Classic Embassy Suites rooms, living room area with kitchen and then a separate bedroom. Great if you have a kid or two but still want some quiet adult time. Complimentary happy hour is awesome, beer and wine for Mom and Dad, juice and dogs for the kids, and snacks for all. Breakfast was a nice hot selection with fresh fruit and cereals as well. If I had to complain about something, the elevators are crazy slow. Like, really slow. Hilton does it again, with another great place to stay.

Stayed there memorial day weekend with my friends to celebrate my birthday. Booked a room thru a travel agent with specific requirements for two double beds. When we checked in, they give us 1 king bed with conference room for 3 people and were unwilling to change the room and not willing to give a refund. We asked for a rollaway bed and were told they couldn't due to fire code but offered to bring extra blankets, my friend ended up sleeping on the floor. In addition, 2 of the 3 elevators were not working and the one was super slow. For breakfast, no plates were available and had to tell them several times to bring clean plates. They offered yogurt for breakfast and none ever brought out. Hotel outdated and not very clean. Will NOT be staying there ever again! Worst stay ever and now hotel manager not returning my travel agent's phone calls.
Very nice Hotel and good price to boot. My only complaint is that the elevators are very slow, it's faster to walk up the stairs then wait for the elevator. Has great Wifi and the complementary breakfast and drinks in the evening were great.
The Embassy Suites is always my preferred hotel and I have stayed at the O Hare/Rosemont location on many occasions. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and right behind the Parkway Bank Park (walking distance)which features bars and restaurants and in front of the Stephens Convention Center. The room was clean, spacious, and a suite. What I have come to expect of an Embassy suite. Check-In was fairly easily, however don t expect to have the digital key load to your phone without a stop at the front desk. I would say this is the only drawback. The on-site bar is well stocked and can be delivered to your room with a push of a button.
I'll start with the elevators, while at the annual party I attended I mentioned the elevators didn't open when it stopped at my floor when I tried to use them and were extremely slow the entire time and they confirmed that it was the same last year. In addition the rooms got extremely warm if any more than a few people were in them. Otherwise they were large and seemed nice with nice big screen TVs
I was relaxing with my family by the atrium and there was little kids running around playing Tag and they were hanging off the edges playing pushing buttons on the elavator and going to every floor and running around. Also, we called the manager and there was nothing done about it the parents are not saying or doing anything to their kids and that we came here to relax For the weekend . I come here every year with my family and this was the first year I am disappointed and I will not be returning here. I didn't come here to be aggravated and nervous.
Each day housekeeper cleaned room as if I had left which means they tossed my food, my personal under garments, opened the drawers and took clothes out....which were never found but replaced with new gift shop items. A tee shirt, a pair of underwear and socks. They replaced my food by complementary dinner at Basil but it was not the food I usually eat. The pool is down so you have to leave the complex and go to a neighbor hotel. The parking is a mile high hike no matter how you look at it. The promise on day one was that housekeeping would refrain from tossing my food but to my frustration they did not and each day became increasingly more uncomfortable. My home away from home was complicated by my need to carry my belongings with me in my car lest I return to find large ticket items missing too. I am sorry to make such an unpleasant report. I really looked for something to like here but the free breakfast didn't make the difference here, rather skip it. Also, evening receptions were not inclusiveness to non drinkers. They were sorely prepared to make a virgin drink that had a reception feeling....complemented by bar nuts, pretzels and cold veggies....I sought out local happy hour buffets and found better offerings elsewhere to include wings, cheeses, and and assortment of canopies. The fruit was consistent. In the morning, red apples, yellow apples, bananas, cantaloupe and melon. In the evening, just melon. Not a berry to be found. Not a green apple with cheese, or pate...or canopies. I guess I just expected more from a Hilton.
Toilet wouldn't stop running. Room was above expectations however. Skywalk very convenient for Hyatt and convention center. Dividing door got stuck twice and maintenance couldn't fix it. He resigned to breaking the handle off with a hammer and one of our roommates at the hotel room had to finish the job. We got a comped night and free parking, but our roommates did get trapped twice. The free breakfast was also quite distasteful.
Overall, I d stay here again for the location, large rooms, awesome breakfast, and general flow of the property. Service was good and friendly. Condition is old and rooms are in dire need of repair and updating. They do the best they can to keep it clean despite the condition. Only other drawback is that walls are well insulated for sound, however, there s a metal strip along window between rooms and every single conversation can be heard as the sound travels between rooms at that point. Neighbors kept us up until 3am each night and we heard everything they said.
The staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was great, and the rooms were massive! The fitness area was nice, I didn't have to wait for anyone to use the equipment I wanted, but on a busier weekend this might be an issue.
Solid hotel for the price, service and location to the convention center. They had a daily "gathering" which featured snacks and drinks. They had a good breakfast selection as you would expect at any hotel (they have an omlet station). Room seemed we'll maintained and possibly recently updated as the hotel seems a little older. I'd stay again!
Located across from the Donald E Stephens Rosemont Convention Center, this is hands-down the best place for lunch when you've got limited time. The menu is short, but has something for everyone. And short menus keep the kitchen turning out food quickly. The food quality isn't on par with Gibson's next door, but you're also paying much less and getting out faster. 5 stars for relative bang for your buck.
My room on the fifth floor didn't have a great view outside, but the rooms are well insulated from noise, have lots of space, and sections of the room are seperated with a door - great for little ones!
I wasn't impressed... The website looks much better than the actual hotel. Totally not worth the high price to stay there. Couldn't find a glass of wine after 1130.
Rooms have huge double doors that let in lots of light. Also the whole building is a giant open floor plan, so you can hear everything, from any room, any floor.
We got the King bed 2 room suite. The room was spacious. It had amenities such as microwave, mini fridge, in room safe, two TV's. The room was priced accordingly. The room included a hot cooked to order breakfast. We were satisfied with our stay and would stay there again.
Beautiful hotel. Food vouchers were great for breakfasts. Food was good. Rooms were standard and we'll taken care of. Didn't notice anything over the top. Walkway to the convention center was really nice.
Our room was great. The complimentary happy hour & breakfast were perfect. The staff were very friendly & accommodating. The only downfall for us was the hot tub was out of order & we had been looking forward to that as part of our stay.
I have to say this has been the worst hotel. When you call the front desk or house keeping the phone just rings. The elevators are very sluggish. Meals served in the restaurant in the evening are sub standard.
The room was perfect...and that's where the perfection ends. The elevators were sketchy at best - sometimes not opening, sometimes moving after the doors opened. I repeatedly heard the buzzer indicating someone had pushed the alarm button in the elevator. The only way to get a warm breakfast from the buffet was to get an omelette - everything else was cold both mornings I went. And I mean COLD, like having sat there for an hour cold. We went to the bar for dinner on Saturday night - around 8:30, and at that time not a lot of people there. It took over an hour to get simple sandwiches and tacos. I love Hilton brand hotels and this was just a massive disappointment.
Rooms are large and space! However, room I was needs some maintenance. The door nob in the bathroom is falling out and the shower curtain is almost fall out as well. Prevent it from closing all the way. Some of the staff I had encounters were either rude or I felt didn't care, especially in the restaurant. I had thought one of waiters had given me an extra menu, but rather rudely replied that I was wrong. We also had repeat out orders to him many time in order for him to understand. Also, when I would use the elevators, I would sometimes get trapped inside for almost 10 minutes! Very scary!
Excellent Hospitality, neatly maintained rooms and nice restaurant ambiance ! loved staying here for 2 nights. Professional staff and wonderful ladies at the frontdesk. Needless to mention about the lady with the head scarf and her awesome engaging and inquisitive personality. Planning to stay here for my next trip as well !!
Location is a little confusing as there are three Hilton properties adjacent to each other. Some aircraft noise but not too bad. Standard Embassy Suites experience.
You know if this place were any where else it would probably get 5 stars. The problem is the people. They are all so ride it's like they dare you you to say something so they ca start a fight.
My wife and I stayed here years ago due to access to the Rosemont CTA stop. Seems like the place has gone down in the past 8 or so years. The room seemed worn. The mini fridge was missing and the door between the bedroom and living room had two holes in it. One for the missing door knob and a second due to prior damage.
The TV in the living room had to be controlled by the controls on the side.
A call to the front desk went unanswered. We just got ice for our cooler and made due without a fridge and remote control for the TV.
The breakfast was good as usual. Many of the guests were animals, well kids who were not well disciplined by their parents. One child climbed throught the fake plants to grab a hand full of bacon from the hot table. No parents nor staff were policing the scene.
The fitness room was ok. The Precor machine was missing some parts, but I was able to make a workout for me and my daughter from what still worked.
I would think long and hard about returing. Seems like maintenance is not happening so what is going on where we cannot see.
If someone has to sleep on the sofa sleeper, the hall light is very bright and terrible for sleeping. They do not provide blinders or shades. The room smelled like bleach. To make matters worse, they noisily slid the invoice under the door @ 3:00 am.
