The buffet was alright need to have grill fish and shrimp everything was fried

Didn t win nothing but had a great time nonetheless lol

Fun casino with decent selection of games to play. The cocktail waitress brought free drinks around pretty consistently.

The experience was going well until a mice decided to show up near the machine i was playing on the lower level. My wife hate mice so she was not happy.

A bit dated, typical casino. OK for a meal, near our hotel which was lovely

There crab legs suck matter of fact the hole Buffett sucks wasted 75 bucks won't be going back.

Worst experience I've ever had here. Haven't seen a waitress since I got here. The self serve drink station have no cups.Cmon Ameristar, your usually so much better than this.

This was Christmas Day, my first time at Ameristar. I received gift points to play, went to eat and used points to help pay for my meal, so it only cost me $8.00 for Christmas dinner. Had a great time.

Fun place to go. If you're not a smoker, this Casino is very smokey.

I gamble a lot all over the US. This place seems extremely tight. YMMV. I'd try elsewhere.

I give this place 5-star because this is one of the best casinos I had the opportunity to experience. They have great food the best customer service when you lose your money you don't even be mad. So I will get its place not just five stars but two thumbs up and a standing ovation. If you ever and Vicksburg Mississippi or in the surrounding area make sure you take the time out your schedule to visit this casino

Very Large rooms and bathroom suite. Nice view of the Red river and Louisiana bayou from my window (19th floor).

Clean, enough machines and tables for hordes of players. Of course I lost a few bucks, but enjoyed it.

Ameristar was without a doubt my favorite casino even above the Beau Rivage on the coast. However, on March 1, I was inquiring about what happened to my freeplay and after some digging I found that all my benefits were gone. I checked my w2 for 2017. I couldn't believe what it said. $200 , only about 2,500 missing. Until March 1 I received 2 rooms a week comped. Long story short when talking to a host she said I lost my benefits Jan 1. I asked so the 4 comped rooms in feb and freeplay were what? Mistakes happen computer glitches etc. My disappointment and anger is because no one even tried to fix the problem. I will no longer recommend Ameristar to friend's and family

Limited table games. Mostly Cajun stud only. Lots of slots. The cafe was poor, onion rings were cold. The RV park was great. Get reservations on Friday and Saturday.

The room was dirty. Even though it was a non-smoking room, it smelled strongly of smoke.

Eye catching from the outside at night with the lights. Loved how you drive down to it. Staff very friendly ! A nice visit

One of our favorite places to go. We love to eat at Bella's and Jessica that works there is amazing!!

I didn't stay at the hotel but I did go to the casino. It was OK. After a while it became lackluster.

It's fun but I've been a few times and have not won. The food is great though!

I visited Bourbons at Ameristar for the first time and I truly enjoyed it. The crab cakes were AWESOME! And the Cajun Chicken Pasta was superb. The Chef visited our table as well.

The casino hotel was fair. It was a great location to geton the 20 highway and easy access to Jackson, Ms. The casino across the street was the best part!

The buffet was the worst I have ever eaten. Very expensive and you have to pay extra for the crab legs. I don't think we will be eating there anymore.

The machines were so tight we couldn't even play and enjoy ourselves after driving an hour to get there. It has been like this all month. We got there at 5pm and ate. We played our designated amount of money and back home at 8:30. That's sad. Not worth the 2hr drive. We are both Elite players and the benefits aren't worth it.

Was. There for two hours flagged down multiple drink women never was able to get drink will not be wasting time or money there again very displeased with service

Hotel was nice, but I really spent too much money for 1 night and to top it off the pool was closed. Brought my children to enjoy the pool for their birthdays & 2 adult birthdays since Rona has messed everything up & come to be they couldnt even enjoy the sun. NEVER AGAIN!

Most reviews of casinos are reflected if you win anything and it was fun. The two go hand in hand most times. This casino was one of those where I couldnt even hit 10 bucks for the 200. I spent. Its a two floor casino and okay game choices. But very tight in our experience. There is smoking allowed and that's about as long as we were there to check out before broke. Would not drive to go there again.
