Beautiful hotel, nice suites with friendly and competent staff.

We spent just one night here in a suite. It was very spacious. Pillows were soft and breakfast good. We d stay here again.

Very good hotel with recent rebuilding of the rooms and public spaces. It is allocated in several buildings which can be reached with connecting tunnel. Very good is the enclosed restaurant. Excellent is the breakfast.

Do not plan any business events here. Stay for leisure only if you have high tolerance. Arrived early in the morning and was made to wait two hours even though I had booked a day in advance to accommodate my early arrival. Went to have breakfast and was told that they were closing. Waited in the lobby were the guy was painting the railings and watched people come after me and get checked in and also go and have breakfast. On checkout was asked to pay for the extra day as they said I had a no show. Also they decided to charge me for breakfast when my room was already including breakfast. No water in the room so had to call three times just to be told that you can take the water from the mini bar which was empty. The bathroom had a background humming all day long and seemed like someone was singing. The temperature was a steady 23 no matter how much you lower the thermostat. I think the weed in the air has this entire hotel going loopy. To conclude only stay if you have high tolerance for nonsense. We decided to have a meeting here which included booking rooms for around 25 people for two to three nights, three meeting rooms with lunch and dinner. First and last time. Never again. Also I have stayed at Radisson Blu many times including a one month long stay at another location with no issues. Also am a reward member.

If you want to get settled in a quiet part of Amsterdam, this is the place for you. This hotel is located on a quiet street that is away from the hustle and bustle of what people general want to see in the city. I loved how warm and comfortable the room was. I had a very unique room with large wooden beams and a view of the street. The restaurant has a seasonal menu that was one of the finer meals I experienced there. Finally, if you have any questions about the city the front desk staff is more than helpful finding the best Amsterdam has to offer.

Great, central location

Very central location, in the historic part of Amsterdam, 10 minutes from the central station. Clean and cared for internally. The room equipped with everything, abundant towels, disposable bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body soap, disposable slippers. Mini bar by high prices, view blocked by buildings, carpeted I say a little 'antiquated and consumed. Upon check-out they have debited the cost of the parking lot which I did not partake because they arrived by plane, then solved without any problem.

Very clean and quiet. Excellent location. Friendly staff.

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are nice and everything is ok, but we were robbed or a bag of delicious souvenirs from Amsterdam worth over 50 we had forgotten in the minibar and 1 hour after check-out was gone , Very annoying and a big disappointment

Excellent location, right in the middle of Amsterdam. The rooms are on the smaller side but that's to be expected. Front desk and Concierge were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very regular.

Cheap superior room at a high price. Reminds me in my opinion a two star hotel as soon as you are in the room.

On the occasion of a surprise for one of the chefs of 'de Palmboom', the brasserie at the hotel, we went for dinner with a group of 7. Because of this surprise we were presented with a surprise menu of 5 courses. With most dishes the underlying story was told and the different parts were explained. In addition, a matching wine was presented with each course.

The brasserie is an establishment that has a clear connection with the hotel, so that it is not an opportunity to just go out for dinner.

Although we were not the most regular audience for the restaurant with a group of 7 young people, we experienced it as a nice experience. We were received enthusiastically and had a very good meal.

Great hotel, nice really large rooms, they just change all the mattresses in the hotel on the day we arrived, so we had a nice new mattress. I had the burger for room service menu which I wasn't a fan off as it was a bit dry, it also was supposed to come with a side of sweet potato chips but arrived with regular chips instead.

We booked a really nice suite. King bed, massive washroom, overall it was a big room. It was a really nice hotel and the restaurant downstairs was also pretty great! It got busy, and we were there at Christmas. I imagine during high season it would be super duper busy.

I stayed at the Radison Blu for a work conference. It has the perfect setting and I love the history you get to see in the hotel Bar (when you get there ask your server about it). The food and service was great. I actually left the souvenirs I purchased at the hotel by accident, Orla in House Keeping found them and sent them to me. I was so impressed my this. Thank you for an amazing time!

Just ridiculous. I'm a club Carlson concierge member booked last night and came to the hotel at midnight only to be told by the rude useless night manager that they cancelled my booking and that they were full. Why they did that? Because even though I didn't have a prepaid booking they were trying to charge my card for the stay and they cancelled it without contacting me when they couldn't. Appalling rude hotel. No compensation no remorse no given. Two thumbs down don't stay here u less you want to be stranded by them in the middle of the night.

Easy access from railway station. In the middle of old Amsterdam. Very quiet, a good restaurant with competitive prices comparing the surroundings. Nice rooms and a very good breakfast. The bar is a jewel you have to see by yourself.

On the whole it was a nice stay for us, only that we had no window to the outside we found a pity.

Great hotel. Very comfortable. Located short walking distance from many Amsterdam attractions. Very attentive staff.

We stayed 3 nights at the Radisson Blu:
Booking: I booked the hotel through the travel agency. It is priced.
Arrival: was quite late and because of a detour we had telephone contact was very friendly.
Room: Was very good (unfortunately on the first day no cleaning of the room was done, which was on demand but fixed)
Breakfast: Was also very good
Location: Outstanding in the center and an ideal starting point for sightseeing tours through Amsterdam.
Price - performance: is just a bit high - priced, but the location, cleanliness is very good.
Parking: Small underground car park in the hotel (parking with book or reserve) for 55 per day.
Were very satisfied, except for the lack of room cleaning on the first day.

Right at the centre. Series of restaurant, coffee shops( Netherlands coffee shops are different), mexican, Italian and what not...Even a good Indian Restaurant is just a walk away. Central Station very nearby.

Breakfast mostly English but some you have veg options too.
Rooms are relatively small. And you need to tag while going for cleaning.

About a 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Central, short walk to many restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Hotel was high quality, everything clean and well kept, room service good.

Great location in the city centre near a metro stop. The hotel interior was nice and modern.

There was no stay there the hotel canceled without warning and without giving notice. Because of problems with the credit card.

The BLU hotels never disappoint. This is very central, ideal for a weekend getaway.

In the center of Amsterdam, close to Dam square. You can walk from Central Station. The street where Radisson Blu is quiet. The Hotel is clean and comfortable.

The room and the beds were perfect, even the sofa-bed.
Regarding the breakfast, there are plenty of choices, all I tried were so tasty.

The hotel was overpriced but in great location. I had stayed in the Radisson able in Helsinki and loved it. The restaurant was ok for breakfast but menu very limited for lunch and dinner. The halibut was the only item on the menu that was appealing. There was a terrible smell in the hallways overlooking the 1st floor but did not smell in the rooms. The rooms were adequate but did not have very much of a view. Service was adequate. I had expected much more.

Very nice hotel, centrally located quiet and clean. Negative is a hotel of this category only the English language dominated. A German speaking guest where like me, does not have a good English looks pretty fast in the tube.

Decent sized rooms, great location, and a good spread of breakfast. Some rooms comes with a tub, may need to ask at check-in.

Location is very nice in the central of happening places in Amsterdam.. But the hotel is just standard.. Water not so hot, cleaning service clean up room lazily.. Find my sheet is not tidied up and just cover it with the blanket, dropped the snacks on the table and not saying anything.. Might not going back to stay here again

The company is meeting here. The room is very spacious in Europe and the service is great. It is only a few hundred meters away from the famous red light district.

We were transferred to this hotel as the one we had booked is not yet open for business. The lady at the reception said we would not be disappointed. And she was right! Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location as well. The personal note apologising for the transfer was very much appreciated. Tot nog eens!

Gorgeous and ideally located. Without a doubt the best hotel I've stayed in Europe. Ralph is wonderful and very accommodating. Would recommend to any traveler in Amsterdam.

Staff was meh (borderline rude), recommendations by conceirge were just bad, and the restaurant was unimpressive. You can find a much better hotel, in a better location, for a better price.

We had called and asked if the king size was a true king size or two beds pushed together. We were told it was one bed, and of course this was a lie.

Front staff will stop talking to you and answer the phone only to leave you waiting for them to finish the call to return to your transaction.

Brilliant welcome, top guy on reception. Rooms spotless. Fricking massive TV! Decent bathroom. Shower was probably the only four star element - couldn't adjust angle.

Bar really nice too (part of an old church) and worth a visit even if you're not staying. Staff again really, really good in there.

One of the best hotels from Radisson Blu and one if best in Amsterdam city. It is posh and niche very stylish and elegant hotel. Very high end and centrally located in Amsterdam. Just love this hotel.

Some issues at breakfast time (breakfast room was full at first, then it was impossoble to locate the perzon in charge of placing people for breakfast...). Too bad it looses 2 stars to that incident as all the rest was really good

It is quiet although it is the center of Amsterdam. The room was clean and spacious, and the service to settle down was meticulous. May 2015.
