The aquarium has some truly spectacular walk-through exhibits. I was really impressed with the conservation work they're doing. Imax (also great) is included in the ticket purchase. Skip the cafe.

Parking is atrociously expensive, but you can take the streetcar instead. Jackson Square and Cafe du Monde are within easy walking distance of the aquarium.

This place is ok.. not much too see but u do learn a bit.. love the otters.. n I do understand why everything is expensive in there.. those funds are to take care of the animals in every way.. the staff could use alot of manners n friendliness.. the only reason I'm giving it 4 starts is because of the animals n those who actually take care of them n the staff that cleans the facility.. like the restrooms, the floors n building.. all the other jokers need to get ur attitude adjustment asap..

Building is old, outdated dirty, unorganized and in need of maintenance. Customer service was terrible, waited for 40 minutes and was still not able to get a manager to come and talk to me. Do not bother going here

We had a very nice experience in this aquarium while in NOLA. It is not too large but it has most of what you want to see, including great shows of penguins and sea otters. Decor and displays are beautiful and very informative, staff is very friendly. I highly recommend to see at least one theater show. The theater is fantastic!

This place is amazing for young children. If your family is in NOLA, definitely give this place a round. It was worth every penny to see the excitement in my daughter. There is a zoo. Right on the river. The other reviews that were down on this place seemed to feel the price was too much. Considering that a po'boy costs $15, an entire day at this aquarium is well worth $29.

A variety to see. Really enjoyed watching the penguins feeding (penguins are one of my favorites). Liked feeding the sting rays-they feel so smooth. At the otter feeding we could feel the dry coat they have.

It's a nice Aquarium. Very over crowded, which makes it hard to maneuver when you're pushing a stroller around - which over half the visitors are. Pizza is delicious & military receives BOGO tickets which was a major plus!

Fantastic experience for the whole family. The exhibits are just super. I've brought my kids here many times and we never get tired of it. My girls love the jellyfish exhibits and the staff is very kind and helpful. Can't tell you the first thing about the food area, as I don't come here to eat. lol

Conveniently located between French Quarter and The Riverwalk Outlet Mall. Not a large aquarium, you will probably spend 1-2 hours. Definitely stop by the sting ray tank, you get a chance to pet them! Food court is overpriced, and you can grab a bite to eat around the area in walking distance. You also Woldenburg Park to hang out at.

Visited here on a business trip. One of the nicer aquariums I've been in. Conveniently located in heart of NOLA on river walk. Fantastic for kids. Worth a visit if you are in to aquatics.

I usually go to the this aquarium every 2- 3 years, this past visit I could not believe how much the quality has gone down. I bought my niece, she had fun but her favorite part was the gift shop, when I asked her it took her a good minute to give me an answer. Sad. The tank quality is horrible. I mean, when was the last time they've been cleaned? The glass had green scum on multiple tanks, the salt water tanks were murky and not clear at all. What happened to all the jelly fish exhibits? What happened to the shark exhibits? Just one jelly fish tank with only 4 jelly fish. Ticket prices increased and then of course you have to pay for every single thing inside, to touch a mantaray, pay to feed the bird... The most exciting part (as an adult) was the seahorses, the two sea otters and paying online to skip the line. After seeing other aquariums across the states, I will never waste my hard earned money here again. Tourist might enjoy it, but this local did not.

Love the aquarium...I wish it were designed a little better, it seems like you have to backtrack alot. But it is beautiful and the exhibits seem to be well maintained. The kids loved getting to pet a stingray.

I heard an employee say "I've been to the Atlanta aquarium and I think ours is better." Well that was definitely a lie, but it was pretty nice. Many things were closed while we were there but we still had a great time exploring.

It was amazing, until it started flooding outside, and they opened the doors and let people in for free. 63 dollars down the drain. You couldn't walk, see, or hear the people giving the shows. Started great, got bad really fast.

Went as a chaperone with my daughter's school and we had a blast. The atmosphere was wonderful we were greeted with big smiles and friendly faces. I think us adults had more fun then the children. Thank You Aquarium Of America New Orleans

A very nice place to visit. Wish it were bigger, however, I enjoyed my visit. It was my second visit in 10 years. I found it to have a fresh face from 10 years ago. I would recommend a visit to anyone.
