Ameristar Casino Vicksburg Reviews

I visited Ameristar Casino on Saturday June 11th 2016 for the first time ever. As far as Casino's go, it was a nice facility. Laid out easily, fun machines albeit dry wells. I did enjoy their 50 for 50 promotion because that first round went fast so it was nice to get it back and I walked out with a little bit so that was cool.

I will say that their no smoking area was kind of a joke because the section butts up against the smokers and I sat across from a woman who blew smoke in my face for twenty minutes until I could cash out and move. I wish they would make their downstairs area entirely no smoking for people like me who value their healthy lungs.

Their staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. Whenever I had a question someone was always there with a smile and the patience to handle my request. Next time I feel like losing a small chunk of my pay check I'll definitely keep Ameristar in mind.

They know how to show their customers how much they appreciate them.

Loved it... Didn't win.. but I still had a good time hanging with my friend.. free coffee.. and good times... Will be visiting again with my husband...

Played slots. Something for everyone. Beautiful in this area. Didn't win but small pots, but I would definitely go back and try again.

Always a great time if you win. Play the wheel of fortune game. Normal "suck you in" atmosphere.

Clean, very friendly staff, good place to stay in Vicksburg without breaking the bank.

Pretty busy on a Saturday night. Not my first visit, but could not find a suitable blackjack table. Past visits mostly fun because I won a little at the tables; just beware of the weird side bets.

Because they never call my name for any drawings they have. Having hit a jackpot on anything I place in a long long time. Also their points and bonuses system is terrible, when compared to Island View Casino in Gulfport MS.

Enjoyable atmosphere, but it's usually extremely crowded on the weekends.

It was Monday night, but it was quietest and deadist Casino I've ever been to. The buffet was okay, won enough money playing craps to pay for dinner for two.

Well they are pale shadow of their once former self's. And saying that i understand that the virus has closed alot of business. But they still open and making money. People are friendly service was good,I enjoyed my self.

Ate the buffet which was real tasty and won $12.00. What's not to like.....

Gambling sucks there, And takes forever for drinks, and the Bathrooms stinks P.S I always tip no matter the service. But the Cafe they have there has very good Food and Service. Try the Milkshakes. Yummy.

Horrible been trying to check in for 3 hours and every time we were told is wasn t ready, won t be back!!!!!

This casino has the tightest machines of any casino I've ever frequented. Don't waste your money...they wont give you a dime.

Some machines pay better than others. Won a bit tonight.

Buffet was not good. Use to be a lot better. I play slots and machines did not hit enough to keep you playing ( i.e. play 100 dollars and not hit first thing.)

It's great for entertainment, plenty of slot machines, and plenty of table games. The slots are pretty loose bc my friend's mother won $57,000 on her second spin playing dollar slots!!

Unfriendly dealers @Roulette. They are more happy to see you lose than see win....Very, very rude, and not welcoming. Their expressions on their face, and demeanor at the table says it all. Travel to the Coast...friendlier atmosphere.

Real nice, didn't speed a lot of time but we will stop in again.

I love the food and gaming, this weekend was wonderful, my fiancee and I did a little get- away for Veterans day, since we are NEVER really OFF at the same time. Let me tell you the hotel staff, beds, and cleanliness of the hotel is remarkable, and let's not forget that addictive AROMA as you enter the lobby and throughout the hotel
.....We had a relaxing time. The gaming was not so bad either.. we stayed sat 11/10 till Mon 11/12...
I must say I enjoyed the stay, will return next opportunity.

Professional friendly staff , relaxed environment ...... I visit every time I go through Vicksburg , all in all it's worth a stop to win money

Winning... Down to earth people.. Sam the card dealer is awesome.. He never forgets a face.. I love how he introduces himself...

The lady at the blackjack table was friendly and fun to play with. I wish I could remember her name. I will be back soon. I am from Alabama and it was my first time visiting and I love the atmosphere.
