We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. If you are going to an event there, the main entrance is a short walk across the street, or you can take the elevated walkway that is accessible from the parking garage. The room was clean and had been renovated recently. Our bathroom had a shower only, which was poorly designed. The glass door closest to the faucet does not move, so you had to be in the shower to turn it on! That initial blast of cold water can be quite jarring. If you are using the pullout bed in the living area of the suite, you may be disturbed by the constant noise from the atrium. Luckily we have a deep sleeper that was not bothered. The breakfast every morning was excellent with plenty of hot choices for everyone. The reception each night was a nice opportunity to get some snacks and drinks. Our only complaints were the extremely slow elevators and very cold pool. If you use a ride sharing service, there are always plenty of cars nearby. We would stay at this hotel again!

was pleasantly surprised to be here after a delay in our flight and staying in Chicago over night. hotel is clean, room was spacious, staff was accommodating. they do have amenities such as cribs and pack'n'plays if needed which was great traveling with a small child.

The room was pretty nice but the elevator situation could have been better. With lots of people in for a convention it was almost impossible to go anywhere without using the stairs. The complementary breakfast and happy hour were definitely a plus though.

Always a nice stay when here. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. The staff is very kind and accommodating always super helpful and happy to help. The food at the restaurant is well proved and delicious. I would definitely recommend staying here, you'll have a great, relaxing time.

Good basic hotel with great complimentary breakfast and evening drinks. Elevators are old and unreliable, which deducted from otherwise good hotel experience. Lots of good restaurants nearby and good airfield/downtown connection Convenience stores ar a tad far away however.

Why is there no check-in's until 2 or 3? There are people behind the desk literally have enough time to talk, laugh, and meow to a cat but can't check people in? Is there a specific reason for this? I don't understand?

The hotel is decent. It's what one would expect for such a huge amount of money. My problem is with the parking situation. As is obvious in the pictures I took for this review, the signage that is meant to direct guests to the proper parking garage is too small to notice and confusing even if one sees it. As I passed the main entrance to Embassy Suites on my right, I looked up and was naturally drawn to the very large and prominently marked parking garage straight ahead of me. This is where I parked. In the photo, on the right, a small unlit sign can be seen that says hotel parking on it. Yes, I took this picture during the day so I realize why it's not lit. However, I arrived at night and it was unlit then. One could make a week argument that I could have seen the sign. But look more closely at it and you will notice an arrow pointing straight ahead that should very clearly be pointing to the right since that is where the garage is. And yes, I see the tiny little line going to the right before it turns upward which is where you see the arrow pointing straight towards the other parking garage. That is confusing. A better sign would be one with an arrow pointing to the right with no redirection upward. Like the ones pointing to the lobby and restaurant. There's more. I would have just paid the overpriced 15 dollar amount and gone home, but I was given serious attitude by the attendant stealing my money as if I were a moron for parking there and a liar for saying I was told that my parking would be free. To be fair, this person has nothing to do with Embassy Suites. Nonetheless, it was the beginning of my mood change. So, I decided to go back to the hotel to ask them why the manager who checked me in informed me that he decided to give me free parking. The door man asked me how I was and I calmly said, "Not so great", and told him why. His facial expression immediately changed from one of welcoming to one of annoyance. He then repeatedly and rudely told me that the NEVER have free parking. My mood got worse at that point because I don't like being called a liar. Directly or indirectly, it's still being called a liar. I then approached the desk and explained the whole situation. They were more understanding although also lied to me and said there is never free parking. When I explained that I was undoubtedly offered it and why, they admitted that managers do have the ability to grant free parking. They then called for the manager who never showed up after three pages. I was never given a refund or told what my next step would be to pursue this matter further. Finally, I was forced to press for specific information on who I needed to contact. You may be thinking that I am a petty and cheap person. If you are, you are wrong. What bothers me infinitely more than the money is the way I was treated with complete indifference. I don't think I deserve special treatment. I just think that all human beings are equal and should treat eachother accordingly. Even though opening hotel doors for paying hotel guests is a very demanding job that requires tremendous skill, executive door opening professionals need to understand that they are no more valuable, as humans, than other human beings. Especially the ones who have no clue what the company policy is, yet emphatically insist that they do.

Very rude Food & Beverage Manager, Henry...over priced food for the quality. The Managers Reception was poorly managed, the had a line out of the room with only one bartender waiting on people and the manager stood around and refused to help him!!! Horrible service!!!

Wonderful staff, conveniently located by the entertainment district and lots of things within walking distance. Covered parking structure. Indoor pool and workout area. Breakfast is decent, but could be better. Staff is super friendly.

We both had fish I had the Chilean sea bass and wife had the Salmon both fish were excellent. The potatoes on the other hand were terrible we had to chock them down. They tasted like they had been under a warmer for 3 days and so dry. The mashed had a similar feel an taste but not as bad. Service was great.

Location was great for an evening out. We could walk to the MB Financial park through the parking garage. Disappointed that the Embassy did not fulfill any if the requests I made prior to the arrival. I had requested a wine and cheese tray and extra towels.

Spacious, clean suite. Excellent breakfast and happy hour. Unfortunately, the fitness room was too small to accommodate all who wished to use it and the wifi signal was incredibly weak in my room.

Great airport hotel, old but very well maintained, huge rooms, tasteful decor. The meat hamburger fridges from the diner downstairs is huge and sensational. Staff speak fluent Spanish.

This has been the worst Embassy Suites experience I've ever had. We requested a handicap accessible room and were told we would have a roll in shower. The first room was not accessible so they gave us a new room, that room had cigarette smoke everywhere and filthy candy wrappers in the room. They gave us a third room and this room has a sliding bathroom door that won't open or close and the shower floods the whole bathroom and the door that separates the living room to the bedroom gets jammed and my daughter keeps getting locked in because she can't open it. I've had to mop the floor with towels to prevent my handicap mother from falling in the bathroom, she is not able to use the restroom without one of us opening and closing the bathroom door and the set up of the bathroom has already resulted in two injuries since we've been here. We also had to call and tell security about cigarette smoke coming through the bathroom vents which resulted in my children coughing all night from a smoke filled room and out of the multiple complaints from me, my husband and my mother nothing has been resolved. Sadly they charge you for your full stay at check in so we are stuck here until Wednesday when we leave. This is so sad that our family vacation had to be like this. $1206.00 and for what, a horrible experience. The security man has been the best person out of all of this.

Nice rooms - service lousy! Doorman watched me struggle with bags, room service never answered after repeated calls, rude when I had to head down to the resturant. Would not care if I had not been traveling for 9 hours...just wanted to relax....should have stayed somewhere else.

Embassy Suites beats aloft hands down. I don't have any complaints what so ever. Complimentary drinks and snacks from 5:30-7:30, and an excellent breakfast for us all included. It was our anniversary and we couldn't have asked for a better place in Rosemont to saty. Will go back and will suggest to friends and family. Though they had upgrades going on, it was only noticeable when we left the room and confined to a portion of the hotel. Oh, the room has two 50" tv's in it. One in the living room/office area and one in the bedroom. Yes, there is a door to shut between the two if you have kids and the adults want to have alone time. I'd give it a 10 star if I could. Friendly staff as well.

The interior was nice and the staff was friendly. Some maintenance issues, though. They had to move us once because the toilet didn't work. Then, in the new room the toilet paper roll dispenser was broken. Also, on our return trip, the (pretty cool) crib was missing a screw making one corner of the bed collapse if slept upon. The replacement crib was fine, but not as cool.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites to attend the Anime Midwest convention. It's conveniently located across the street from the convention center and Hyatt hotel where other aspects of the event we're taking place. I stayed on the second floor near the elevator banks. I highly recommend getting a room on the second floor. The elevators are extremely slow and sometimes faulty, like skipping floors. It's quick and easy access moving from the lobby to the second floor. My suite was decent, but the bathroom could definitely use an update. The parking is expensive at $26 a day, but you are allowed in/out privileges. So if you want to drive out to dinner, a bar, etc... You can do so without incurring additional fees. Overall my stay was decent and I'd possibly stay again or maybe look at the DoubleTree across the street.

Room & amenities are nice, food is good. What ruins the experience is the extremely loud air conditioning units located in the center of the suite. Can t believe they chose to engineer the rooms as such. Will have to turn off the air conditioning just sleep tonight!

This embassy suites has a huge and beautiful atrium to hang out with. It is always my favorite part. The suites are great and roomy as always.Complementary breakfast is included. It is nice, because you get to create omelettes.
