Great staff, very kind, safe patient care, I wish I could remember all their names, they are all worth mentioning with positive remarks.
Waited three hours for my daughter to be seen and they still never called us to the back. There were multiple families there that had been waiting for over five hours and the receptionists acted clueless as to what was taking so long and had horrible attitudes. Wouldn t recommend coming here. EVER Shut the place down.
The ER rooms are filthy!! Hair and dust and whatever germs! The nurse was just ok..stuck my husband way in the back corner..he was there over two hours and NO DR came in the room! Ran unnecessary test! I say go to Mercy...that s a REAL hospital! Clean your rooms and those Stryker beds!!
I think we all go to the doctor and want at the very least to be treated with respect. Dr Winters isn t the best communicator. He seems impatient, and chalked up my issues to being issues like all women have. It s disappointing really. I took off work to have this procedure, that I paid for, only to be treated like I was wasting his time. I won t ever waste his time again. Done.
I had a great experience getting a CT scan. I am difficult to stick and Neil was experienced and able to thread the needle :-)
Came in with my daughter who is pregnant. The ER staff was courteous and got us upstairs quickly to maternity. The nursing staff in maternity is friendly and very open to questions.
I never post comments about anything, but the nurses on the 4th floor of this hospital have changed that for me. The rudeness they display is beyond unprofessional. I know nothing will be done about this, but if I can help at least one person, I'll be happy. Please reconsider receiving service here. I'll now be spending the rest of my evening sucking up to them, in fear that if not our family member will receive bad care. Very sad.
I visited this hospital (ER Visit) and they got me in right away and the doctor was very nice and actually took the time to sit down and talk to me.
Everyone was very friendly and the radiologist was great.
Occured on Feb. 10th, 2017...
1. Patient, 88, fell and could not move leg. Overflow at most most hospitals ERs, except deaconess hospital (NOT CAPITALIZED), so we had to go to deaconess hospital ER. Upon entry, depressed and rebellious spirit from employees, also complaining of poor equipment. Patient in extreme pain, first pain relief at (1) hour, no effect, reported no effect. No pain relief medication for another (2) hours, also ineffective, reported no pain relief... (6) hour stay, patient crying in pain, no pain relief delivered, SADISM.
2. While patient was in room crying in pain, I witnessed a male nurse and another female helper watching antagonize an inebriated patient that was not combative or harassing UNTIL the male nurse got in his face and spoke loudly for 5 to 10 minutes in a demeaning fashion that would be explained as, i am sure, the nurse was just trying to ask a question from the patient, but truly he was trying to get the patient riled up which worked and then the staff had to restrain him and their Friday got a little more exciting, which was what they were after, i strongly believe. This poor patient was being harassed while my grandmother cringed and cried in pain, SADISM.
3. Lots of discussing tattoos and piercings on many of the employees at deaconess hospital (NOT CAPITALIZED) show the level of morality and humanity that is shared at this discussing hospital, SADISM.
4. When x-rays returned with no sign of broken bones, they said "nothing is wrong with you, go home." This 88 year old patient could not move her leg that she had recently fallen on and she needed to stay at the hospital until she could move her leg and function properly again, SADISM.
5. A friend of mine told me of an experience that they had a few years back with a misdiagnosis of a leg that DID need tendon surgery when deaconess hospital (NOT CAPITALIZED) said "Go home, nothing is wrong with you". Other people have told me that deaconess hospital needs to be shut down and is among the worst hospitals in OKC.
STAY ALIVE, STAY AWAY FROM SADISTS, STAY AWAY FROM deaconess.
Had an outpatient procedure done on New Years Eve. Everyone from the admittance lady to the nurse that wheeled me out to the car were professional and nice. It was an overall pleasant experience.
Family member died in the ER from covid. Staff was good, but its very expensive treatment that didn't work. Telephone directory needs help.
The staff was nice and seemed ready to help with anything.
I went up here with my wife due to pains in her lower abdomen. We waited 2 hours just to get a nurse to see us. Afterwardas we waited an additional hour just to get a ct scan ran. I asked them to give her a tylenol and waited almost an hour with no response till I had had enough of watching my wife cry in pain. Nurses are rude here and they dont ahow the slightest concern for your health. I think it should be shut down.
Had to drink 24 oz.of water 1 hour before my scheduled ultrasound. The ultrasound was an additional hour late.
They did a great job of everything I was very happy of how easy it was.
Each staff person was very helpful and welcoming. I felt a great amount of care from everyone I interacted with. Thank you for helping me.
Fast, friendly service in the ER when my grand son needed stitches last week. Caring skilled nurses and physicians really did great on a 3 year old.
I would give a big fat ZERO!!! Im a single mom. And I have no siblings. And no other support structure all. My mom is in the ICU from a stroke. And I understand about the age rule about the age. Which I think is stupid. But a head nurse called and got permission for today that my daughter can be in there. I had to sit out of her room for them to run tests. 2 other nurses came and bothered me about it. And I told them I had permission to be there. Rude and Uncaring.
Plus Alliance in MWC is Aweful there too. Wasnt even in ICU and the nurse was rude about my kids. They weren't even doing anything. We just got in the room. The front desk nurse made us wait forever to go back also. My mom was alone and scared. We had to keep asking when we could go back. The doctor seemed inconvenienced and nurses were not nice at all.
This would've never happened when we lived in Tulsa and went to St. Francis.
They had no problem my little ones being in the ICU when my Uncle was sick. The nurses and doctors are warm and welcoming. They encourage family, regardless of age. Unlike Alliance. Where you're ostracized for having a 2 year old.
BIG FAT ZERO!!! Maybe I should call the News and let them know how I've been treated. Already got bad media at Alliance in Midwest City. Shame on You Alliance. Have some Compassion!
