Had a wonderful time, so interesting exhibits about local sea and river life. Spent 2 hours here taking it all in.

With Covid to crowded no social distancing. Glass all dirty all you can see is finger prints all over.
Not worth the money.
Love this aquarium! So much diversity and a really cool layout!
We had a great time at the aquarium. A bit on the pricey side for entrance. Would visit again though.
Great place for family visit.. My grandson really enjoyed himself..
Was a very good experience. But tickets online, then open the email and walk in. Super easy.
It's like taking your kids to the mall on Christmas Eve, setting $200.00 on fire, and looking at a few fish tanks. The place is NOT handicap accessible (I'm handicapped), they don't try to help other people much at all, and you're either in blinding light or pitch-dark.
Half the attractions we're closed for repair or maintenance. It was a maze trying to get around and didn't get to see much due to repairs being done.
Great aquarium. Lots of things for the kids to see and do. They have several eateries inside, including a Hagen Daas with dairy free options.
The exhibits are well maintained and a wide variety of sea life is present. It's a fantastic attraction.
Great for kids and adults bird feeding area is one of the most fun parts
Haven't been here in quite a while but the memory's are amazing. The albino alligator was massive in size and got to touch a stingray.
Fun and entertaining, great place to take the family after a great meal.
You must see the parakeets! Smiles and chuckles from all ages
Great place to take the kids while visiting New Orleans
Very nice aquarium. Took about 1-1.5 hours to go through it, but we did not see any of the shows. The bird sanctuary is neat for the kids.
What a wonder to find such kind people and hands on experiences definite stop next time I am this way
It was a fun and good learning experience for my Son,Grandchildren and my self.
We got great pictures to treasure. Well worth it. My Granddaughter was gifted this pass for three people because of scholarship grade. Got to be thankful for that.
The aquarium was pretty cool the bird center was shut off and the divers were not doing a show do to covid-19
Really nice place, I did not like the idea they printed so many pictures out whether you buy them or not, how wasteful for a place that claims to be environmentally friendly.
My family enjoyed this Aquarium better than the one in Houston. The main tank is quite large and the Mississippi River section was informative about local species.
Great experience. Got to feed stingrays and very informed staff
Amazing exhibits. My teenage boys had fun. Our favorites were the Gulf of Mexico tank and the Maya exhibit.
Some exhibits were being updated so 4 stars. Otherwise, a really nice facility with lots to see.
Very interesting and educating place to be with the family.
You could spend hours here looking at all the exhibits, but the crowd is often heavy, being right in downtown New Orleans. The view of the river is awesome, and the large tanks have varied species, including a couple varieties of shark.
When it's not busy, buy a few sticks to feed the budgies at parakeet pointe. They get more gregarious when there are few people.
Huge variety of seahorses, several reef tanks and a stingray touch pool make this a great aquarium to check out.
Cute place but a bit small. We finished in about an hour.
Very nice acquarium but they close for private parties. Don't rely on their website or Google hours to ensure they are open. You had better call.
Not the best aquarium. I have seen better, for one on gulf coast, cheesy.
I love the aquarium. We take the grand babies there at lease twice a year.
Great place to visit. Especially on a rainy weekend when you are trying to stay dry. All the staff was wonderful and very informative. I wish I could be there for the beer festival that they are having in October.
I expected children to be here, just not bus load after bus load on a Friday. It was so loud from all the screaming kids I couldn't hardly talk to my wife. It is the typical aquarium, nothing special. If I could suggest anything, this place needs hand sanitizer stations with all these kids sneezing, coughing and touching everything. I was afraid to touch any of the buttons because we didn't have any hand sanitizer. Several of the information buttons didn't even work. Got food and there were no lids or straws for the cups unless you bought the $3 kid straw. For a place that is Family oriented, there are not Family Restrooms. My wife just had surgery and needed assistance. I asked one of the employees where to find one and they were kind enough to escort my wife and I to the back to use an employee restroom. Sort of disappointed for an aquarium that cost $30 to get into.
Not what I expected. Expected it to be much larger for the price.
I ve been wanting to go to this aquarium since I moved to the city. It did not disappoint! They have a wide array of sea animals. We got to watch the otters play! I had no idea they were as big as they are but when you re that up close and personal with them, you realize they re huge. And goofy as heck. But honestly, one of my favorite parts was feeding the birds at the aviary. Worth the visit
Very nice to take the family , lots a things to watch and the movie in the 3d imax teather is a plus.
Updates are looking good. Always fun for the little ones.
Cool aquarium, go next door and watch the imax video that's included with the ticket.
Went there yesterday. Paid 60 for 2 people. Empty exhibits, closed off areas(prob empty as well). Spent less time there than any other museum... WASTE OF MONEY, STAY AWAY!
It is a very nice aquarium with lots of cool animals.
Simply amazing. The tickets were a bit pricey but totally worth it. We especially loved the penguins and otters.
Great exhibits, we had a very good time all throughout. One minor thing were the pictures. They say $35 for a packet of 2 large photos, 3 wallet size, one frame and digital copy included. We'll the digital copy is not included you still have to PAY for it. Your $35 packet turns into $70 if you really want the digital copies. We have no problem paying extra for something just don't say it's "INCLUDED".
Great atmosphere and a ton of species to watch play in the water. We loved the Hyacinth Macaw which kept posing for pictures. They even offer different excursions you can do like playing with the Otters on the weekends. I'd definitely recommend bringing the family to check it out.
Something for the whole family it was amazing even got one of my kids off of pokemon hunting for a bit. Lol
Great aquarium! They focus on promoting environmental consciousness!
This was a pretty great aquarium. Big and spacious, which is great if you are with a big group or just like a big space to wander around in. I had 'liked' their Facebook page, so I found out when the mermaids would be there so we could time our visit. That was a special little bonus. Loved it!! The IMAX movie was pretty good too. You can pick one with price of admission. Overall great experience. Go!
Amazing place to go if you love marine life. Each city, I visit... try to go to the aquarium and this was nice and amazing....they even have a tropical rain forest with birds that you can see.
Nice educational place to take kids or a date. Definitely learned a lot and it has a futuristic aspect to it which is nice
I really enjoyed the Mayan exhibit as well as the sea otter exhibit and presentation. The staff is friendly and it is an two to three hours to walk the exhibits.
Nice grabs attention at entrance. Not big. If you have kids go for it
Love this aquarium! They seahorse exhibit will always hold a super special place in my heart. My nephew was 6yrs old when I took him and he ran up to me concerned a bout a seahorse that he was convinced was dying. I went over to there and to our wonderful suprise it was the male seahorse giving birth. We stood watching in amazement for 2 hours reading all we could about them. My nephew passed away when he was 19 yrs and I now have a shoulder piece of 2 intertwined seahorses with his signature underneath. Such a special place with amazing memories I'll cherish throughout my life.
This is not worth $30. Kids might be fine but it seems very limited. Facilities are nice.
it was fun. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand English.
Staff was kind but didn t seem to care very much. The exhibits were nice but not to the standard I expected. Still a great time and the movie was great.
Busy, but had substantial exhibits, otters were the highlight, very cute
Had a great time with the kiddos and in-laws on a Friday afternoon. Spent several hours here, including lunch (which was overpriced at best), and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We liked the play area and touch pool; who knew stingrays were so soft! We bought the combo tickets to all three Audubon areas (Zoo, Insectarium, & Aquarium) so it was a little pricey, but this was our vacation so it was budgeted for. Two adults, two seniors, two kids was $250 or so for all three and the theater. There were a few places for people to sit and that was important to us as well.
Great place to visit. Lots of stuff for the kids. Had a lot of fun
It's a nice place, and a great moment for the kids learn about the sea animals.
This Aquarium was a disappointment especially given the cost. I was only going to give a one star however the smaller children visiting the Aquarium the day we were there seemed to enjoy it and were filled with excitement. If you have been to other large Aquarium's you might be disappointed as I was.
Wonderful Aquarium. Outstanding exhibits, and feeding the parakeets was a blast!
Entry experience confusing and slow. Otherwise a worthwhile visit.
Shorter than expected, about an hour. But I was with adults only. Definitely worth a visit tho. Great photo and video opps. I recommend getting the multi exhibit ticket for a complete experience.
