Stayed overnight before early flight out the next day. Staff was extremely friendly, the 2nd and 3rd floors were undergoing renovations, but did not effect stay. Room didn't seem to earn up, no matter what I set to to. Bath tub looked a little used. Bed was comfy, and room was spacious. Did the job for a quick overnight.

It s really run down. Needs lots of updates. Breakfast was terrible. Made to order omelet was the only positive thing about my whole experience... such a disappointment. I love embassy suits just not this location...

Ah, the memories brought back by my impromptu visit here due to a flight cancellation. The hotel was nearby to the airport in an area I have visited several times over the past few years when I attended Riot Fest. Friendly staff checked me in quickly and my room was super nice. Had an early dinner at the bar and a couple of tasty beverages. Returned to my room, turned on Forensic Files and promptly fell asleep since i had left Wyoming earlier that morning.

Great place to stay!

Not a huge fan of this hotel, but it has it's pluses. Negatives: not a fan of the hotel layout, don't like the conference table in my room taking up all the room, no hot tub, no sauna, AC is weak, and can't open the windows. Nice things are that the room is clean, the staff is nice, good breakfast, and nice manager's reception.

five stars for mark maiorano, director of catering! we spent the week meeting wedding coordinators at twelve locations in chicago, he was by far the most personable, professional, and genuine one we met with.

Very nice rooms, great happy hour! BUT! be very careful parking in the $28 paid parking and then having your car broken into or vandalized. Front desk will tell you to call the police then they say it's your own fault and insurance will have to cover it..... I think that with 90% people having $500 deductable it's a great scam!
And Manager Andy...Thanks for returning my call five days later.....

I arrived at 4:30 and sat in my car at the valet sign and waited 30 minutes for a valet. No one came so I checked in with my app. Locked my car, and went up to my room, the appopened my room door. My room was very hot, the thermostat was set to 60 so the maid must have known that my room was hot, which made me mad that no one did anything about it prior to my arrival. There was a line at the desk going out the door and around the corner so I couldn't tell them, not yet any way. I went to my bathroom in room 717 and the paint was peaking from the ceiling in the shower. I was disgusted. I went down for drinks at 5:30 and gave my keys to the valet. I sat in the hotel restaurant and waited until 8:30pm when the line was finally gone. I told the desk my room was hot, she said she would send someone up. At 10:30 at night no one showed up so I had to call again. He arrived past bed time at 11pm and it took him 30 minutes to suck water out of the AC with tools. He left and my room was still hot. I couldn't sleep. At 4:30am the room cooled down but was probably because it got cooler outside.

Overall very good. The rooms are large, but the sheets, towels, and room feel cheap. The breakfast was so so, but overall very nice and close proximity to the convention center and airport.

An updated property with some throw-back charms. Nice big TV's, great hot breakfast and a basic evening reception made for a pleasant overnight stay. Shuttle runs regularly to the airline terminal, but does NOT service Signature Flight Support.

Got stuck in Chicago, thanks to my airline for mechanical delays. This was the hotel that I was put up in. It actually wasn't so bad for being a hotel airport. My only real complaint is the shuttle system to get to the hotel. Turns out it actually doesn't come to the terminal unless you call them to. Well the lady at the airline desk didn't tell us that. It took some time for them to come after making multiple calls to the hotel.

Check in took a while since there was an entire shuttle full of us. The hotel was nice for the most part. It's interesting all rooms have glass doors looking in with curtains. The carpet made it a little hard to wheel my suitcase though. The room was very large, it has a sitting area with a TV and a wet bar area with a small fridge and microwave. There is a door to close off the area. The bathroom is in the room side and there is also another sink in the room in addition to the one in the bathroom ad the wet bar for a total of 3 sinks. A little odd to me.

The bathroom was clean it wasn't in bad shape. The only real complaint was the toiletries were terrible. The body soap was very rough and dry. I wasn't a fan of the shampoo or conditioner either. I normally bring my own stuff but I was getting stranded there so I had already discarded/used all my stuff.

The bed wasn't bad as to comfort. It looks like it has seen better days and needs to be updated to meet bed bug issues.

My real issue was the outlet plug was extremely difficult to get to the ones near the bed. There are two bed side tables in the room I was in. They each had a lamp but the outlet was in the extreme corner away from the bed. You had to move the entire side table out to get to it. It was very dusty back there too. It was poorly planned on that part. I ended up just plugging all my stuff in near the 3rd sink outlet in the room.

They offer free breakfast but I did not stay long enough to enjoy that. I took the first flight out of Chicago to get back home. I did however order room service and that was a terrible experience in it's own. I tried calling room service from my hotel phone. I called twice and the phone rang for a total of about 30 minutes before I gave up. I also attempted to call the front desk with that phone no answer either. It was strange and very annoying. I finally gave up and used my own cell phone to call the hotel and then was transferred to room service, where I could finally place my order. I ordered Chicken Tenders and was told it would be to my room in 30 minutes. After about 45 minutes I gave up and went to take a shower. Apparently in that time they came and then when I was about to go to bed they called me to see if I still wanted the items. I agreed since I was starving. It came up after about 10-15 minutes. The girl was extremely nice, but the food was terrible. It clearly came straight from a freezer, but there was no consistency in the chicken tenders. There were tiny pieces large pieces, very strange. The fries were awful as well. I wasn't expecting much from the hotel room service, but I was starving and for the price it's really not worth it if you don't have any other choice.

I give this place a 3 because the room itself was good, but the other accommodations that comes with the hotel is not that great. If you are looking for a reasonable nights sleep this place is okay. But if you need other amenities, this may not be the place for you.

Handicapped parking was a joke. You had to cross over curbs, navigate around huge shuttle busses, insufficient lighting, huge dips and pot holes in the parking spaces. Very sad expressly for the price charged to park there.

The hotel was a pleasant welcome after the long drive. Room was clean and comfortable. Noise does find its way into the room from the atrium. Breakfast was delicious. Happy hour was great! Internet speeds we're 15mbs up and down, and consistent.

Its a ok room worth about 100 to 135 dollars a night. Complementary breakfast is nice and staff were friendly. No valet parking which is a must in the winter season. Over all i give it 3 stars for fair!

I am a fairly frequent traveler to the area and have stayed here many times. I have always been very happy with the manager's reception in the evening and the breakfast in the morning (complete with omelets!). The staff is always courteous and the rooms are clean. The place was getting a little run down, so they recently gave the rooms a much needed refresh. The new rooms are quite nice although they didn't touch the electrical or HVAC. During my most recent stay the climate control didn't work. I didn't complain as it seemed to be stuck at 72. Other than that, everything worked well and the service was as great as always. I'll see you again soon!

This is the hotel that my airline offered me a discount code for after a flight issue. I was pretty ok with it because it has a pool, complementary breakfast and huge 2 room suites. Or so it advertised. First, the pool was closed so they offered to let me use the pool at another hotel. I got dressed for the pool and went to the other hotel, but the pool was not opened the hours that Embassy told me that was. I didn t get to use a pool. Next, I had an early flight, before breakfast. They offered to make early flight passengers to-go breakfast boxes. In the morning, the staff told me that they forgot to make them . There was no breakfast. The room was huge, but the walls were paper thin. I heard ALL of the bathroom noises from my neighbors. There was no shower pressure. It was also weird that this huge suite didn t have a full length mirror. The free 10 min shuttle .....yeah, I d plan closer to 20-25 mins. It makes several stops. Not happy about this situation.

Untrustworthy. I left an envelope with $101 in my room after checking out. I called back same day and left message, and 3 other times with no call back. Shady employees and I will be complaining to corporate

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were excellent, the staff were kind and helpful, and free cocktails in the evening didn't hurt! We were travelling with a 10 month-old and they were very accommodating. Five stars.

I stayed with my wife and dog on a one night stay, Sunday to Monday. I really enjoyed the stay. My highlights are a gorgeous room that had all the amenities (including three sinks!), complimentary evening reception with booze and snacks, complimentary breakfast with made to order omelets, pet friendly for my 40 pound vizsla, close to the highway and airport, and very friendly staff. I like to think I'm easy to please but there were a few gripes including finding something in the room from the past person (fake rose petal?) under the bed, ongoing construction that was part of a renovation, and what really kept it from 5/5 stars was the expensive parking. I understand city parking is tight but by the looks of available parking, $26 for one night is unnecessary. The positives do out weigh the negatives by far and I would book a room again.

If you plan to stay at this hotel, plan to spend either most of your time in the room or out of it, making sure you limit thr number of times you use the elevators. They're extremely slow and repeatedly break down on multiple levels, multiple times a day, trapping people for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. The hotel, despite knowing this issue, let the elevators continue to be used, creating an enormous safety issue, especially if a medical incident happens as the person would not be able to get help at all for some time. It is a mistake to have hydraulic piston powered elevators for an 8 story building. Just hope that you aren't on the 8th floor, or wanting to get on an elevator on the bottom floor, as you'll spend at least 5 minutes waiting for it when it happens to not be broken down. The hotel staff, for the most part, are quite nice, but there appears to be a heavy lack of communication. For the breakfast, they give you a card to show them for getting the meal, but they can't seem to consistently inform people on how many you need. The front desk tells you that you only need one for the group, and they only give you a couple for the room, no matter how many people you have listed on it, and the person checking the card at the buffet tells you they need one per person, borderline chastising you like a child if you don't have it, despite being told originally the opposite. In fact, they didn't even bother checking for the cards for the first couple days of the stay, leading to the appearance they you didn't need the cards at first. Overall, the rooms are nice, large, and comfortable despite feeling a it dated, even though they've been remodeled, but I highly recommend ANY of the several other hotels in the area right beside it as their slightly smaller standard room size is more than made up by the amenities that the hotels can properly provide. This hotel is also not connected to the sky bridge, despite it running right beside the hotel itself.

I usually stay here every year for a convention, and for the convention at least it seems to get worse and worse in terms of policies. I get why they are there but forcing guests to wear bracelets that are not removable for the duration of their stay is annoying. Without them you can get breakfast or go to the managers reception that any other time of year you can go to without issue. Room this year is having ac issues so it's rather humid and uncomfortable.

Rough stay during mommycon. Elevators were out off and on and we were on the fifth floor with someone with bad knees. Long waits for the elevator when it was working due to only having one. House keeping would walk in with little notice.

Great breakfast and friendly staff. Bed was comfortable but the room needs a lot of work. For what they charge I expect a lot more care. Nice that there's a lot to do within walking distance of the hotel.

Very disappointed in Antonio that was working the breakfast area this morning. Breakfast ends at 9:00 AM and tried to get a cup of coffee to go at 9:15. Roller door was half shut with coffee cups sitting there and the coffee machine. Was told WE ARE CLOSED AND YOU CAN'T GET COFFEE. I DON'T MAKE THE RULES. It is just a cup of coffee... everything is still there. Asked the front desk if there was coffee since the restaurant was closed and they said "you will have to walk across the street to the Hilton". So this a very strict hotel when it comes to coffee. Glad you have Antonio on the case to police the coffee station. I will be staying at another property the next time I am at Ohare.

We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed our experience. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety as did the complimentary snacks and cocktails each evening. Our room was well maintained, spacious and very quiet considering how busy the hotel was over all. We slept well each night.

A bonus were the nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel plus it's right across the street from the convention center.

We would definitely stay here again.

Yogurt being available is so great. It is the small items that are grains we see towards perfection in life.

Great places like this make it so for their guests with the kindest actions.

Ola T. HGV greeted and guided us so well we changed our booking from another hotel to here and John from Troutdale made it golden!

Big rooms and shuttle are the only redeeming things about this place. Facilities are run down, AC not working, lifts are slow, WiFi is free but slow, drains are plugged, carpets are stained. I'll not use this one again.

Rooms were nice & clean. Though the doors all have windows with frosted glass, and no curtains, so the light from the hall came into the room where my kids slept all night. Poor design. The gym was nice, once I finally found it--signs not real clear. The pool area was also dirty and had no towels, though someone came to clean it shortly after we mentioned it to the front desk. Had trouble with the wifi almost the whole stay. It was crowded and they seemed a bit ill prepared for it...long lines at breakfast, long lines to get help at front desk, lots of waiting for slow elevators, etc. No major issues, but definitely not up to par with other Embassy Suites where we have stayed.

All the staff has been very courteous and helpful. We have two couples staying in a room with a queen bed and a pull out sofa bed. When we asked for an extra pillow and blanket, and they gave us 4 pillows and 2 blankets and made sure we were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was great-included scrambled eggs, bacon, etc and not just bagel, muffin, fruit bar. There was even a made to order omelet bar. The room was very clean and stocked. Overall, very satisfied.

Super disappointed in our stay this weekend. Our first impression was great, but then the bathroom doors were broken, the showers flooded our bathrooms, and the elevators were missing buttons on almost every floor and took forever to arrive. Not to mention the horrendous billing issues we experienced, where they incorrectly charged the wrong card with the wrong name, charged us $100 more than what was listed on the receipt, and messed up the parking. I have called both the billing department and hotel, no one answered, and I have yet to be contacted regarding these issues. The only good thing about the hotel was the complimentary breakfast and happy hours (shout out to Fernando and Oscar for saving this review as they were awesome).

Hosted a family reunion with 13 guest rooms and a special breakfast function. The rooming list took no fewer than a dozen emails and phone calls to straighten out (no special circumstances, just a hot mess at every turn). And to split the bill at brunch (where we both offered cc in person) has taken two more days of emails, faxes, authorizations, and phone calls and STILL isn't straightened out. BEWARE of hosting an event here. This is one Hilton that does not have its act together. The rooms are fine. The cleaning people are friendly. But the management, sales/catering/events and accounting/billing departments are not up to the task. Customer service is poor. Follow up on poor customer service is even poorer and all this for a couple who stays a combined 90+ nights in Hilton properties annually. If zero was a rating, I'd choose that.
