THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!! In the apartment building I was living in when i first moved in Janko didnt own them it was owned by a company called Peak Properties and they were terrific they always returned my calls right away and most of the time came to fix something the day i requested. I was only with them for about 6 months when Janko bought our building. thats when my hell started. I continuously asked for 5 months to sign a lease with them and I never did. I shouldve took that as a sign but I didnt. I wanted to sign a lease because i didnt want to just be randomly kicked out of my apartment but I'll tell you that later. When I first moved in my rent was only $500 for a one bedroom in Cicero!!!! It was a deal of the century. BUt as soon as Janko took over they immediatley went on on the rent to $575. Which wasnt bad so i was ok with it. 2 months later they sent us another notice that it woould be going up to $625. at that point i started looking for somewhere else to stay. They then sent us a notice about parking (They gave us a sticker for our car window as well) in the back of the building. I ignored it because it didnt concern me because i never parked in the back of the building. They very next day I walked outside to find my car gone. It had been towed!! I went to the rental agency and told them to call the tow company and have them release it to me because i did nothing wrong and wasnt parked in the back of the building. they then told me that they dont know why i was towed and theres nothing they could do. I told them that the rent would not be in full because i had to pay $300 to get my car back. About 2 months later I found another apartment so I was moving the day I was done moving the SHERIFF came and served me evictions papers for the month i didnt pay in full. I went to court and their lawyer said as long as i moved out they would go forth with the eviction. I explained to her i was already moved out and gave her the keys to the apartment. They threw the case out and i washed my hands of them. THEY ARE LIARS SLUM LORDS AND THE WORST OF THE WORST NEVER RENT FROM THEM EVER!!!!
