Master Theater Builders Review

Theater is old, seats in front are not going downhill meaning i was starring at the back of their head who had seats in front of me, rows are not easy to find when its almost full, can't see number of the seat if somebody is in it, rows market a bit confusing maybe its just me so one row maybe 3-4 rows misaligned with next bay. Overall it's not bad just take seats maybe 1 row back side may not be closest to the scene. Parking is not easy 20$ Valet parking available just drive couple blocks away.

Great place to spend time with friends and family. Was there many times. The design is ok, but the entrance stairs are very narrow and there is no foyer where you can walk.

The theatre is nice and spacious. The music and lighting is up to par and I would definitely go back.

Keep in mind that this theater is above a supermarket which means you will have to pass flowers and apples to get to the stairs (which is by the left btw). The entrance to the staircase is not very noticeable. They had bathrooms that were closed so we used the ones near the store (to the right) and they were fine.

Street parking varies here so keep that in mind if you're driving here. There are metered spots right outside the building and all along the avenue.

Beautiful theater. Luxurious old fashioned design. I particularly like the fact that it s on the smaller side, so most seats have pretty good views.

Went there for a Ceremony and the staff was very rude and Ignorant.

It's a not bad theater, but it's so old stage, and a poor performance. Looks like flash back from 90

I attended a concert here and overall great experience with this venue. The acoustics and layout of the concert hall were optimal. I highly recommend this venue.

Two things we did not like. There was not enough incline in the floor between the rows of seats, so it was hard to see the performer because of the heads of people seating in the front of you. And it took us more than 15 minutes to get out to the street, there are only two exits, so it doesn't look safe in emergency situation.

Pretty disappointing, sound want good and lots of issues, not very comfortable seats either.

The performance and the artists are fantastic, it is very disappointing that the tickets are expensive and the hall was not full

This is a good venue. I went to a Christmas show once with my grand-pa. And I loved it.

Very nice old theater, the janitor is a nice man who keeps the place neat and sticks the bathrooms. However the theater is old there is no wheelchair accessibility and the heating/cooling systems us out of wonk and you can't set the right temp. so the audience is boiling in the winter because it gets so stuffy with all of the people and the stage is simply a nightmare with heat! Other than that it is a nice place and recommended but not highly only as a last resort or for convienince.

there should be more signs to say the exact location of the theater

Endless parade of expensive fur coats, that Russian women wore to this place. An animal genocide, just so they can show it off in a 45 degrees weather.

Renovation is overdue. Very old, outdated. Shame that we have suck an old and outdated theater in the center of Russian community.

Needed to be renovated and loaded with professional light for the stage.

Awesome experience ! Great visual and audio . Concert hall and multiplex . Kind of a radio city in Brooklyn

Been to a few kickboxing events here. The place is well-managed.

Tried to purchase tickets online for the concert of Basta, while transaction was processing the system got frozen, was charged 165$, no money on the bank account and no tickets... tried to contact management, nobody picks up the phone, emailed them, no answer. Missed the event, lost money, never buy tickets for this one online or risk to be robbed.

They need more exits to avoid big lines. Everything else is okay.

Concert was great,but for me 1and half hour is not enough.I want it to long for 2 hour

Great theater I have to say it's only for Russian speaking people, performance all in Russian language.

If loud annoying ads from Gourmanoff downstairs is not enough for you, definitely visit Master Theater. While waiting for the performance your ears would enjoy nonstop ads before the start and during the break.

A tip for management: it makes sense to replace performances with ads too.

Despite all the unsatisfactory reviews, the cinema itself is beautiful and should be preserved. The owner should really bring it up to date and make the necessary needed intervention to let it get the reviews it deserves. Not only reviews dear owner, but it'll be a place where people will enjoy spending their time and money. Thank you!

This used to be the oceana movie theatre. Now it's a meeting hall with a stage and a grocery downstairs.

The theater is nice, but there is no handicapped access or accommodations whatsoever . Had to help my disabled father up a large flight of stairs and then again down one. Also I was very put off with the "don't throw toilet paper in the toilet bowl" signs. Seriously? Would have thought that at least US building codes would apply to plumbing of buildings on Brighton Beach. Guess that was imported from the old country too, ey?

Small theater. Mostly Russian performers use this theater for their concerts etc.

The floor staff here are rigid and unprofessional. The female manager is normal, though is impossible to reach over the phone.

I love master theater! The best place ever. You can see what's going on in stage from all seats.

Very nice theater, sound and presence good quality.

Ok venue but management did nothing when crowd blocked the stage view at the sitted show. There is no point to pay top price for premium seats there since anyone can just elbow through to the front.

The Master Theater is a nice place for your entertainment. It s not huge but it s nice and big and you can have a great view of the stage.

Russian theater of Brooklyn. Lovely place, went with my friends to Basta s concert! Enjoyed!!!

Beautiful event venue in Brooklyn but no parking. lots of great Russian and European restaurants nearby

One of the best theaters in Brooklyn I've been to. This theater differs from others in that it has a great design, where no one distracts you while watching, and all sounds can be heard even from the rear seats! I would also like to add that if you are going to go here, then get ready to hear a lot of Russian speech, which is not surprising!

Beautiful theater. I enjoyed last night's performance.
