Aloft Jacksonville Tapestry Park Review

This place made us wait On hold for 12 minutes then hung up rather than answer the call. Extremely lazy 3rd shift workers

Nice location next to Starbucks Ugly Pie Pizza and the movie theater. The hotel has great service, but the rooms are okay need remodeling.

We booked a room a month ago and recieved a confirmation number via email. When we arrived to check in, we were told that our booking wasn't good, and that there were no rooms available for us. They did not call us to inform us of this. Front desk also said that there was no available lodging within a 20 mile radius. I called around and found a room in a nice hotel just ten minutes away that was half the cost.

The service was excellent!!!! We have to thank jerry, Michael, Theresa, and Nicole, and the girl that checked us in on 4/20 for room 328. checked We encountered some deficiencies in our room at check in and Jerry and Michael made sure we are taken care of. From our check in until our check out we felt that they care. We really appreciate it. This was our best stay ever we would definitely will love to stay again there.

Nice clean establishment. Great place for the money and the breakfast was surprisingly pretty good. Would stay again if i found myself in the area.

Friendly and hospitable staff. They greet you with a smile as soon as you come in. Cozy clean room and very pet friendly.

Great location!! The hotel was beautiful! The staff are all friendly! If any was needed, they were right on top of things! I loved being in an area with eatery's, shopping, movie theater. This location is the perfect spot!! You will LOVE IT!!

I've stayed at a number of Aloft hotels, but this one might be my favorite. (I've stayed at this location twice.) The rooms were very clean and they are super pet friendly - something I learned on my second stay since my Shih Tzu was traveling with me. Staff was helpful and got me checked in quickly. My only negative was soundproofing: we could hear the people in the next room pretty clearly, but they were only loud when on the phone. BONUS: It's walking distance to a Starbucks in the same plaza.

I figured with the price of the hotel, it would offer atleast complamentry breakfast, but nothing. I paid cash 145, and they still charged my card 75...i would not recommend this place...for the price, i could have stayed at the beach..very disappented

We enjoy this hotel so much. Very friendly staff. They are helpful and kind. Bonus they allow dogs to stay free of charge. The decor is awesome. Rooms are very clean. You won t regret staying here.

Rooms modern but small. Very clean both traditionally and COVID19. Bar was nice touch.

I went to a free seminar which offered a free lunch. It was way too cold in the room. The free lunch was a sandwich and notjing to drink. MThis may have been the presenters fault.

I would give this hotel "0" stars if I could. My husband and I were displaced by Hurricane Irma so we went to this ALOFT because of the great reviews. We were extremely disappointed. The manager was RUDE!!!! She refused to give my husband his military discount because we were getting one of the last 2 rooms available. I guess this is the thanks he gets for serving his country. Also, they were charging guests pet fees when they were not supposed to be due to the hurricane. I would NEVER stay here again. The towels were rough and the toilet paper was like sandpaper. Go to the Homewood Suites instead in Deerwood Park or the Hilton Inn and Suites on Beach Blvd across from walmart. They are both much cheaper and they offer a free hot breakfast!!!!

Very modern, clean and convenient. Rooms are comfy, equipped with mini refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker and big tv. There's gym and pool table here. Breakfast is not included but there's a kitchen where you can get one for about $7. This hotel is very pet friendly. If you travel with a dog you will love it.

Great rooms and great location but there were just a couple of things off, the bartender did not take my voucher for a drink even though the flyer for the voucher says it can be used at the bar, there is also no way to keep just the light above the bed on this was inconvenient as everything had to be shut down at the front of the room before bed, everything else was pretty good though.

Great place to stay and very clean and up to date with the best staff of any motel I've stayed at and in my line of work I've stayed at several and I would recommend it to anyone both business and pleasure!

If you are looking for an amazing hotel this is the place for you. The property is very modern and the staff is always helpful. This is one of those hotels where people actually hang out in the lobby because it's beautiful and they have a bar. Yes a full bar. No mini bottles here. Although it does not open until 4 or 5pm WXYZ bar is awesome

Located in a very nice location to restaurants and highways. The staff was very professional and courteous. They even reward you for going green.

I checked in from the app got my "key" and cruised straight to my room no fuss no muss. The bed was real comfy and snoozed out in a matter of minutes. Checked out the next morning in the app. Could not be easier in my opinion.

All was good until I returned home and noticed a few days later that my card was billed an additional $75 per room because I had 2 rooms under my name, upon investigation I was told by the hotel staff that I spoke to that they are charging me for missing steamers from both rooms, now I know for a fact 100% that I did not take any steamer or any thing else from that room, and I will say the same for the other rooms occupants, these people are running a scam on guests so please be aware check your card statement after you've returned home they try to sneak it in after the fact and hope you won't notice be vigilant and don't stay there if you don't have to.

The most amazing hotel stay!! Felt super relaxed the whole time and we got to swim in the saltwater pool when we got in and had it all to ourselves !!

Easy to get to, good parking area with plenty of parking, and the neighborhood felt safe. This hotel has a sleek modern hip feel and vibe. Upbeat electronic pop music played at a enjoyable volume throughout the lobby area. A handful of people were hanging out on the couches and chairs using their laptops, and a few people watching TV by the bar area. It was a hip and comfortable area that was clean and nice to relax in. Check in was quick and easy and hotel staff very friendly. There was a snack area with a wide selection of reasonably priced snacks as well as a microwave. There was an pleasant amazing cologne smell throughout the place that was obviously there intentionally, I found it to be energizing and calming. Rooms were spotless and felt new, beds very comfortable. Loved the bathroom layout with the walk in shower. Really loved the smell of the shampoo/conditioner and body wash. The room was very quiet and comfortable, I got an amazingly refreshing sleep. I can't recommend this place enough. Two Thumbs Way Up. Oh yeah and great location too, tons of food options nearby as well as shopping.

I recently planned a party in their event space, to my surprise it was so difficult! The Catering Sales Manager, Lauren, did not provide the level of customer service required for an event coordinator or essential contract information such as their outside catering policy. I did not like the array of desserts they provided and asked if I could have an outside baker; Lauren approved. Then, she later added a $300 outside catering fee clause to my event details AFTER the contract was signed due to "miscommunication" with a previous client. I asked Lauren to remove the policy mention because it did not coincide with the initial contract I'd signed. She refused and threatened that I would not have my event as planned if I did not sign THEN she charged my card for the remaining balance WITHOUT authorization. A week before the party, I met with the Director of Sales, Mario, and expressed my displeasure with Lauren and requested another event coordinator. He agreed to be her replacement so my stress subsided due to his reassurance that everything would be better moving forward. Then, nearly a week after my event, Mario calls today for feedback and to discuss my remaining balance. He told me that Lauren forgot to charge tax. How could I have hosted the event with a remaining balance? I told him I was not giving Aloft another dime due to their error or ill-informed staff. I have an email from Lauren and a receipt stating that the remaining balance was paid in full two weeks ago. The sales and events staff and the unwritten policies they try to enforce when they discover the event is not beneficial to their bottom line are not worth your time, energy or money, RUN!!!

Sophisticated hotel I ve never seen anything like this hotel comfy beds unique bathroom great area. Also has a bar inside.

We stay here a lot. Everyone is so nice and it's clean, safe, and easy check in and out. Great if you're traveling with pets

The party of 3 I was in stayed for one night; we loved the design of the place, the cleanliness and low price of the room, and the friendliness of the workers and ease when it came to checking in and out.

The hotel seems a bit run down and needs some TLC. The walls in the room are paper thin and we could hear our neighbors talking next door. Also, the minute we got off on the second floor we could smell marijuana all down the hall.

Terrible experience with General Manager Scott Wellington.
I just made a review asking why in a pet friendly hotel you cannot leave your pet unattended and he answered rudely. He could just say it was the rules to not disturb other customers, but he:
1. Even wrote my name in the email
2. Asked me how would I feel if bla bla bla...
3. Told that some pet owners do not train their pets
Again, in my view, a pet friendly hotel is not a regular hotel. And, if this rule is necessary due this hotel experience, it needs to be clear during booking. Not during check-in when you need to sign a $100 penalty.
If you really want you visit this Aloft, know what will happen if you need anything from General Manager.

Good location and on par with all other Aloft hotels. Staff was fantastic! Very nice and attentive. Rooms were ready at check in but cleanliness of the bathroom was average. Nothing major but theshower was overdue for a deep cleaning. Overall, a great stay.

I went for a conference and the venue was pretty nice. They provided a tastey breakfast and the staff was very nice. Definitely look forward to going there again.

The best hotel in the area that is pet friendly. They have everything you need for your pet. Rooms are very clean staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The bed is very comfortable. Everything you would expect from a Marriott property. Customer Service that consistently exceeds expectations.

It's a good travel hotel and close to our Jacksonville office. The area has some restaurants and it's not far by car to the shops in the next town. A car is definitely required to get around

This is a recently renovated hotel, but it isn t a corporate Marriott Aloft. As a result the quality wasn t up to my previous experiences with Aloft hotels. For its flaws however, this is still miles better than anything else for the price range. The rooms could use some updates (lack of smart connections on the TV is annoying), and the wifi was a bit slow, but the shower provides ample hot water and decent pressure, so overall a decent stay.
