Nice, clean facilities. The staff were also friendly and welcoming. I would recommend checking in before trying to figure out parking unless you know you're going to use the valet services who are also professional and friendly.

We stayed here while traveling to GA for our adoption. The staff was very accommodating and friendly during our extended stay and the accommodations made our stay easy. The ability to work remotely with fast wifi and desk area made being away from work so helpful. The facility was clean and kept up nicely. We enjoyed our stay and if we are ever in the area again will definitely be back.

Beautiful entrance & meeting areas. Little difficulty finding out about the convention in advance. Hotel was very friendly, but had little information about the event. I a, not sure of that was due to the event moderators or the hotel.

As stated on here, some of the staff are rude as hell! I have always thought that, and over the years, the attitudes have remained the same!~ It IS a beautiful hotel, makes for a romantic backdrop, and the restaurant, Augustino's is EXCELLENT. I am a very confident person, but I felt as though I was being scoped out every time I was there, whether for a party, to eat, or to visit ... and I didn't appreciate it!~

Amazing staff. Short story on how they saved my momcation:
I drove in from Beaufort S.C and originally staying in the Wyndham. At about 8 am, the water stopped working. Wyndam manager lied to me over and over again about the problem. Finally at 1345 I called the front desk for the 4th time and requested to check out this time. A manager returned my call offering more lies and a 20% discount. I asked him if he provide the truth and running water, he replied no and so did I. I then frantically called Marriot and an older guy answered. I explained my situation and he said check in wasnt until 1600 but he then said he would check to see if there was a room available immediately (its 1400 at the time) and there only one. He put my name on the room and I told him that I was on my way. When I arrived, I was greeted in a warm manner, the young lady found the room and I received my military discount. You guys saved my momcation and I thank you sooooo much!!! Special thanks to the guy that answered the phone when I called and answered a prayer. I don't know his name (he was working today at 1400, tall caucasian guy, older) but he was amazing and so was then young lady at the desk with him. FYI I LOVE my room, simply amazing.

Great hotel with everything you could ever need. The staff is extremely helpful and very professional. They have an Italian Restaurant with a full bar and the food and service is first class. Gated outdoor pool with beautiful views of the historic Savannah River. Located on the Riverwalk in the middle of historic downtown Augusta Georgia. I highly recommend you consider this hotel for your next visit to Augusta.

I travel for business almost every week and am a loyal Marriott BONVOY member at Lifetime Titanium Elite status. I had business meetings there for two days and booked this hotel , but plans changed and needed to cancel. I called 3 days before my reservation to cancel and found out I booked a prepay room. It was a accident, as a business traveler and I often have to change travel plans I would never book a prepay non refundable room. I called to cancel and ask for a little help, they would not even entertain helping me out and charged me for the full 2 nights even though its clear I am very very loyal to Marriott and people that travel for business a lot is a giant part of their business. This hotel doesn't deserve a single dollar from another business traveler again and I will make sure all of my colleagues are aware of the very poor customer service. I am in shock.
