Ameristar Casino Vicksburg Review

Won some money, but I was offered some morphine tablets...told security but they didnt seem to care. Kinda concerning.

It's okay, nothing else near by but a good 20 minute stop when on your road trip

I usually like this casino. It's a nice size and I always win!!! However when I arrived at 5am they were closed. So I decided to go to Riverwalk which was open.

O it was a 5 star everything was great thanks again.

Was a lot of fun. But wish the girls would come around more often for beverages

Very nice rooms and now they all have a refrigerator in them. Also the pool is already open. Yeah

One of our favorite places for brunch, the new menu needs improvement though.

Like most other casinos. It is the largest one in Vicksburg.

They said I was not wearing an appropriate attire but I had clothes on.

Great place this would be a higher rating if they could get their poker room together.

Ii enjoy when I go here. They have some new machines that I was excited to try. I didnt win anything my last visit but it's not gonna stop me from going. Would go back over and over again.

Regular buffet is great . Everything on the regular buffet is wonderful and worth the price but do not waste your time and money going to their crawfish buffet . The crawfish are so horribly cooked that you literally cannot eat a single crawfish . They are cooked to mush and cannot be salvaged. That being said though the Mac and cheese is world class and the fried chicken and mashed potatoes just everything else was very tasty and we will be going again. Just never on crawfish nights.

Had a blast here last night with my husband I put $3 in and won $121.93 then I played a dudiffere machine and put $10 in and won $160 but played more and lost it all but $98 so either way I had a great time very fun atmosphere I will be going back and hopefully I win the big bucks next time

The buffet was awful do not waste your time spent 2 hours in line waiting to get into the restaurant and at another 30 minutes waiting just to fix a plate could not even get to it to fix seconds it was $34 a person to eat after tax I am from the Gulf Coast and even our worst casinos have a lot better buffet than these

Their gaming devices are not fair if lets say four jacks pays .20 when betting 25 lines times 1 credit those same four jacks should pay 1.00 when playing seven lines betting 5 credits but they don't and they verry rarely hit at all. And as I was leaving I had a cup of coffee and was told I could not take it with me but I paid 10 dollars for that cup of coffee and I am not giving it up so I walked to my car and was chased down for an empty cup I thought that this security guard was going to attack me for a cup I don't recommend that anyone patronize this establishment unless you just like to loose!

Very nice room. Big comfortable bed with good linen. The price was good also. Close to Casino that looks like a Mississippi River boat! Shuttle to Casino. Recommend.

Fun place. We stayed at the RV park. Very nice, for the price. Used the shuttle to the casino was great. Will stay again when in the area.

It was amazing I enjoyed my stay the room is nice and clean I'm still here tho lol.you all should come stay here the front desk people are nice people to there costumers well some of them anyways ....well anyways I'm still staying in the hotel

Has good service, the People are nice. One of the better high roller areas I ve seen on weekends, several good classic 3 reel slots selections and progressive machines. Video machines are fun and decent to good play back. Has lighting link 1 to 10 cents denom, and 14 dragon link machines. The 1 denom 3 reel are probably the toughest ones in the place. Over all good play for play and buffet is good to.

Small casino but has everything you'd see at a larger casino. Seafood buffet is decent. This casino is always doing sweepstake giveaways.

The casino is ok ish but I'm not an expert! The buffet though is very good. Excellent soup. The view couldn't be more Southern if it had a heap o grits in daisy duke shorts. Wonderful view.

Clean and quit offers shuttle to casino if you want. We stayed one night. Pull through sites full hook ups. Friendly staff.

I Don think I'll be there anytime soon again. The food was not anything to brag about. Just tasted like regular cafeteria food. I was not impressed at all. We did have a beautiful view of the Mississippi river.

We stayed in RV Park for 2 nights. The wifi did not work at all and the pool was only open while the office was open. The office closed at 5pm the first day and 4pm the second day. I understand the possibility of vandalism but that is what they make video recorders for or Ameristar needs too make sure someone is in the office until at least 9pm.

The rate was really good through Orbitz but the room is just so-so. One bed did not have a fitted sheet and the mattress pad on the other bed had a large hole. The carpet is worn too. The choices of TV channels are limited. The most frustrating part was we were out of our room 9-3:30 and it was not cleaned during that time. When I asked the next day to be sure it was cleaned while we were out, the lady at the front desk was less than helpful and basically said they will get to it on their own schedule.

I am loving my trip!! Just me!! I needed some time to rejuvenate!! Waiting on Mel to save me from giving this casino all my money!! Like the atmosphere here. Nice swimming pool!! The from desk clerk was such a sweet, pleasant lady. She made it very easy on me to make a reservation!! Great smile and friendly disposition!!

Ameristar is my favorite Casino, most of the staff is awesome! The food is great !

was here 15 min and lost 200 then won it all back of course just to lose it again...people were nice bathrooms were clean and I'll be back when I have more time

ate at buffet last weekend they have crab leggs but no crab crackers to open them wth what service was no good if u wanted something todrink get it ur self
