This is the main Office of the Genova public transport car sharing service. It's located inside a building and the personnel is very friendly and helpful. You don't really need to go there to sign up as everything is done via their website.

Bad service. We live in Pegli and the cars have not been available for several months. We asked for explanations but nothing. To rent the car we have to go to Sestri. Cars are often dirty and smelly. We will not renew the subscription.

I used the Genoa car sharing for a few years.
The dual fuel vehicles were always WITHOUT methane and the call center is always busy and difficult to reach (the call center staff, on the other hand, is very polite). Often parking lots are occupied by others, so I suppose they are not checked often. Average opinion.

I have been a Car Sharing customer for 3 or 4 year...

I have been a Car Sharing customer for 3 or 4 years and I am a convinced supporter. The advantages are above all that: 1) you have the car of the size you want for the need you have 2) You have a car in the center without having to go home, when you have an emergency 3) all the other advantages enumerated in the site (No Stamp No insurance No mechanics, Kasco always included, Free Blue Parking, Circulation in the Yellow Lane Circulation in the ZTL Areas etc etc). During the year you save so much that when you need it you take a taxi without guilt! Surely there are disadvantages (you cannot always program the return or the car is not available at home, especially if you live far from the center). The most difficult thing is to change the mentality. From car ownership to rental service. At the beginning I had the whole family against (Wife and 2 children) Today they are all (or almost) unanimous in supporting the Car Sharing.

Bad service, application full of problems, for 2 times it made me stay on foot, they cannot give service since when you call they make you wait 20 minutes. Beyond the more than excessive costs, they are not able to work properly. I will absolutely cancel my subscription.

Overall it works. Weak point: if you have a problem on Saturday and Sunday and you move to work you are in trouble. It happened to me on Saturday 7 and not even the call center was able to solve the problem and I had to take a taxi. in Sant'Olcese to resolve an important work commitment. I hope they can adjust the pitch in this regard.

In addition to my experience that was not positive in various respects, I believe it has a really fundamental deficiency.
The car has a fixed parking space and cannot be used freely around the city.
Today improved the quick and comprehensive customer service in the responses.
