Agua Caliente Casino Review

My wife and I grabbed a couple players cards and were awarded $150 in slot play! Nice! Buffet small, but had good food at a good price. Would go back again sometime!

Wonderful Casino with lots of good restaurants and good gaming. Keep an eye out on their deals as they are often good for seafood in the Buffet. Highly rated Steak house.

The casino's Show venue was very professional and I loved the seats, despite being at the top balcony. The view was decent and I enjoyed the overall experience. My friend and I brought our own alcohol so we didn't have to buy the expensive drinks. The bathrooms were clean and accessible. I was unsure if they had an elevator and the stairs were tricky after a few drinks, haha. 10/10 would go again

Nice facility with lots of food options. Main issue I have is the amount of smoke that sits in whole hotel. Needs a better ventilation system.

My husband and I love this place! We love the games, the bar, the restaurants, the people, the atmosphere, etc. This is such a wonderful place for a date night out to entertain out of town guests.

Actually a pretty nice casino. I was not able to see anything besides the gaming floor. I definitely want to go back and check out the rest of the property and see all they have. If your in the area I say stop in and check it out.

Great food and nice atmosphere, it's a non smoking casino so it smells nice the restaurants are top tier and the attendees and floor walkers are really nice, if you like to gamble or just want a good meal I think this is a good place to be.

I've noticed that it's really messy lately, lots of trash and empty glasses. The dining area was a mess today!

Top notch rooms and attentive service. Although the buffet offered a vast number of options, nothing was better than average.

Did not like that had all the deuce's wild machine"s were down all ten. None the of the employee's new why. Those's are my favorite. Drove in from L.A. Played other machine. Not a Happy camper.

Got kicked out of this casino because they thought I was hand signaling at a blackjack table. I recently had a major shoulder surgery and was just stretching, due to pain. Had a terrible experience here. Thank you Barry Dallas for ruining my trip. Terrible customer service thanks to the security investigator!!!

They have a 24 coffee cafe'. Slots seemed tight that night but I did leave with something. No open steak house, but I had chinese food that was great..

This place is comfortable to stay in and for food options I recommend the buffet. I also recommend you ask for Nina as your server because she extremely cares for the customer and every time we go there she recognizes us.

More about the rooms. Nice spacious showers and they even have tvs in the bathroom, so you can enjoy the game or pretty much anything from the shower or toilet.

Beds are comfortable and some rooms have patios so you can enjoy the view from several floors up. 5 stars!

Smaller casino, had fun. Lost my $$$. But that's why they are there. Good entertainment.

Fun casino with more entertainment options than just slots and table games i.e. dining, shopping, live music, and a great tourist info center with pamphlets and brochures about every tourist attraction and national Park in Southern California.

It's a fun place to go like Las Vegas casinos comps aren't as good but a good environment for enjoyment and entertainment

This place is a tight casino the machines are so tight, they don't give a dime out if they font have to, for such a well advertised as it is I would think the machines would pay better, but I believe they pay so much on advertisement that they can't afford to have their machines pay out much.
Love been going their since it opened and never have I won more than a 100 bucks,. Playing just like I do the rest of the local Casinos, I have always won a great deal at the others I would not waste my money or my time at this place again.

Waters Cafe always a delight. A little pricey but GOOD food. Service has been slow last two times.

Comfortable rooms. Smoky casino. We had a good time.

Too busy and noisy. Lay out is ok, but they had music playing over music, playing over the slot machines. Turned down the music on the slots, but the DJ playing over the casino music gave me a headache. Owner should consider the chaos he creates with Too many varieties of music playing at the same time! Too much extra noise!

Nice casino. Friendly dealers. Not a lot of pizazz...like a show stopper waterfall or something like that at the entrance. Wish they had Let It Ride. Minimum 15 bet for Pai Gow kinda steep. Asked if all 6 of my friends could sit down and learn if they lowered it to $10...pit boss said no. No one was at the table . We all left the casino with our money.

I made my reservation, arrived around 2:15 pm. I was told the rooms would not be ready for least another two hours. I thought no problem but two hours later, still not ready. After a heated discussion and 20 minutes later we finally got a room. Then, 20 minutes later we got the other room. The mattresses were not comfortable, the pool had a lot of dead insects and debris. The casino was, well a casino, one arm bandits. The buffet was small and the food there wasn't that good. The Cafe food wasn't much better. There was a coffee shop that is a must visit.

It's a nice place to stay and have some fun. Rooms are very clean and stylish with marble floor and walls in bathroom and shower area. Floor carpets are clean, spotless, and look new. There is plenty of parking spots in the structure. The casino staff are very friendly and polite. The casino floor is nice and easy to navigate. I noticed that some or few game machines were old with broken buttons but functional. The liquors were a little expesive at the bar through. Overall, despite my loss, it was a great stay and I'd visit again!

Here tonight so far its good. Id love to have a lucky amazing total dream experience here magic.

We checked in yesterday, and were given the wrong category room that we booked months in advance. We are here for 4 nights, and we were told if you don t like it, go to another hotel .

We accepted the wrong category room for the 1 night in hopes to move rooms for the remainder of the stay.

Instead, and 3 follow ups later on our part (not once did they try to contact us to provide any update)... they tried to UPSELL us to a suite.

As an issue which was due to their own fault, I shouldnt have to pay for the right type of bed that we arranged for. Note to management: Make a guest happy for a room that will sit empty otherwise.

Outragous and I certainly will never stay here again. I ll take my casino money elsewhere.

A fun place to go either to buffet or to spend $20.

Good place to have a little fun. Quality of this casino/ resort has declined considerably over past year. The rooms are okay, but upkeep is falling short of a 3 or 4 star hotel. Payout percentages on slots has declined to an almost guaranteed loss of money within minutes. Example, in 2015 , I won 23 hand-pay (anything over $1,200), which declined to 12 in 2016, which declined to 3 in 2017 and none this year, yet my loses have gone up each year, ending in a $48,000 loss in 2016 and a $78,000 loss on 2017. If you have zero expectations of winning, and are okay with your money going down with no uptics during play, while staying in motel 6- like accommodations, then agua caliente is for you.

I love it but the only thing is that my brand new iPhone XR that I just bought about a month ago was stolen from there and people in charge of find it were no help at all so that was discouraging I'm they really didn't try hard at all

Despite much of the audience who drank too much and yelled obscenities among each other, the show was excellent. Bars everywhere as with clean facilities. We will go again

Venue was very nice, the design and arrangements of the seating provided a good view for all. The show was FLUFFY, need I say anything more? Outstanding

Went to The Show to see a concert. The staff was so friendly. Can't wait to return!

We ordered room service and when the the concierge came to deliver food he said we could NOT put it on the room deposit he brought a security guard up with him next. When the guard tryed to get loud with us I called the front desk where they assured me we could charge the room service on the $100 hold they had on our card as deposit. They asked me to explain that to room service. It was all very strange and offensive on top of that the $40 stake we ordered was horrible! Taste like what I imagine burnt rubber would taste like. Never do that again.

The location is easy to get to, right off the freeway. The rooms are excellent, one of the best in the area. We had a great time. They have 2 poker tournaments a day, there aren't many people at it but fun none the less. All in all we had fun.

Good selection of slots and table games. Good payouts at the slots also.

Great place to stay in the dessert. The hotel portion of the resort was recently built so all the decor and amenities are still updated. The pool is pretty standard. Nothing fancy. But there are cabanas available for rent and a wet bar to fulfill all your basic food and drink needs. The casino itself has the standard 24 hour deli, cafe, buffet and steakhouse. All are good depending on the type of dining you are in the mood for. The casino strikes me as a standard Indian Reservation casino. Ther space isn't large, especially for table games, but you are able to get your gambling fix in.

Rooms are excellent....clean....quiet...roomy...nice view on the Valley....

The 360 bar is amazing. The food is great and the feel of the environment is just right.

Had a fantastic time in the casino. Ate at Steak House and had a great salad and crab cakes. Such a friendly staff. A great time all around.

Agua Caliente is a decent casino. Be advised it is a smoking casino with a non smoking section but the whole place smells like a Greyhound bus station mixed with the aroma of a high school locker room. That said, the overall experience was good. Plenty of games, slots, etc to enjoy. The restaurant food was very average and well over priced. Not like Vegas casinos at all where the food is usually free and high quality. If you've ever been forced to eat at the airport you know what eating here is like. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And parking was plentiful. Although I did not stay overnight, it was easy to get a sense of what the rooms and amenities are like: adequate. I recommend Agua Caliente if your expectations are not too high and if you are going with enjoyable company which will mitigate an otherwise unremarkable experience. +++

Good little casino. Not too crowded. A little Smokey but much less then Morongo.

The hotel rooms provide everything you might need and the bathrooms are luxurious. The only problem for me is the slight smell of cigarettes in the casino. Otherwise, it is a really nice resort and spa.

Very very smoke filled casino. Very very loud and cold. Not a friendly face. I gambled and won. And left right away. Wish it was even a little like Vegas, it was not.

I love the Agua Caliente I hit a jackpot of $8,000 about a year ago haven't won since LOL

Not enough penny machines. Not enough cocktail servers.

Be careful customers, when cashing in the vouchers! Print out is not acurate with amounts paid! Don't expect any help from the cahier, supervisor or even their manager! They stick together and treat you like you are the liar, instead of taking care of customers, who should always come first! By the way there are cameras everywhere to prove if there was correct amount being paid. And we are talking not about hundreds, but few dollars difference, which any well trained manager would agree to pay!

Buffet was okay. Staff was really friendly. The casino floor was modern and we'll maintained.

Good variety of games. But the tables are all expensive. Nothing under $15 per hand. Craps uses dice plus cards to create numbers, making it more confusing. Pretty clean.

We went to the casino one night when we were visiting Palm Desert. It was ok nothing special. I was very surprised at what time last call was especially for a casino!! I would have thought it would have been later! I think we probably would have stayed longer if we could have had drinks later.

Great hotel and casino. Took excellent care of us. We ate at the buffet also and it was really good and a great value.

Very fun, clean, and easy to get to from our hotel. Cocktail service was a bit slow, but this was on a Friday and Saturday night. Definitely a fun time.

Very pretty, lots of games to choose from. I really liked the $10 of free play that comes with membership. Lost $40 here. Would definitely come back

Very nice, Large, Newer, rooms with sitting area, mini fridge and shack bar. Ample storage with closet space and built in safe. Room was very clean, bathroom is huge with large deep tub, television and separate toilet room.

First time visiting, the payouts were ridiculous. I was passing through Palm Desert after work and I'm glad I decided stop and give it a try. I could not lose....
