Very nice hotel. Staff was very pleasant. Close to subway - apprx 10-min walk. Great massage parlor located 2-blocks away from the hotel. Ate breakfast at their restaurant called Rare downstairs - very good / large portions. Hotel offered a late checkout and daily snack giveaways. Next time I would prefer a room with a better view.

Well located boutique hotel with cafes, grocery stores and banks within easy walking distance. Rooms are clean and well equipped, some with magnificent views of the city. Lobby is small but good enough for NYC where everyone is on the move. Elevator bank can't handle the traffic at peak checking out time so take preventive action.

Loved my stay. - 1 star because of their resort fee. They say it's to give you free wifi and you do get a $10 daily credit in their little drink area but a 34oz bottle of water is $10 so you get free wifi and a bottle of water for the resort fee.

My room was large (by NYC standards), clean, quiet and a nice view. Super central location with a good casual restaurant downstairs. Would stay here again.

The hotel has a great structure. Big rooms, modern tv system and an amazing view on the rooftop. Besides that, the localization is awesome. Next to the main avenues and restaurants.

Nice

Very nice hotel for a good price in a hot location. Hotel staff is very kind and they have a free wine happy hour from 5-6pm daily. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I would gladly stay here again. 5 stars

Good location and hotel has friendly reception staff. We had a 1 bedroom suite which
was spacious with a balcony. Guest services provided us with extra kitchen utensils we requested to make use of the kitchenette within the suite. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to New York.

Great suite! Had my family of four stay for a total of five nights and everything was awesome! There's an in room safe where you can set your own passcode and keep things secure while you're out sightseeing! Also, if you're heading to an airport (our flight was out of LaGuardia) take the limo that waits outside of the front of the hotel. $50 flat fare and it was a nice ride. Definitely a wonderful place for families and business personal stays!

The hotel was great but they sneak in a $35 facility fee at the last minute that they don t tell you about. I was under the impression that I had paid the full amount from Hotels Tonight. They re intentionally lowering their price by hiding their full price which is morally unethical in my opinion.

The location was great because it was in the middle of Manhattan. We we're able to go to many places without much hassle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had an amazing view of the Empire State Building. I definitely recommend.

Not by any means a cheap hotel, but the internet service was fast enough and the gym was adequate. The bathroom door did not actually close, but rather rolled in front of the bathroom doorway, barnyard style.

This was lacking in privacy for me. Doormen were wonderfully courteous as were the front desk staff.

There was no included breakfast for the hotel. It was in what I considered to be a pretty calm part of town despite being not all that from from Grand Central Terminal. Surrounding restaurants were of a nice variety and were weren't more than 15 minutes walking distance from the water or from other businesses that interested us.

Really liked this place the rooms were nice and clean nothing too fancy. Great location in the middle of Manhattan, had a nice view of the Empire State building from my room, 4 blocks away from Grand Central Station, and very affordable pricing. I'd definitely stay again if I ever make it back to New York.

This hotel is perfect for a short stay in NYC. Great location near Grand Central Station, lovely staff. The only catch is the $25 'resort fee'. Not sure it's worth it for wifi and a bottle of water...

Really great chic hotel, great location and the restaurant that's on the first floor is outstanding as well. Absolutely great place to stay, and would definitely reccomend it to friends and family. Very clean rooms, with some great views too as the empire state building is only about 2 blocks away. The rooftop bar is awesome as well. Will definitely stay here when I'm in NYC again.

A good choice for those who don't really need a subway under the hotel. Newly Renovated Hotel (This is important because I read a lot of bad reviews about old and non-maintained old hotels. Big beautiful rooms, great bed, large bathroom with excellent flow. At first we were given accessible room and after night we asked to replace (room 509) the huge bathroom It came at the expense of the room itself. Room 1122 was great. Elevators a bit slow. In both rooms the safes were not fixed and only ...

Besides the fact they offer wine from 5-6p, gave me a microwave at my request, and the location is good, I was disappointed. I've traveled a lot and stayed in many different hotels, and this was the worst hotel I've stayed at.
1.) You cannot control the temperature of the room. The room was very hot, and the Front Desk's suggestion was to open a window, which didn't have a grid (I mean, what if a bird flies in?).
2.) They charge $14.95 a night for wi-fi. Because I didn't book the room directly through them, I had to pay $25 a "facilities fee" for each night.
3.) The bathroom was not clean. There was a dirty towel and the floor and shower walls were dirty.
4.) What annoyed me the most were the doors that slam really hard and the thin walls. My room was by a housekeeper closet and they kept slamming the door. During the day was the worst as they go in & out of that closet. One housekeeper kept yelling down the hall.

I will definitely not stay here again.

Very nice room, very clean. Bathroom with large shower. View of the Empire State Building. Unfortunately no space in the bar. Very friendly staff. Not far from Central Station (breakfast). Luggage could be deposited on the day of departure. Any time!

Good location close to sights and fantastic food options, friendly staff, good amenities like wine hour and room credit to hotel store, good view, and good sized 1 br suites. Acceptably clean for many, but could use a deep cleaning and updating in my opinion. For instance, the carpet seemed to be dingy and dated in our room, and there were stains on our shower curtain, lamp shade, and couch. And as a final but important grype, housekeeping did not restock regular coffee after the first night, which seems to be a typical cost saving measure by hotels but one that some guests like myself who need coffee to function will notice and speak out against.

I'm just back from New York, I stayed here for 4 nights here, the rooms are nice and clean, the staff are very nice and helpful, the bar and restaurant are lovely, the food is excellent I'd highly recommend the food, the only down side is after along day, if you want to finish of your day with a late drink, the bar closes at midnight, but bars a block from the hotel are open till 4am, all in all, I'd recommend this hotel, I'll definitely stay here again a great location,

Great staff, rooms were great but could have had plates, knives forks so the kitchen area is more functional. You can walk everywhere from here if willing... We did with a 1 year old and 2 60 year olds!!

It's a very nice & modern hotel within a few blocks walking distance from Grand Central Station. The rooms are very nice with good views. There's a rooftop bar that's open, season depending. Beds are very comfortable. Employees there are very helpful.

I was very impressed with this hotel. I've stayed all over Manhattan and this is among the best at this price point. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices for a weekend in December were very reasonable. Fairly convenient to the subway and Grand Central. They offer a free wine hour for guests every evening. I had an opportunity to check in early online and choose what type of room I wanted and any upgrades. I will definitely consider this hotel again in the future.

Nice place. Bed was very comfortable, gym was passable. But restaurant has very little for gluten free guests and I had to go outside to get some water because I didn't want to pay $10 for a bottle of smart water. So 4 stars and not 5.

The hotel itself is ok. The rooms need updating and a more thorough cleaning. The lobby was nice and inviting. The staff is amazing! Great customer service. There was an issue with my bill and it was taken care of immediately. They give a $10 credit per room per day to use towards their "mini bar" (snacks, water, soda, etc), which seemed really nice but when a bottle of smart water costs $9.80, it's not that great of a deal... The location is great but I wouldn't stay there again.

My stay was all great, except for two things:
- The door of the bathroom was never entirely closed because of the system used for it. I felt it wasn't quite private.
- A few days later of leaving the hotel I realized that the hotel charged me 30USD per day, i've sent an email asking about it and they answered that was for 'hotel facilities'. I asked what was this about, because nobody informed me this when we arrived and neither when we did the check out. My reservation was fully paid before the arrival. The last email asking about the 'hotel facilities' was never answered. I really expect an explanation, it's a lot of money that it was charged.

Had a great experience at this hotel! From doorman, to concierges everyone was top notch. The room was clean and nice as were the amenities. First class establishment. This is the second time I stayed here and I will stay here again. I haven t had the same experience at other hotels in the area.

I absolutely do not recommend this for business travelers. Service is substandard. They do not even offer coffee in the lobby, as most hotels do. Room service took over an hour on our first day there, with no apologies. Room was not cleaned when it should have been and again, no apologies or explanations offered. We were literally fifteen minutes late for checkout and were locked out of our room. Never again.
