I've gone to Augusinto's in the Augusta Marriott for lunch since 2006. The pasta bar has never disappointed. The all you can eat buffet is a great value. The food is delicious and always fresh. I've had the pleasure of staying at the Augusta Marriott hotel. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Augustinos... 5 Star Serice every time I go.... it is an exceptional experience. Davina, one of the servers, is awesome! She is the chosen server when I go eat breakfast or lunch. She is personable and has a great attitude.

The manager Alberto, who has been there for years, always makes sure you are having a great experience as well as your food being right. He is an exceptional example of a manager.

Keep up the great service and thank you for always making my visit special!

Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, but HORRIBLE management, naming Stephanie (if that is her real name. I was so frustrated that I didn t remember to get her name and she was off by the time I returned to the hotel after checking into another local hotel. Her manager gave me her name). She was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. I get it, I arrived before check-in time but I made several calls hours before arriving, stating that I was traveling 9 1/2 hours with a wheelchair-bound child that if possible, I would like to check-in two hours earlier than their 4pm policy. I passed through Waynesboro where relatives lived to arrive for a wedding that weekend in Augusta so if I was told it was impossible to check-in early, I would ve stopped in Waynesboro. She needs customer service training to learn how to kindly address the hotel patrons! And her manage needs customer-resolution skills because my complaint was not properly handled by him.

We are currently staying at Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center. We checked in and was given room 618. We went up to our room and as I always do I inspect everything ( lesson from when my mom worked at Holiday Inn for 24 years). First thing I noticed was the bathroom floor was dirty, the shower was dirty, the bed linen looked like.some had already slept on them ( new or clean linen should have folded seems just like the top sheet). When we went to the deck to voice our concerns, they did change our room but no sorry about the inconvenience. The next day as we were sitting eating dinner. We noticed the same guy with a badge on come into the restaurant and gave a guest two cards and keep coming back to ensure he was alright. After the guy with the badge left the guy sitting at the table with his family and friends mad the remark he would have called the corporate office if he had to because he paid $150 for his room and the had the nerve to charge his wife $3:00 for coffee creamer and proceeded to say while at least I got two coupons out of the deal! I guess our dirty room didn t warrant any discount for our inconvenience. When the guy with the badge saw us in the hotel he didn t acknowledge us at all, but fist pump with the $3:00 coffee creamer couple. We usually stay at this Marriott every four to five months and a member, but I think it s time to find other accommodations.

We drove three hours to augusta ga for family emergency & finally found Marriott because my wife has Marriott rewards card & works for state but at 11:30pm the desk clerk was rude uninformed of rates and refused honor her discount. We refused pay $169+ tax. We went back closer to hospital and got quality inn room for $69 & desk clerk was extremely friendly and polite. LOSER MARRIOTT!

We attended a dinner event for a financial advisor. The food was good, the facility was very nice and the staff was friendly. I have also attended conferences at the hotel and conference center and the Marriott went above and beyond for their guests.

The hotel and convention center buildings are nice, and the staff are friendly, though not always as professional as I would expect. The rooms are are very nice with new furniture and carpet. The prices are reasonable for this nice a hotel. With a AAA discount, it's a good deal; but if you get a military discount, it's a no-brainer.

Went here for a marriage retreat. Very nice place for a honeymoon or anniversary trip. Scenic walkway out back and date night restaurant up front.

Edit: I did come back for a technology teachers' conference.

Hotel is pretty. In all the Marriotts I've been in you get complimentary coffee which this one doesn't but they have a Starbucks which I was excited about but was closed (which was a disappointment) from some time during Christmas until New Years. They try to promote reusing towels but bathroom had no hooks also toiletry shelve in shower is not level and slippery and everything falls off. Other than that the hotel is fine.

Made reservations for this hotel two months in advance to attend a conference. At the time I made reservations, I requested a first or second floor room due to the fact that a member of my party had a medical condition that meant she was unable to stay on a high floor. We were told by the reservationist that this was NOT a problem and could be easily accommodated.

Upon arrival, we were first advised we could check in at 12:00 noon by hotel staff. However, at noon, a different hotel staff advised that our previously made request for a lower floor room could NOT be accommodated and furthermore, we could not check in until 4:00. The staff even told us that it was noted in our reservations that we needed a the low level room due to a medical condition, and they STILL refused to accommodate this request. We did not receive any compensation. After refusing multiple times to assist us with the request, the staff had the nerve to "compliment" me on my outfit, which really just angered me further. While I understand that not all requests can be accommodated, it seemed ridiculous that the staff did nothing to help us and did not reserve a room for us on a lower level floor; yet our request was in the system and visible, and the staff confirmed that! For a luxury hotel, this lack of accommodation is ridiculous. The hotel staff even asked me who I made the reservations with. As I pulled my phone out to show her the number I had called two months prior, she wouldn't even let me get that far - she cut me off and said that I had likely called a reservation line and the employees working the reservation line didn't know what was going on in individual hotels. If that is the case, then the Marriott line has a serious problem: there is a drastic lack of communication between reservationists telling customers that requests for medical conditions can be accommodated, and hotel staff refusing to accommodate those requests. All members of this business need to be on the same page, and they clearly are not.

We also had a terrible time with servers in the hotel. The service was slow. They refused to fill our glasses until we managed to stop someone and request a refill. The bellhop did not load the cart with our luggage; we actually had to hand him the bags. Staff said hello to us when we passed by, but sometimes it was with an air of doing it only because they had to. I will NEVER stay at this Marriott ever again.

They must have done some major renovations. The rooms are beautiful! Finally, finally, finally a hotel that didn't put nasty carpet in the rooms! Give me a proper floor any day. I'd stay here again.

Nice hotel on the Augusta waterfront with a friendly staff, easy on- and off-street parking. The restaurant and bar are good. However, if you prefer to escape the hotel, it is walking distance to restaurants, bars, and two live theaters.

Hotel is very nice but the check in lady was horribly rude. She didn't even tell us which side of the hotel we were in. There was a wedding too and I think they put the whole wedding on our floor. They had the party in the halls all night long. We stay in hotels all the time & this one we won't stay at again.

I really enjoyed the pasta bar at lunch. The sweet tea was good and the servers and cooks had great attitudes! I would highly recommend this place for lunch! They had salad, soup and pasta (all you can eat for lunch)

Planning an event there. Really pricey, and they nickel and done you for everything. Corking fee for a bottle of wine shared with 8 people? $80 per bottle. Hanging your own banner? $35. Plugging something in to the wall? $80 per outlet. Nuts. If I could go somewhere else, I would in a heartbeat.

A bit off the highway but worth it. I loved the bed and it looked recently remodeled. It was sad the housekeeping was not up to the same standard. Too many missed items ie mildew, shower glass streaked with soap scum. I should have reported at the time but was anxious to get back on the road. This is a very pretty hotel rooms and the common areas. I didn't eat anything here so can't review their bar or restaurant.

Disappointing experience. I'm was raised across the river from this hotel, and whenever I come home to visit wr stay here. But maybe not in the future, very dissatisfied with a ",bait and switch,," on our reservation. Traveling with 2 parents, an adult child and a nine year old we had specific requirements and expectations. Reserved and confimed a small suite with two beds, sofa bed, fridge and microwave. Upon check in we have a regular double queen room. When we call front desk we're told the suites tower us under renovation, and should not have been offered. We are encouraged to seek accomodations elsewhere if our requirements are really important. I've stayed in a lot of Marriott's this is not what I expected. If we were aware of the renovations we would have planned accordingly.

We booked a king suite with a request that we had a bathtub and a late arrival. Got there and was told they were sold out and we could get a double After a 30 minute wait we were given a handicapped room. The a/c banged when it went on and off. The neighbor with the connecting door played with the knob all hours of the day and night. The young man at the front desk was no help when we needed direction around the hotel. Then the bell captain on Saturday night was the best part of our 4 day stay. If the entire Marriott staff cared like he did.

We were staying in the Suites building. Service was good and the rooms were clean. However, the hotel is old and tired. The ceiling of my room had a lot of water stains. The interior look is need of an update.

If I can't stay in this Marriot I don't stay in Augusta. The staff is very professional. The breakfast is awesome. The area is safe and it is great for families. I am a rewards member and feel rewarded when I stay.
