I fired TWC as my cable/internet provider and nothing has felt more relieving. TWC is a burden on society and should be eliminated from NYC as a cable/internet option. Same stories as above. Can't wait to finish this off in person later today...

this is my first time here. my first impression on NYC. Wanted to find a place to meet friends. its a great place for relaxation and chilling, but not for shopping. there are just a few brands, a very big two floor H&M looks nice. I also find a few good restaurants for dining in.

A charming mall. It has famous stores and is expensive. In the basement there is a mini supermarket with many varieties of fruits, drinks and self-service food to buy and take home. One option for women is that there is a Sephora at this mall.

One of my favourite places to visit when in Nyc. A part from the chouce of great restaurants, I like to spend time watching Lincoln Circle and the corner of Central Park 'framed' through the glass windows of the Time Warner Center. From the second level the view is spectacular.

I like using the toilets because I get urges to poop while whistling out front for nickels. The Whole Foods downstairs have food and beverages which I like to browse at while jangling my pocket filled with nickels.

The security yelled at me for taking photos in the mall. It s a very beautiful place with nice views of Columbus Circle but I won t be giving my business to a place that enforces laws like this in a free country. I felt like I was back in Dubai or something especially when he put his hand in front of my camera. Free promotion for the mall and I get confronted and told off. Screw this place!

I like the look and feel of the place but in the end, it's an overglorified mall for the rich. There's only so much window shopping you can do. Pass up the stores and go straight to the public bathrooms on the 2nd floor or go to the Museum of Arts and Design across the street for better entertainment. You'll be glad you did.

Beautiful little mall, part of the Mandarin Oriental building. They have hanging glass stars for Christmas which light up to music, on a Columbus Circle backdrop, which is stunning. People at the 3rd floor cafe are way too snobby and you have to buy a full lunch to be seated, even though they call themselves a bakery it seems coffee and pastries at $14 won't cut it. Bathrooms available on every floor and they are clean. Mall has a lot of security.

This building is an icon like no other. A photographers paradise. Great for sightseeing, shopping and people watching. Not to mention many places to eat and live entertainment. Oh, people also live, work and stay fit here. And it also has a hotel.

Time Warner is obviously a front for Kim Jong-un and North Korea. Repeatedly throughout the President's State of the State of the Union Address tonight Time Warner cable reception kept going in and out. Calls to their Customer Service Department only yielded poorly read scripts by those with the problem solving skills of Time Warner's technicians who have been out three times to "fix" the problem. If you own TWC dump it now! The upward trend since the split of 2009 is bound to reverse, given Time Warner's unwavering commitment to poor service.

Time Warner Center offers a huge variety. Shopping, entertainment and dining! I have been to several tapings of The Anderson Cooper show as well as shopping at some of their stores. There is even a Whole Foods! AND you can live there too! Great fun all around and super easy access to the A, B, C, D & 1 trains.

I called to report problem with cable and got a very argumentative representative with an attitude problem. Previous experience was a good one but this guy has a problem and brings it to the customers; that's not what a customer rep should do. The guy didn't list to my problem but just kept interrupting me with nonsense and telling me I was wrong!! LOL It's time for TW to clean out the office and get with dealing with the people who pay them. What a joke that is,LOL.
Sdrew your nasty representatives.

My experience with Time Warner, bedtime horror sto...

My experience with Time Warner, bedtime horror story for your kids:

Obviously it is nothing new that Time Warner's custom service is the pinnacle of stupidity and apathy.

But It still makes one wonder how humanity managed to produce off-springs that fill the ranks of TWC's customer service department.

Here is my story:

Chapter 1 -

I had the 10Mbs plan and wanted to upgrade to the 30Mbs plan.

I ordered the upgrade online, received an email that my plan has take effect. Great!

But ... my speed was still 10Mbs. After waiting on the phone for 30 mins, found out that I needed to upgrade the modem. "No problem, I thought ... Just mail it".

5 days passes, "Where is my modem" I asked. "We shipped it ... you should get it in a few days" replied the Custom Rep, to which I asked "can I have a tracking number?". "No you can't ... we don't have the tracking number ... in fact I don't know if the modem is shipped to you ... I just assumed because we typically ship them in 2 business days".

At this point, there is no assurance that I will have the modem, so I offered to pick it up instead.

Fast-forward to the next day ... I waited on line at the TWC store and took home what I thought was a functional modem, wrapped in grocery bag quality plastic. Long behold ... I was given the wrong power cord.

That's right, the custom rep at the store was so utterly incompetent that they couldn't just hand me the right equipment from a locker room.

"Everybody makes mistakes I thought".

After procuring the right power-cord (from Radio Shack ... an minor but out-of-pocket expense), it turned out the modem itself is also broken.

"Wow" I thought, Time-Warner must be really hate their customers.

So I decided to purchase my own modem. To be fair, their website was easy to navigate, and I was able to find the correct model to purchase ... but that is about the only good piece of feedback I have for them.

After buying my own modem. I followed their instruction and provided TWC with the MAC Address of my modem ... annnnd of course it didn't work.

After a frustrating 3 hour phone conversation with their custom service department I still had no working internet. But the idiotic being on the other line did offer to walk me through how to setup a Roadrunner Email account.

"I do not want an email account, I want a working internet ... " I said, to which she replied "Sir, you will have to stay with me on the phone, and be patient if you want to setup a Roadrunner Email account". At this point, any reasonable human being would have lost it. But before I can explode into anger, I was transferred to another custom rep (the 4th time now)

Finally ... finally ... after a sensible member of the human specie answered the phone ... and figured out a simple typo on the part of the 1st rep caused all my troubles with the new modem and the issue was resolved.

This concludes my first mind-numbing experience with TWC.

Chapter 2 -

I was gearing up to move to my new apartment (40 blocks away).

So call TWC to inform them I will be moving. I was promised that my service would transfer to the new address seamlessly. I was assured everything was in order at my new location and no technician visit would be required and no fee would be assessed.

But OF COURSE that was not the case. I did not have internet access at my new address.

TWC contradicted themselves and said I would need to pay a installation fee, and the visit would be scheduled 3 weeks out!

Since Verizon FIOs was an option at my new apartment ... I immediately told TWC I would not be continuing my service with them.

Magically ... the fee was waived, and the technician visit moved up to just two weeks away!

Tired of TWC's incompetency, dishonesty and complete lack of common sense. I made up my mind to switch to Verizon anyway. The TWC custom rep LIED once again and told me I could NOT cancel my service. "I cannot terminate your service, I will need to transfer you to my supervisor"

After another 3 ROUNDS of transfers just to cancel my service, alas my service was terminated.

Used to work in the vicinity until retiring. Recently noticed the monumental lobby Botero sculptures had restored dark patina where tourists had "pubicly" previously, for luck, rubbed metal to a golden hue. May Eve and Adam ever guard this former Coliseum vault.

Nice place to hang out, shop, and eat, but there is no place to lounge or hang out with out having to purchase something. It would be nice to have a permanent seating area somewhere on the first or second floor. Free wifi would be good too!

Mall of Cyclic proportions. Charming.

Mall of Cyclic proportions. Charming.
Bright and well-distributed place: it hosts more or less forty shops, restaurants, disco, theater and super-stylish apartments.
Reachable using the means
(subway) A, B, C, D - if memory helps me - 1st stop: 59th st-Columbus Circle. Accessible to disabled people.
I think it opens at 10 up to 21:30 more or less.
RECOMMENDED.

Great spot if it's cold outside and you're wanting to be entertained for a bit without having to pop into and out of stores. Nice and bright Sephora here. Miss the Borders. Get there early on the weekend and perhaps you'll luck into some fresh donuts at Bouchon Bakery!

This is a truly beautiful mall. The one thing I really love to hear is the Russian language being spoken, it is nostalgic for me because I too speak it but rarely ever hear it spoken when I am out. My father was born in the USSR and moved to America and we spoke the language. This mall has great shops, restaurants and the beautiful Russians make this mall what is is by giving it a alot of class. .

Service was great for about eight months. Now when we receive a call we loose our roadrunner internet connection. Called tech support several times. Two service calls which pointed outside our residence! Still no resolve and now contacted the corporate office, who knows!

Great spot to grab a bite or some luxury goods or kitchenware.

You could also go for shopping at The Whole Foods. It's very busy, so you can't say you haven't been warned.

I love Bouchon bakery. The Landmarc restaurant is GREAT for dining with kids. The last time we ate there it was teeming with so many kids, I thought I was dining in a sandbox.

Avoce was good, but we haven't been back since Missy Robbins was the chef. It does have a great view of the Park.
