This places is a joke. I came in with chest pains and left 3 hours later because I was completely ignored. Tammy the E.R. nurse abandoned her patients and went upstairs for the better part of an hour. The staff seemed MUCH more concerned with the wellbeing of a prisoner of the Oklahoma City Police Department. Want to stay alive. ....stay away.
I had a couple of tests done last week. Staff were all super nice and helpful. They went above and beyond explaining the results to me. The facility is clean and nice.
I HATE going into medical facilities at this time b/c I feel like if you do not have COVID, you are not welcome. So if you are having a heart problems, too bad. You broke your leg, too bad, not welcome to come in. BUT this facility was very welcoming. The staff and nurses were very friendly.
Ended up here on Labor Day daughter was in extreme pain. The doctor Thomas E. ingmire had the absolute worst bedside manners. Never come here it isn t worth your time. Nurses weren t much better to say the least.

The dr didn t listen to me at all. My DR informed me to go to the ER to get an MRI on my back, the ER DR refused to give me an MRI. Although this is what even my DR said to do.
He wouldn t listen to me when I let him know this back pain I m having was deeper then a muscle spasm. He gave me a valium for temporary relief so that I could just get sent home.
I can barely lift my neck, I can t twist or turn, I can t bend over, lean, pick anything up. I have been home struggling ling all weekend, waiting for my DR office to open. Now I have to wait for my provider to send a referal to get an MRI when the ER could of just done it. I m home in excruciating pain. The ER did nothing fr me.

Came in with a kidney stone (wich I get frequently because of a medical condition) they did a scan saw I had a kidney stone and promptly diagnosed me with a UTI sending me home with anti biotics that did nothing to ease the excrutiating pain

I spent a few hours working with their Same Day Appointment line trying to get an appointment with ANY doctor they had available. The scheduler had my insurance information and told me she was scheduling only doctors who accepted it. After speaking with multiple doctor's offices to ensure coverage (after appointments were made) I was informed that none of the doctors with Alliance will likely take my insurance. This is unacceptable. If yoy want to run a successful business, you make sure your front line employees all have the same information so as to streamline the process and not infuriate your clients.
I will never attempt to use Alliance or recommend them to anyone.
This place over charged me on the bill. Now they are trying to sue me. Charged me on stuff that my daughter never received. I work in the medical field as well and I know how they over charge people. Well never recommend anybody to go there. Worst place ever. Can t believe they are trying to sue me.

I think Integris Deaconess is one of the best kept secrets in OKC! After falling out of my attic and breaking my tibia and shattering other parts last week, Dr. Uhland did an awesome job putting me back together. The emergency room staff was wonderful; efficient, professional, and kind. Dr. Uhland explained exactly what he would be doing during my surgery. My room on the sixth floor was very clean and nice; air intake vent was super clean and I had a big TV with many channels. The folks taking care of me were always nice, professional, and efficient. Thank you Dr. Uhland, Dr. Tilly, Dr. Cossaart, Shanda, Christy, Shrija, Jamey, Janis, and Rose. Great Hospital and Great Staff!!! Thanks for caring and taking such good care of me. Allison

My aunt was a patient at Deaconess for five days recently. The value of care that she received during this time was exceptional. Dr. Kahn is a doctor who takes time to explain procedures and answer any questions you may have afterwards. Terri on 4th floor is probably the most attentive and caring nurse I have encountered. Whatever she is being paid, she deserves more! Shayla on 4th floor was also a rare treat. We loved the smiles each time they greeted us. The others provided adequate service but these three stand out. I hope that someone at the hospital takes the time to commend them publicly in one of your meetings. They deserve the recognition.
Horrible out-patient services. i would give -ve stars if I could. I had two services done through them a CT-Scan and a Biopsy in 2012. Both are wrong diagnosis and the worst part is half of my face was paralyzed because of the dumb stupid doctor who damaged my facial nerve while trying to do a Biopsy. the initial CT-Scan concluded that a lump in my jaw was a Tumor while a later study revealed that it is a blood clot. they charged me around $3000 for both the services and I paid about $2300. later I felt that this is not right and spoke with the hospital saying that I don't want to pay the balance $722. if at all I should be compensated for the damage they caused to me. the lady I spoke to dully obliged to write-off the remaining balance in 2014. now, through my credit report, i came to know that they filed a collection against me in 2015.. what an apathy and utter disregard for the patient welfare and customer care.

We came to the ER with a pediatric patient with an ankle injury that could not stand. There were 4 other patients in the ER. After 3 hrs of waiting, 2 patients had been called and now the ER is full. There was one family in there at had cut his fingertips and was bleeding. We were never seen. We and 3 other families left without medical care. We won t be back which is kind of sad since we have always used you guys and used to trust you!
Wish I had known that Baptist on Portland was the Covid hospital. I am high risk and would not have used this facility for a heart scan if I had been informed of this. Very upset over this lack of transparency to the vulnerable age group

Team, one of the most important things you have to protect is that first impression! INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center Portland Avenue care was OUTSTANDING! When you don't go to the doctor often and have to go, you are already in a very touchy mood. These folks made me feel calm, welcomed and cared for in every way. You could feel the caring in their eyes before you said a word. It took a few seconds before the front desk warmed up, but when it did, it mattered the MOST!
I came into the ER feeling miserable.I was achy sick to my stomach every joint in my body hurt I got into a room where they took care of me fast.The nurses listened to me and made me feel comfortable.They took great care of me.Well done Dr Mayo Wendy and his staff.I wish all my visits were like last night.Thank you
I am an 85 year old male who fell in my home and cut my ear almost in half and an additional cut my head behind my left ear. I was taken immediately into the ER. They ran a ct scan of my head, and diagnosed my condition very fast. I was then given a tetanus shot, and prepared for stitching up my ear and head. All medical personnel were very professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and empathetic during the time I was there. I required 30 stitches and felt almost no pain during the stitching. Upon release, I was given a prescription for an antibiotic and detailed instructions to care for my wounds. I can't say the experience was pleasant, but the ER personnel did everything they could to make it less traumatic and painful. I recommend this ER when emergency strikes and you need help. Thus, a 5 star rating.
HORRIBLE. The labor & delivery nurses are so rude. Everytime I pressed the button to call my nurse they acted as if they were offended that I was asking them to do their job! They never remembered to bring my pain medication , I always had to call. I had one amazing nurse & her name was Coleen. SO if you absolutely have to give birth at this hospital ask for Coleen!! They didn't offer tp change my bedding NOT ONE TIME. But I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL.

Took my 3yr old in to the hospital with 105.2 fever they said he had a ear infection and sent us home I'm now admitted to children's hospital because the ER Didn't care enough my son has a infection in Limp nodes and my need surgery this could of been tooken care of if they cared enough about there patients. And listen to the mother when I told them his symptoms
Terrible experience. Brought in a friend who had an obvious blown Achilles. He couldn t walk. I was trying to help him in and was shut down at the door because the hospital has a strict no visitor policy . Now I can somewhat understand this because of Covid; HOWEVER, not a single person went to get him a wheelchair or tried to help him. We were met with stares and sorry, it s policy .. As he s hobbling around the waiting room trying to get signed in. And the entire waiting room was empty. Terrible regard for patients. Will never go back and urge you all not to either. What an joke of an ER.
Should be criminal what they charged us for the worst possible care on our visit to the ER. 5 hours total, my wife in excruciating pain ( had to find a nurse to beg for some pain meds). Dr never came in to see her. Ended up being a kidney infection. $3000 after insurance, as I said should be criminal.
The Emergency department Dr.Lee and nursing staff gave friendly professional care. The nurses on 6 north were great caring nurses. Surgery Dr.Stone and surgery team kept us informed all the time. CCU 3rd floor I can't say enough you are all God sent. I am so thankful from the bottom of my heart. God bless you. These medical staff is what everyone needs in their lives. Housekeeping was great the hospital was superb in cleanliness cafeteria was good but little prices to high. But food was good and hot.
Very very horrible, I wouldn't recommend this hospital or the emergency room service at ALL. Intake time is horrible.. I went there with no one in the lobby still waited for atlest a hour then the dr was just simply being a smartass in a nice way. Seriously I'd rather drive 5 more minutes to integris right around the corner, there super nice An always Always are helpful.
Husband went in with shoulder pain, found out it was heart pain! They couldn't have been better or more attentive. When it wound up that he needed bypass surgery he was not interested in moving to a bigger or "better known" facility in OKC, he felt very comfortable with the staff.
The hospital sure could use a bit of updating, but understand that is being done from the top floor down.
THE BIGGEST PROBLEM was the lack of food services for visitors and patient families. The cafeteria has very strange hours, we literally could not even get a cup of coffee on Saturday or Sunday unless we went there within a two hour time span. Really?? Most hospitals have free coffee for families while they are waiting. Fix that problem and it would be a five star review.

Horrible experience in er. I was left to bleed with half of my finger cut off for 2 hrs and staff is very rude and careless.
I was admitted with Covid-19. The doctors and nurses in this Covid-19 designated hospital are professional and care for their patients. The treatment I received was kind, compassionate, and courteous. The medical team here is just that, a team. I am humbled and thankful I was able to get admitted to this hospital under the care of the doctors and nurses that are currently on the front lines fighting Covid-19.
As a healthcare professional this was absolutely the most dismissive hospital I have ever been to. The er is completely disorganized, noone communicates. I came in with already established and documented kidney stones, with a lithotripsy procedure scheduled for days later, I sat in a room for 1.5 hours before I saw a nurse let alone a physician. The NP refused to be agreeable, as well as the nurse. They said I was refusing service when I wasn't, all because I didn't want unnecessary tests done, especially while I writhe in pain. The nurse said I refused medication, when I did not. I left. It was a atrocious place. I would rather rot in a gutter then " receive " care there. If you want to be dismissed, ignored, forgotten about and bullied about your health care.. than this is the perfect time place for you.
Deaconess has upgraded quality care since my last visit. Nurse Sana did an an outstanding job! Not to forget the compassionate bedside manners the attending physician provided. Good job Deaconess!!
It was a day that was a little dreaded, but thanks to some wonderful techs, it was a nice experience! I wish I
could remember both of their names, but I was greeted by Nichole, nuclear medicine who explained everything and started an IV
(painlessly)to inject contrast. The CT tech was very helpful and had the CT done very quickly, then released me to get breakfast.about 3 hours later Nichole took me back for a bone scan. She made sure I was very comfortable because that procedure takes longer. She was very nice and explained everything she was doing. She got me up and made sure I had my balance, then guided me out to the lobby and I drove myself home. No stress, no pain!

I had a procedure done yesterday by my gynecologist, Dr. Judy Fong, and I was a little unsure about it being at Deaconess because of all the bad reviews. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the excellent care I received. The hospital was clean, the pre-op processes efficient, and everyone, from the phlebotomist, the kind and observant anesthesiologist Dr. Wong, to my excellent check-in nurse, OR nurses, and recovery nurses, were professional and friendly. The collegiality of the staff was evident, and I loved how well everything was explained to me at every step of the process. After a recent visit to Mercy's nasty and inefficient ER, I was thankful for my next experience in a hospital to be so, so wonderful.

The entire staff was tremendous! The doctors, nurses, and other attendances were all very kind and ready to share a laugh. Very professional but also treated us like people instead of just patients. Easy admittance and discharge! Nurse who called to follow up the day after surgery was very kind. As far as the surgical experience goes, it was as easy and painless as it possibly could be.

I had excellent nurses on the day shift taking care of me after my surgery. I was in the 5th floor. One night while I was there, my nurse's aide forced me to get out of bed so that I could take a bed bath. I was post Right hip replacement, so to say the least, this activity was not appreciated nor understood. For the most part, everything as far as the nursing care wad good beside the fact that there weren't enough nurses for them to be able to help me to the bathroom in a timely manner, and same for pain relief. Nurses do the best they can, usually.
3 hours in the ER and did not receive any treatment. It's like they forgot I was there. I will never return to this facility again for any reason.
I waited for 30 minutes to be called back to have my blood taken. The lady apologized and said she didn t know I was out there, which was a lie because the lady at the information desk had told her I was there. There was not another patient anywhere. Then I got to have my X-ray taken and they said it would be a while as they had not received the orders from admitting. Again I am the only patient around. This is not the first time this has happened. I will never step foot in the particular facility again.

I had heal sour and Achilles repair and now I'm having and MRI on top of foot I have inch long sour on it and Dr Thomas is going to do my surgery and on right foot the do the same on left foot all I can say he is awesome
I was having severe pain and difficulty getting enough air. I was greeted by employee immediately and taken back within 10 minutes. Jen RN was my nurse. Jen explained what she was doing all while assessing me. I never felt like just a number. Dr. Arnold was my physician he also asked questions and a full exam quickly. He explained results to me, which were not serious. I m so thankful to the staff for their time and excellent care. I hope I never have another emergency, but I will definitely come back to Deaconess Integris.
Not much to this place, cafeteria is meh and service is not fast or accurate at all.
Excellent treatment by Dr. Caudle who was calm, kind, and understanding while helping me through a lethal-feeling panic attack and leaving me feeling good about the future.
ER was very efficient as I did not have to wait for hours like I have at other places. Registration was wonderful and they did a great job as I am now so much better
Was referred for gyn issues. The dr I was to see canceled twice, the day I show up to the appointment I was told he was no longer with them. (they said they sent out letters and phone calls . I didn't get either) They could reschedule me but wouldn't be for another month at least. That's three months waiting on an appointment. I've had good experiences here in the past but not this time..
The two ladies in the nuclear med scanning department were extremely sweet. They constantly asked if I was doing ok and told me what they were doing step by step. Very pleased with the service at this place.

They violated Hippa laws by giving her scripts and paperwork on someone else. Waited for 3 hours till they did anything! Worst hospital in Okc.
Even when u complain about service and their hippa violations no return phone call on making sure this does not happen to another patient. Medical board will hear about it next. They would like to see copies of someone else s record that was given by a incompetent nurse!
Discharged from Deaconess hospital only to call ambulance later that evening to go to a real hospital around the corner.
Dr at Deaconess was horrible and dismissive that's why I had an ambulance ride and a 6 day ICU stay at Integris Baptist Medical.
Hopefully, Integris can turn this hospital into something the community can be proud of.

The out-patient surgery rooms are small but they get a 5 star on friendliness, kindness and they genuinely acted like they enjoyed their jobs. One nurse even denied herself a lunch break during the lull between surgeries just to get us out of out-patient at a decent time.
I could not have received any better care than I received. From the clerk who checked me in to every tech, respiratory, nurse and doctor I felt like I was the only patient they had to take care of. I received the top of the line care and wanted for nothing. Best care I have ever received in any hospital I have ever been in.

Arrive in room promptly, was seen very quickly by the Dr. she was in room for approximately 2 minutes and said It looks like I might have some fluid behind right ear, said to take Benadryl. Then set in room for another 45 minutes. Left went to a real hospital Mercy where I live 6 blocks from Seen a real Dr. that said that I had a very bad middle ear infection in my right ear and I needed to be on antibiotics and he said he could not believe that it was not detected and even apologized for your facility. Your medical staff is a disgrace to the medical Field. Sorry I did not mention that my wife that was there with me and is The Charge Nurse in the CCU and a real hospital. What s even crazier because I have had chronic ear infections in the past I ask her would she mind looking again and she stated why I ve seen what I need to see, and then walked out. No wonder this Facility has the lowest ratings of and Major Medical Facility s in the Oklahoma City Area.
this place shouldn t even get a star they discharged my father without looking into more into what what s goin on with him they discharged him and when he got home get got a stroke outside the car this drs have no clue what s being a dr is ! we had to call the ambulance and take him to integres where they know how to take care of a patient not like this place do not waste ur time if u have a emergency this drs and nurses are not professionals and care less about their patients!
I noticed that some of the nurses would throw trash on floor from supplies instead of putting them in the trash we would have to pick up the trash after they left out.
The woman who changed the beds for the patients and touched equipment did not have gloves on. Gloves should be worn for her protection and the patient's protection.
We were never shown any film from CT scans or MRIs. We left the hospital not even knowing what the problem was and the problem still persist.
When our cardiologist office called hospital for medical records, they were told that there was not a patient by that name that had even been admitted. When I called Medical records, I told the lady that they told the doctor that a patient by this name was never admitted and instead of initially saying that she would check , she asked me "well who is "they"? I told her medical records (so she would be the "they") . She checked and told me that she sent the records and when I was thanking her, she slammed the phone down.

The lady who took me back did a wonderful Job she needs a raise!! For making her so two jobs! there should be a receptionist at the front at all time!! I know due to COVID things has change!! But if your telling your patients to get to there appointment 15 minutes early an we don t be seen still 20 minutes after our appointment starts! There should be a different way the lady who took me back should not be doing this alone! I know she is overwhelmed this was in the neurology area! For one person to do everything on her our is a disgrace!! And I know y all can do better!!
Friendly staff! This was my first child and I had to have an emergency c-section. The lactation specialist came and checked on me once or twice a day and was so helpful. The nursing staff was great. There was one nurse that was an hour late on my pain meds(not fun) but that was the only complaint I have. I will for sure be back!
Staff was very rude, except one nurse. We went to the ER at 8 am on a Thursday morning because my husband was in excruciating pain. We brought our daughter because it's kind of hard to find a babysitter with 2 seconds notice. They kept telling my husband nothing was wrong with him and that he just needed to calm down. The doctor even asked us if we had been drinking?!? He came back maybe 2 times and would say "you look fine to me". My husband was literally in tears. After we had been there 4 hours with my husband screaming in pain and them telling us their is nothing they can do for him, they came in with the results of the CAT scan. They told him his gallbladder was filled with stones and he was passing one. The doctor then proceeded to tell us that we eat horrible and if we would just change our diet he would be fine. (Most people tell us we are the healthiest eaters they know.) He gave us a surgeon's number - just in case - but "no one really needs their gallbladder out". He also gave him prescriptions for pain medicine, but made sure to tell us "it's not for recreational use", because apparently we look like drunk drug users?!? I do want to say thank you to the one nurse who came in every 15 minutes or so apologizing that there was nothing more she could do and assuring us they would find out what was wrong, Hopefully she will get a job at a better hospital since we will not be back to Deaconess.
I was sitting there in intense pain from a kidney stone. The results of the cat scan came back after 4 hours and the radiologist read it wrong. I sat there suffering and they didn t even help my pain situation. I trust this hospital with my life but this was the worse night I ve e er had.
The Doctor tried to tell me that dentist can pull a tooth that's infected without the infection spreading and I needed to find another dentist since mine told me otherwise. 2 different pain medicines 2 different trips and the 3rd trip they tell me there's nothing more they can do keep in mind my face is getting bigger each trip to see them. The honestly don't even deserve 1 star
My daughter was diagnosed with fluid in her lungs a few weeks ago and was told it was nothing to worry about by ER doctor. Today she was told to go back when the urgent care doctor said her lungs sound diminished and have them check again. She was told once again that she is fine and that doctor made a snide comment about urgent care doctor. Doesn't seem professional or like they care.
