The Time Warner Center is a mixed-use building complex in Columbus Circle, Manhattan, New York City. It was developed by The Related Companies and AREA Property Partners, and designed by David Childs and Mustafa Kemal Abadan of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

The Time Warner Center consists of two 750 foot (230 m) twin towers bridged by a multi-story atrium containing upscale retail shops. The complex also contains office and residential tenants. Construction began in November 2000, following the demolition of the New York Coliseum, and a topping-out ceremony was held on February 27, 2003. The property had the highest-listed market value in New York City, $1.1 billion, in 2006.

Originally constructed as the AOL Time Warner Center, the building encircles the western side of Columbus Circle and straddles the border between Midtown and the Upper West Side. The total floor area of 2.8 million square feet (260,000 m2) is occupied by office space, including the offices of WarnerMedia (formerly Time Warner) and an R&D center for VMware; residential condominiums; and the Mandarin Oriental, New York hotel. The Shops at Columbus Circle is an upscale shopping mall located in a curving arcade at the base of the building, with a large Whole Foods Market grocery store on the lower level. Deutsche Bank will replace WarnerMedia as the anchor tenant of the 1,100,000-square-foot (100,000 m2) office area beginning in 2021, at which time it will be renamed the Deutsche Bank Center

Hello,

Hello,

I have been a Time Warner Customer since 2012. Recently I set up an automatic payment, there was an issue with my card and I had to pay it myself online, rather than having it taken from my account automatically. I paid $200 dollars and I was only supposed to pay $117.85. I wanted to pay more because I was moving and didn't want to have issues. Thinking everything was ok, I continued about my life. One week later I was charged $117.85. I did not authorize the payment or save my credit card information to my profile. I called and was assured I would get the $117.85 returned to my card within 3-5 business days. I waited 5 days, called back and was told it may take longer depending on my bank. I waited 7 more days, called back and was told Time Warner has processed this and it's my banks fault, mind you I have never had this issue with my bank before. I called my bank they confirmed they did not receive any payment from Time Warner nor is a payment pending. I called Time Warner yet again, and was told everything was done and to wait. Almost three weeks later I call again because, I needed the money. I was then informed by one of your representatives that the refund was declined and it can't be returned. I was then informed they can refund the $200 instead because that is the amount that I paid. I waited another week, so in total I have been waiting almost a month for a refund. I did not authorize the payment of $117.85 that was taken out a week after I paid $200 dollars from my account. Your company has stored my credit card details without my consent, which is illegal, and I have yet to receive my $200 dollars. As a single mother with limited income, I am very disappointed in the level of service as well as the length of time it has taken me to get back my money. I was told that your company "did me a favor" because had the $200 not been applied to my account I would not have been able to move. Do I as a customer not have a voice in whether or not I continue my service with your company? I spoke to a representative today and was told they will process the refund today, and the money will be in my account within 3-5 business days. I trust that this will finally be taken care of and I will actually receive the $200 refund no later than 5 business days. Hopefully your company can use this feedback to keep this from happening to other "valued" customers.

This mall always makes me depressed as it reminds me of how little money I have on me. I cannot afford one thing in there. It s like the mall is telling me go back where you belong! to Queens!

The place itself is beautiful and designed very intelligently. I love the way the twin towers align with broadway and 8th Avenue!

I'm only giving it two stars because it works okay sometimes and I love NY1. I've had intermittent signal problems that slow down my internet (steaming Apple TV becomes impossible) and disrupts my favorite shows at the worst possible times. These episodes have lasted for weeks, and I receive no notifications of network issues. Also, they shipped buggy set top box software that had a severe memory leak and wouldn't own up to it. I was rebooting it daily for months. This is what happens when there's a lack of competition. I'd drop them in a heartbeat if there was an alternative in my building. Do not use TWC if you have another option.

For the most part this is an upscale mall. Downstairs is Whole Foods. Upstairs are many stores on multiple floors. Delightful to walk through even if you do not purchase anything. There is an information desk on the street level.

My only alternative to cable and internet is Time ...

My only alternative to cable and internet is Time Warner due to the location of the house that I rent. The company is horrid. From the Office of the President down!!!! I have reached out 6 times in the past few weeks to the executive team and was made promises that were just simply lip service. I have been charged for the highest speed internet they offer for the past three months.. however my speed never changed. My bill mysteriously keep increasing. When I asked them to review my "package" to reduce the monthly bill so that I am only paying for what I USE, they told me that the best they could do is reduce my bill $25 by taking off all the movie channels. Again, however, to add them is nearly 3 times that amount. They then sent a technician out to my house without telling about the appointment... and I was out of town. They have not rescheduled. I tried to return a call as instructed by a senior representative. I place 4 calls in the course of a day leaving messages each time. I never received a call back and again had to call the Presidents office. Their response was that the matter would be reviewed and someone would be calling me.

TWC is over rated, far too expensive for the product and service you receive, considering the alternatives. If you have the choice... DO NOT chose TWC. They will bleed you dry and have absolutely no concern for their customers. It is all about the money... big business.

I love coming into this place. There are two massive statues by Fernando Botero that welcome you when you enter the main atrium. Once inside there are many choices to make. You can take the escalator downstairs where there is a Whole Foods location. The main floor has stores by designers such as Hugo Boss, a cigar store and many other cool places to explore. There used to be a Borders Book store on the second level that I would visit regularly. There are now a couple of eateries that are not only real good, but also offer great views of Central Park and Columbus Circle. There are several more levels to explore upstairs and some really fancy restaurants as well. I love how they decorate the main atrium with stars that light up and change colors during the holidays. There's a subway station right across the street and after enjoying a light meal you can use this place as a starting point to explore the city and all it has to offer.

Very impressive window views, luxury stores and restaurants, Whole Foods Market
In this center, there is Jazz at Lincoln Center which is very convenient. However it is too crowded when I was there on Sun so that getting a cup of coffee was a kind of challenge.

TWC you agreed to keep me at the rate I have been paying for the last year. Some victory. Essentially, TWC expects customers to complain each year to prevent rates from increasing- known as the annual "promotional" rate change. While other providers reward their customers longevity, TWC shows their appreciation by increasing rates.
YOU CAN DO BETTER TWC.
My campaign of dissatisfaction continues.

"Received the "PROMOTIONAL RATE IS EXPIRING BUT YOUR SAVINGS WILL CONTINUE" letter. Interestingly, I didn't realize my first year of service with TWC was even a promotion. Spent some time with a customer service representative who explained to me in order for me to keep my bill the same, I would have to downgrade from Extreme internet to Standard. Essentially paying the same for less. Also why am I paying a $5 wireless internet service charge on top of the monthly bill? Is that not what my monthly bill includes, wireless internet service? Very absurd. I will be expressing my dissatisfaction across social media and the web. I will be canceling my service if this is not resolved."

False Advertisement, Deceptive Practices, Poor Cus...

False Advertisement, Deceptive Practices, Poor Customer Service, Inadequate technicians. I order Time Warner on or around Feb10, 2016. They charged me a month service in advance and a $50.00 deposit before they would schedule the install. The install was a joke. They did nothing. When they left the only working service I had was internet. However, their system did not recognize me because the Tech input the wrong info. Eventually a "senior" tech came out and re-installed the TV and the whole service. My telephones never did work.
I cancelled using the 30 day guarantee which they did not honor. They informed me twice that my refund could only be process via check and US mail. Although I tried to demand a refund back to my debit card.
The check never came and I visited the local office on Leo Street in Dayton. The agent could find no information in my account records confirming a guarantee refund was do. Neither did she have records of a deposit refund. Finally after demanding and refusing to be allowed to speak with a supervisor the Clerk said she had spoken to her supervisor and a refund would be issued. She apologized again stating the refund had to be issued via check and mail. I told her I knew they were just lying as they have been since I became involved with them.

I filed a dispute with the BBB,The FCC, The FTC and I will continue to do so until Time Warner sends me a Check for the money I paid for no service. This is absolutely the worst company I have every had the misfortune to deal with. Run don't walk!

Piling on the bandwagon here - this is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The minute, the SECOND another cable company comes to my building, I will switch. They charge whatever they want, whenever they want, and have incompetent nincompoops running their customer service team. I have never been so frustrated and yet amused by the absolute insanity in my life. RUN IF YOU CAN!

A wonderful center just by Central Park. Fancy stores and several great restaurants. Some of the stores and dining options are quite expensive - but some aren't. Momofuku Noodle Bar offers delicious food, Center bar and other on the higher floors provide the opportunity to sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful view of Columbus Circle and the park.

The TWC is situated right by the park and subway lines, making it a great place to meet up although there are few places to sit without shopping at one of the pricey stores inside. There is the occasional light show for the holidays, pop-up shops like a mini Microsoft store and sometimes neat promotional lounges for late night tv fans, certain types of credit card holders among other happenings. This place has decent public restrooms and water fountains.

This company needs the State Attorney General and ...

This company needs the State Attorney General and FCC to investigate for "Bait and Switch" as part of their regular business practice. Their representative described a plan that seemed reasonable and fair. The installation was quick and "seemingly" painless. The exorbitant charge that you receive on your bill is NO WHERE close to what you discussed with the representative.

The $256 monthly charge for the bombardment of commercials wasn't exactly what I wanted or needed.

If you order the internet ONLY here's a breakdown of monthly charges (individually):
1) Modem (box) $34.99
2) Internet (sending the signal) $5.99
3) Built-in-wifi ( your wireless connection to internet IN THE APARTMENT) $4.95

My suggestion tell them keep the wifi fee and buy a decent router from Best Buy for somewhere between $40-$80 for a better (faster) and more reliable wifi signal.

Their wifi signal drops in and out all day and night- without cause.

As for the modem- Their additional speed for 25mbs is BARELY (if even possible) noticeable from the 15mbs basic package. When can consumers decide EXACTLY what they want.

The modem they "give" (loan) which is usually a used/old box needs to be upgraded (shortly after they drop it off) and when you get fed up with their sub-par and overpriced service(and you will) they want you to take time off YOUR schedule to bring them back the box- WAIT on line at their rude, poorly-trained, unprofessional customer service reps that frustrate you by RECITING company policy to prolong the process of ending the relationship.

Our government needs to stop allowing these companies to write and enact policies that address the drive for profit and very little if any concern for the consumer.

Despite buying my own top-of-the-line router and modem, I'm experiencing 30-min outages at least once a week. Often due to maintenance work. At this stage, I expect my high speed internet to be up 24x7
