Bought their windows through a company called Window World in February of 2018. First, the company damaged my siding during installation, none of the trim around the outside of my windows line up and looks so bad. Then, one window lost its seal, when I questioned whether or not we had the low e argon gas windows we paid an extra $2000 for they sent someone out. Who confirmed WE DONT!!! They say this is the manufacturers fault not theirs and will replace with the correct windows in 6-8 weeks! We are beyond mad and considering legal action as we feel this is false advertising as well as fraud. If I hadn t questioned the quality of the window we would have been screwed out of $2000 to their gain. So upsetting.

Not happy with the product or the service. Had all windows in my house replaced with their products in 2002. Three windows have failed due to seals leaking (two in the past 12 months). The warranty repair experience has been the same i.e. send documentation and payment info, wait, call, wait, call, finally action after weeks of silence.
My latest experience began in Feb this year with another seal failure in a double pane window - I sent warranty repair docs in early March and did not hear back. Called in April 4 and was told the item would ship soon - complete silence since. Called today (May 5) and was told the window had shipped to their partner company on April 28 - but nobody bothered to tell me.
Hopefully, this is my last experience with Associated Materials.

Condo was built in 2006/2007, one of the windows installed has a leaky seal. Called them about the warranty, filled out and sent all paperwork with pictures only to find out somehow the window is not covered for the second homeowner (I bought it from the original in November 2015). Nowhere on the paperwork does it say that and when on the phone I told them I was the 2nd owner and included that information in the paperwork sent. All that time and trouble and if that little clause is true why couldn't they say that on the phone!!!

One of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Their triple pane windows (Sovereign) are absolute junk. I have 43 individual windows in my house (yes, it is a larger house) and so far I have replaced 18 of them in the first 4 years due to seal failure, cracked window panes or the most common trait with mine, Low-e breakdown. They apparently cannot figure out how to put a triple window together without it failing shortly thereafter. Last time I had them replace two windows under warranty it took over three months to finally recieve the windows. And then when I get them the sash's are just slightly the wrong size so then I end up removing the whole new glass assembly and re-installing it the old sash so it will fit.
This has been a nightmare. Our dream house and now it has junk windows.

STAY AWAY FROM REVERE BRAND, SOVERIEGN OR WINDOW WORLD WINDOWS!!!!

This company is truly bad. For over year I am trying to replace couple of windows at my house and nothing is done. Windows are under their warranty. I made about 30 phone calls for last year and every time I hear from them just a promises. The only last option is to obtain legal advice and hire the lawyer. No words, can't believe them, unspeakably bad way doing business.

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. I called their line for a product quality issue with our window and they could not help or send me to anyone who could help. The representative told me I needed to "google" providers in my area to fix the issue. They could not provide me the numbers. Very odd way to treat customers with your product and get them to return. AKA Alside Windows and Doors. My builder used these windows in my new construction 2005 home. I have had 10 windows seal fail and mold has grown between the panes. They have replaced the all free of charge but it has cost me over a $1000 to have them replaced and now I have filed a third claim they have put me through the run around for over two months. I have spoke to three different claims people with all giving different excuses why it has not been processed, meanwhile I have a petri dish beside my back door. Very embarrassing! These windows are junk! Spend a little more for piece of mind and good customer service, The savings you get on the front end, cost you greatly shortly after. If your builder uses Alside beware, he is probably cutting corners elsewhere as well!

They have no desire to work. Been here 3 hours waiting for freight to be unloaded and it seems as if more glass is going in the dumpsters than into inventory. The owners might want to check on their profit and loss from this location

Terrible company. We purchased our home brand new from the builder 5 years ago with a "lifetime" warranty on the triple pane windows. When we had a window that lost the gas seal, we sent all the info to Associated and they claimed we were not the original owners so the warranty was void. They said the builder was the original owner (aren't they the original owner of all homes?) so they would not warranty the window. I am having the window repaired at my expense but wiill be suing them in small claims court for the cost. I'll keep you posted. WHAT A SCAM COMPANY!

A total scam. Windows and doors in value of 20K with lifetime waranty? A hoax. The door lets water and ants inside. I sent all docs , they refuse to look at it. The business will have to be shut down. I am filing a BBB claim , cot file and writE a letter to Trump. Stop ripping off hard working pEople of their money! ITS A GAP OF 0.5IN..WATER IN AGAIN TODAY..I KEEP A KITCHEN TOWEL AT THE DOOR BOTTOM TO KEEP INSECTS AWAY , IT WAS SOAKED IN WATER TODAY FROM RAIN..ITS OUTRAGEOUS..THEY REFUSE TO LOOK AT IT..I HAVE SENT PICS SHOWING HOW A STICK FROM OUTSIDE CAN BE EASILY BE SLIPPED UNDER THE DOOR INSIDE,..I HAVE VIDEOS...THEY DO NOT CARE! THIS WILL GO T O COURT BECAUSE I M NOT GOING TO PAY FROM MY POCKET , BBB CLAIM AS WELL....I TRIED TO POST VIDEOS AND PICS HERE, IT DOES NOT WORK!

My claim was denied, its beyond ourageOus..1.5in gap up and 0.5 in gap botton..all day today i had to get water out of house because of heavy rain and the door lets water , insects, worms flies in ..next week, inspection report and off to court ..i m only stopping when the business is closed...also off to cout with home inspector that inspected this house..its a shame ..added more pics ..those are the paper towel that i use to stop insects coming in ..water comes in anyway ..this is a safety and healthy hazard..i reported this in may, got denied in sept saying its not manufactured..so how do u call 1,5in gap up and 0.5 in gap bottom that let waters, insects, worms, coachroaches and flies in? that beyond ridiculous. SHUT DOWN TEH BUSINESS..ITS A SHAME U R OPENED YET!

Absolutely the worst! I filed a claim online and after calling back several times to get an ETA after submitting all necessary paperwork, I finally got someone to confirm that the claim was all set, approved and would be processed ASAP. BTW, According to THEIR website, "You must be the first or second owner and supply them with a Deed and pictures/serial numbers of the windows--which I did. The next day, I get an email saying I was denied. When I called back, the CSR said the claim was denied because I was the second owner. What? The website says, "First or Second Owner". The CSR then says, "That's a mistake, your windows aren't covered because they were installed in September of 2008 and our warranty for second owners started on December of 2008. Super, super LAME! If that's the case, then their website should say exactly that! BTW, Associated Materials makes the following windows which I HIGHLY recommend AVOIDING! Alpine, Gentec, Preservation, Alside!

I have been waiting on a warranty replacement of the siding on my house for over a year. Their customer service is terrible - we will have to look into the issue and call you back weeks go by without a response until I call back. We are still looking into the issue. So Very frustrated. I would advise anyone to pick a different company to get the siding from!
