not great, but ok. The party and music itself was fun. The breakfast the next morning was less than ok. The worst part was no hot water for a morning shower. They did get it on by check out, but to late.

Like all Marriotts, they nickel and dime for everything.

The location was great being on the river. Convenient to restaurants on broad Street. The Marriott suites rooms were large with a nice living space. Would recommend to travelers heading to the downtown Augusta area.

Went here for a business lunch meeting. Service was excellent and food was delicious. It was a little "high class" for my tastes, but a good experience none the less.

I decided to finally check out this Italian restaurant called Augustinos and the food there was amazing. The service was excellent and it wasn't too crowded, so finding a table was a breeze. It's relatively inexpensive compared to other Italian eateries around town and I would definitely go back.

I love the filet mignon here and the service is always wonderful!

Had a really lovely evening after our wedding. They let our wedding planner set everything up for us to come back to for a romantic night and a chill, comfortable atmosphere. The front desk staff was so friendly and excited for us at check in and check out, and we woke up to a beautiful view of the river. Thank you so much for the perfect end to our perfect day!

Everything was class personified the Staff, the rest rooms were clean, the housekeepers did their jobs well. It is an opulent edifice if I say so myself and everyone seems to work in synergy. It is rather fortunate for Augusta to have such a hotel as this. We held in events in the ballroom and the cooking crew and are waiters and waitresses did a magnificent job all around I would say that they operated in such a fashion that nothing less than perfection should be applied to them. If you wish to have a comfortable stay in the city of Augusta I would recommend this Hotel for you.

This visit was for Mothers Day Dinner. We were seated in a reasonable time and the food that was prepaired was delicious.

It is very nice and a great place to stay. Newly remodeled and very nice. Staff is excellent and the bar and restaurant other are very good to eat and drink at.

This was by far the most accommodating staff we have ever had! They were all very helpful and genuinely cared about our experience. The place was very clean, updated and spacious. Would highly recommend staying here!

Hotel is nice, good rooms, friendly staff, and quick checkin. Internet however is slow even after I paid $15/day for the faster service.

We stay here every time we visit family., and each time the stay is relaxing and pleasant. We love eating breakfast in the resturant; it is terrific.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. All of the staff are so kind and helpful. The room was huge and had sweeping views of Augusta. Plus you are in walking distance of both the riverwalk and plenty of restaurants. I had breakfast at Augustino s in the hotel as well; it was great service and food.

I had no idea the hotel was so nice on the inside. If I was not local I would definitely always stay there. The people that work there are so hospital, even if your not a guest and there for a professional event they are just as hospital. I would recommend this hotel to literally anyone who is out of town.

We ate at Augustino's and had the pasta and salad bar. Food was excellent as always.
