Aiello Home Services Review

My mother called Aiello because her dryer stopped working and the repair man told her it was the circuit breaker. She received a quote from the Aiello repairman that she signed and when he left he fixed it so the dryer worked, but not the oven so at least she would get her laundry done.
He came back and told her that they were not able to find circuit breakers that would fit and the price was going to go way up. Mom figured she was a women living alone so she was being taken advantage of and refused to sign anything more. She called another electrician who told her that any size circuit breaker could be replaced and came out and fixed it.
Aiello only refunded her 1/2 of her down payment. DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE - THEY ARE CROOKS. I'M SURE THEY ALSO CONTROL THESE POSTS SO THIS WILL BE TAKEN DOWN SHORTLY!!

Timeline: Thursday install of hot water heater, Saturday service call, Tuesday second service call. No hot water was the issue. After Two service calls the end result was an issue with the oil lines. While it was frustrating to deal with an issue that could have been resolved during the install, the end result, after two technicians worked extensively, was a replacement of the oil lines. Would I recommend this company? Sort of. The products are top of the line, the customer service of the two technicians as outstanding. I say sort of because if I were to leave a customers house with puddles on the ground, trash left behind, no explanation of the warrantee to the consumer, no explanation of the product to the consumer, no checking of the product after install prior to leaving the home I would not expect anyone to be a repeat customer. After Steve (manager) "made good" with us and the Technicians (Rich / Zach) came to the rescue for us, they may have changed my mind back to contacting this company for my future issues.

My experience with Aiello Home Services was excellent. Zach did an amazing job cleaning servicing my furnace and answering all my questions. He left me with a list of items that need to be addressed in the near future and gave me options if I wish to change over to gas down the road. I feel confident that my heating system is now running how it should. I would recommend Aiello Home Services to anyone needing their heating system serviced.

Rick Newman was the service tech doing the maintenance check for my mom's furnace. He was prompt, friendly and professional. Rick explained what he was doing and answered my questions in a manner I could understand.

Bob was very efficient, he explained everything that needed to be done. Very friendly and professional service. Would highly recommend.

i called for emergency service the answering service called me to see if anyone had called and then at 9:30 a repair guy called very apologetic yet nothing got done i will never call aiello again.

The technicians where polite and knowledgeable. They thoroughly explained to me the house inspection results, potential problems that may need service, and maintenance suggestions.

We've had Aiello come and service our AC, hot water heater and furnace for about 5 years now. We got their information from the stickers left on those appliances from the previous owners. They've always been punctual, the work done well and everyone we've interacted with for both emergency fixes and regular maintenance has been very polite and nice.

Absolutely first-class! Technician could not have been nicer or more helpful! I always call Aiello first because I know they will respond as soon as they can.

They came on time (this in itself tells a lot about the service). They immediately put covers over their shoes, very clean workers. Gave estimate up front. Went right to work, when done asked if there were any questions and gave me his card if I needed to ask something, I would definitely use Matt again.

Prompt curtious service with quick disgnosis and repair. My only criticism is that Aiello prices are at the high end of the market. However, you get what you pay for. Thank you.

Fast Response, Great Customer Service... Highly Recommend!!!

Be careful when the receptionist tell you that their estimates are free. My free estimate actually cost me $117.00. When asked to speak to a manager there was a deafening silence on the other end, no return call as yet. I did get 2 other estimates from local reputable companies and Aiello's was 30% higher. I question whether their poor service commands a 30% premium over other providers, especially if management does not see the need to return a phone call - will they return a call if you have issues after the service? If they do return the call and make amends in a timely fashion I will update this post.

I set up a home efficiency appointment a few months in advance. When the day came, two hours passed before I called the company as their technicians still did not show or call us. After more waiting the representative let us know they would not be coming to our home as one technician called out sick.

They recommend we set up another appointment, after I just gave them two hours of my Sunday morning. Sorry, fool me once.

How would we have known if we did not call them ourselves? I do not recommend this company.

EDIT: Since the owner's reply, no manager has reached out to us. I didn't expect it, but thought it was worth adding to the review. Yikes.

Overall it went well minus- I have no idea if I paid a good price. Which means i didnt call around. No free estimates from all plummers I called. Pete the tech was thorough and professional.

I had some serious electricity issues on Saturday night, I called Aiello and they got right back to me. They said they would come right out if I needed them to, if not they would be out Monday morning. Bob from Aiello was at my house at 7am, it was -2 degrees and he went outside for over an hour at least and fixed the problem. Everyone I talked to at Aiello was very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. THANK YOU, AIELLO.

I had the energy audit completed today and I was very satisfied. It was very thorough and everything was explained in detail. I rate it 5 stars.

They say same day service but didn't have any availability the day I called to schedule an appointment.
They only use their parts.
The plumber was knowledgeable & honest but I had to ask questions multiple times to get a straight answer. He also provided advice for other areas that needed to be addressed.
The plumber was supposed to install an access panel, but when he cut into the wall, there was a large pipe in the way. So now, I have a large hole that I'm responsible for fixing.
I was told a receipt will be emailed to me that day. I haven't received one (1 day after).

Visit was right on time and tech was great. The issue that I have is that I knew that it'd turn into an opportunity to upsell services, but with just one of the findings resulting in an estimate to replace a part for $250 that retails for $35 and is maybe 10 minutes worth of work makes me now doubt the value of the annual contract that I have with them.

Our furnace stopped working on a Saturday so we called Aiello. They sent a tech out (Richard Newman) who was there shortly after. After flushing our replacing a filter and a strainer, which was completely unnecessary, he told us it was our motor that was causing our problem. Shortly after he told us that, he told us it was a different part and it would cost over $1100 to order the part and replace it and that wouldn t be here until later in the week. We took our chances and ordered an $80 part online that my husband could install that he was pretty sure would fix our issue. Low and behold, it did. After my husband installed it properly, he noticed the furnace still wasn t working so he opened up the panel that the tech had worked on and noticed a disconnected ground wire which the tech either forgot to reconnect or purposely left it that way hoping we weren t smart enough to figure it out and would need their services again. Overpriced and shady company.

My technician (Keith F) was very personable and easy to work with. He did great work. If I hired Aiello again, I would definitely request Keith to service.

Yearly furnace cleaning and heating system inspection was done by Clay. He spent a lot of time explaining and answering lots of questions and concerns I always have about my very old furnace and heating system. He doesn't rush through the inspection and he does a very through job. This was the 4th year in a row I requested Aiello to send Clay to do the job.

Although the product was difficult to find, it was what I needed for the job. Rocco was fabulous, professional, and swift.

My water thank broke on a saturday morning,I called Aiello and deat with Lorie who was very helpfull and continuosly kept in touch. Stanley was the service man assigned to the the job,STanley was very professional and explained everything and job was done promptly to my satisfaction Lorie and Stanley were very efficient.

Simply the best. Professional courteous, thoughtful nd just plain nice. Lance brought his crew - Cory and Andrew - and even the Manager Tim came to make sure everything went well. Not only did go well but what they did and recommended I know will yield amazing cost savings for me. Thank you all.

Technician, Sam Alarmani, was awesome! Completed everything on our work order efficiently. Detected a problem we didn t realize we had and addressed it thereby saving us a potential problem in the future. Left all work areas clean afterwards. Very professional!!

We found a leak from our bathtub to the basement, the first person I thought of calling was MATT MULCAHY. He did some follow up work at our home a few months back, he was extremely neat, corrected the problem almost immediately and was very helpful letting us know about the leaks we had. So when I discovered this current problem, I called Aiello and asked for Matt. He was here in less then an hour, fixed the leak and once again advised on how to make our old bathroom more efficient. I strongly recommend you ask for MATT MULCAHY if you ever have a plumbing problem. My chocolate lab also loved him!

Great crew. We had 3 technicians at one time snd they were friendly, professional and on time.

Our Shower faucet stopped working this morning...within 10 minutes of my calling Aiello, they called back and Peter was at our house within an hour and the problem was diagnosed and repaired within another hour. We also scheduled another unrelated repair appointment for next week. What prompted me to call were the only line positive reviews and a sense of their reputation. We could not have been more pleased and can now relax and enjoy the weekend. Peter gets an A+!!!!

I scheduled Aiello's service for an annual furnace tune-up. Zach was punctual, professional, courteous, and thorough. He took the time to explain his findings and some additional work that needed to be taken care of. As always, very pleased and satisfied with the level of work done by Aiello's technicians.

DO NOT USE!! I called because we needed to replace our heating wall unit and my husband could not figure out the correct wire placement. We were charged $99 just to have a SCAM ARTIST come to our house and falsely "assess" the problem with a lot of over dramatic running up and down the stairs to figure it out. He used primitive and "fearful" language like we "fried" and "cooked" our taco head zone. We just had them replaced last winter. When he told us repeatedly it is an "extremely expensive part upwards to $200 or more" I did a quick Google search and found them for $70. He then defended himself by saying that "AIELLO uses higher quality merchandise and what did I expect calling a very expensive servicer". You may want to check that AIELLO! if nothing else, don't use them because they are a "very expensive company". He tried to tell us that we needed to pay almost $700 to replace something that was not broken. Since it cost me $700 to replace 2 as well as a tune up on my boiler last winter I told him to take the $99 and get out of my house. He claimed he "did not want to leave us hanging with no heat" so he turned our unit back on, pretended to switch a wire, told us he did so, and charged us $200. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED! our heating unit was fine. It just needed the wall unit to be hooked up properly. I was very irritated and angry that he further touched my phone after I told him not to. I will NEVER CALL HERE AGAIN. I SUGGEST NO ONE ELSE DOES AS WELL. CAUTION! SCAMMERS!! LOOK UP ALL PARTS PRIOR TO USING THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!!!!!!

Second time using Aiello and both times the technicians were very knowledgeable and professional. They answered all my questions and thought me a few things about the system they were repairing. Highly recommend these guys!

The service person was concerned about the problem we had with our shower. He explained several options and recommended the repair that would provide the best long term solution. He showed me the parts as he removed them and explained the problems and showed me how he would fix the problem. once done he demonstrated how the new unit worked.

Only problem I found was a chip in the top of the tub. A Service rep from Aeillo called me later that day. I am still awaiting their solution.

Aiello installed a natural gas driven generator and repaired damage to our electrical system. Robert was professional and candid as he explained our options and guided us through the process of installation and the operation of the generator. Scot, Ben, and Craig performed the work professionally and effectively. We appreciate the Aiello services and highly recommend them.

Recently, we experienced problems with our sump pump back-up system. Mike, Aiello technician, diagnosed the problem and made the repairs. Since 2011, Aiello has serviced our heating, electrical and plumbing needs. We continue to have confidence in Aiello, its technicians, and the services they provide. We highly recommend Aiello.

He was very professional and polite. Thoroughly explained what he was doing to fix the problem in terms I could understand. I was very shocked to have called at 12 noon and to have someone at my house later that same day. Other companies would not have sent someone for days. Very pleased with the entire process. Highly recommend this company and the service person.

Service Technician Steve is very thorough and professional!

Mark and his team were polite and considerate. They worked hard and efficiently on a very hot day in August. They made our conversion from oil to gas a lot less stressful than it could have been. Our heating and hot water system seems to be working very well. The equipment, new plumbing, and the clean removal of the old oil tank makes our home a lot more attractive to us and to anyone who might want to buy it in the future. I can't say enough about the tremendously professional job Mike and Alex did replacing my rusted 60 year old oil tank with a new Roth Oil Tank. My service man Pete was really very professional. He came to the house, went into the bathroom a d I.mediately started work. In a matter of minutes he found the problem and fixed it. He then went into the second bathroom and fixed that problem. He gave me the price before he started the work, had me sign approval before he started the work. In all, he was here less than one hour and had the work completed.
He was very polite and clean.wiped his feet coming I to the house and wiped everything clean when finished.

bobby did a great job of replacing a leaking outdoor faucet with a frost free version (that does not leak). had a scheduling mixup initially, but aiello maintains good contact with the customer, and they made everything right.

Great all around service! When I called they were able to schedule a technician to come out within 2 days. All customer service communications were clear and up front of their process and what to expect. My technician (shout out to Nick) was super helpful, professional, respectful and friendly. He was able to identify how to address the problem quickly and made sure I was aware of the costs that would come with the repair before he started.

Quality service does come at a higher price than others. I ve had the same issue they came to resolve two times prior. Both were with a cheaper service and were only able to keep the problem at bay for a few months. I ll follow up on if paying the higher price was worth the investment.

Tim explained all very clearly, answering my questions thoughtfully. I appreciated his eagerness to have me consider options and to take a few days to think carefully. I know what I most need, and I know what I would like, and I felt at ease balancing those things as I must right now. In the end, I feel confident that I have a reasonable plan. Tim was excellent in his patience and in his work at the house.

HVAC Technician Stephen S arrived shortly after I received a call from Aiello saying he was on the way. It was a little after 9 when the time frame was 8 to 12. I was happy it was early in the window. I had called them because I wasn't getting hot water. Stephen thoroughly explained the pricing and the technical details of the job. He quickly got to the root of the problem and made the repair. He explained that I should get a water softener to prevent the type of problem I had from occurring again. The whole process took about 1/2 hours. I was totally satisfied with the process.

Zack E came out to diagnose an intermittent problem with A/C that has been happening for three years now. Spent quite a bit of time here checking out the system. He made a few adjustments, and replaced a part in the condenser. Answered all my questions, and made sure I understood before leaving. So far so good.

Robert was great. 100% would recommend to anyone, and will be using again.

Very unsatisfied - they damaged my radiator and expected me to pay for a new one. needless to say, I am short one radiator! So they wouldn't replace it, but I did ask for them to cut the pipes sticking out flush to the wall - so nobody trips on them. what did they do you ask? cut out big holes around the pipe in my lovely baseboard and cut the pipe about an inch back behind the wall. apparently "flush" was the wrong word to use during my explanation. so after spending $10,000 - I am still furious months later every time I look at the wall. NEVER AGAIN.

I've had Aiello Home Services clean and service my furnace twice now, and I'm extremely happy with the thoroughness that they provided. They were on time and did a thorough inspection, explaining everything in great detail. They had what they needed with them to service my furnace, and completed the job in a timely manner. BEWARE. They will try and Rob you blind if you look like you don't know anything about plumbing (like if you're a mother with 2 toddlers, sorry guys I know more than you think)...The shut off valve for our side hose had stopped working, so I called Aiello, since they serviced my area and had decent reviews. I called a scheduled an appoitment for that day and was told there would be a $60 service charge if I chose not to use their services.....umm, ok I thought well, I can't shut my water off so I'm pretty sure I'll use them. The man came on time, maybe he saw that I would be an easy buck because he went down to check the pipes and tried to tell me that he would have to replace the whole pipe system for the spigot and it would cost $700 to fix. Yes, $700 to fix a shut off valve for an outside spigot. I said absolutely not and paid the $60 to get him out of my house....I found my kids a baby sitter and bought the rubber washer that needed to be replaced at home depot for............ $3. I'm happy to say I was able to fix the valve and save myself $640....It's too bad they got me for the service charge those thieves. This was last year and I'm looking for another plumber now to replace my kitchen. faucet, but I will NEVER use them again. Lost more money trying to rob me than you would've by being honest, your loss.

Companies like this are why I strongly encourage people to get several quotes. It clearly states on the website $243 discounted to $93 for a main sewer drain clean. When the technician came out he quoted me close to $600 and I had to pay $70 just for him to come out and give me that ridiculous quote. On the other hand, Fletcher Sewer and Drain did the job for $195 and did not charge anything to come out. I normally do not write reviews, but this is close to robbery.

Although they completed requested work to be performed, which in what they are being paid for; If you are reading their yellow page ad, and expecting same day service...DON'T, cause you won't get it. Also.. EXTREMELY OVER PRICED. To replace ballcock in toilet....$345.00. To replace 5' water supply to kitchen sink and 2 Ball Valves...over $1400.00
Make sure you shop around.
