These guys are the best. outstanding service from everyone. They are super helpful and will get you exactly what you need and explain all options you have. they even offered to price match the equipment I wanted from another store. I'm going to be sending anyone who needs rack and hitch equipment to these guys.

We got a trailer hitch installed on our '17 Highlander Hybrid here, and purchased a bike rack that slides into the receiver on the hitch. The shop is well equipped, sells several brands, including racks from Yakima and Thule, and the staff is friendly and knows their stuff.

We had a few questions about how the rack should fit and feel when mounted a couple weeks after getting it, and they were happy to check it out and make sure everything was just right.

These guys are awesome. They installed a trailer hitch on my MDX on a Sunday - not a normal installation day for them, but I was in a pinch (heading to Tahoe the next day) and they fit me in. Superb workmanship; incredibly knowledgeable; talked me through the whole process; in and out in under two hours despite it being a very busy day and only two guys on staff. I give them my highest possible recommendation; I wish that all retail experiences were like this. In summary - it is clear that they care deeply about their customers, they are passionate about their products and service, and the customer experience was A++.

Put a hitch receiver on a Porsche Cayenne in about 1.5 Hours. Ordered the part and it arrived in about 4 days. Overall very friendly fast service with reasonable prices, would recommend if you need a rack or hitch receiver.

Jimmy and Joe you guys are the best!!! Easter Sunday these gentlemen got my car in early and installed a new Tow Hitch and Luggage Basket. Due to Covid I was able to sit outside and wait. I thought the install would be about 1 1/2 hours or more. These guys got me in and out in about 45 minutes and the quality of the service was excellent. The interaction with Jimmy and Joe was also great customer service. They educated me on different tow hitches and bike racks, so I will be back after my little road trip for a Bike Rack. Don't waste your time ordering online and trying to find someone to mount it. Go to The Rack Spot, prices are great, selection is great, service is 100% on point, and the installation was perfect. A friendly small business that has been around for a long time with dedication to quality. The moment I came in they quickly greeted me and offered help, guiding me straight to what I wanted, an open basket attachment. From how the basket was described the people are conscientious about what they sale, wanting the best possible products. Definitely reccomend this shop for any towing equipment.

I had an amazing experience getting my trailer hitch and bike rack installed. The staff members were all very courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and reliable. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable. They charged me only $25 to assemble and install a Yakima bike rack that probably would have taken me at least 1 - 2 hours. Also took the time to patiently demo how the bike rack operates, once in the store and once installed on my car. The Rack Spot has my highest recommendation.

Very happy with my purchase. Prices are competitive as most of their products have set retails form the manufacturer, but here is why you should buy form them.

We have a 2012 Sienna and they had the roof top storage I wanted. It is a Yakima Showcase 20 and it is very large. I went to the big box stores and they tried to sell me Thule. There must of been some kind of sales promotion as even though I clearly stated I like the Yakima better, they would not stop selling me Thule products. I left and went to Rack Sport San Carlos.

They not only didn't try to sell me another brand they put the Showcase 20 on my car so I could see how it looked. I didn't have to pay for it before hand as this is how they win your business, with service. I came back to buy a bike lock 1 week later. Same sales person helped me, his name is Jimmy. I left the rack spot with my new lock on our way to Yosemite. Within 5 minutes and before we were on the freeway Jimmy called to let me know I left my credit card on the counter and never paid for the lock. So I drove back and took care of it.

Jimmy had to look up my previous order to find my number and he did it immediately knowing we were headed out of town. You can't get this kind of service at a big box store.

Great service, may have to wait 2 days for them to receive your custom tow hitch, but they have a nice selection of racks to attach to it, PLUS, they keep lots of spare keys in house. Can be very convenient, I know!!

This is the store you should go to if you need any kind of rack or mount for your car. They are super friendly and knowledgeable. I came here to install a roof rack in planing to get a roof top cargo box and they did an amazing job. And even after coming back 3 different times to size a roof box to fit my car they weren't annoyed or upset. The customer service is a 10 of 10. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Super experience getting a hitch put on my vehicle. Great price, quick service, strong warranty. I worked with Joe, who was excellent. The pandemic has screwed up supply chains, plus everyone wants a hitch to transport bikes, which are also now sold out, so be aware that components may take a little time to get in stock right now. However, I think this is the place to go.

Customer service? Ha! They so far have ordered the wrong hitch (which they did rectify) and now, for my mother in law's car have "forgotten" to order another one. They told my repeatedly told my wife that they have ordered the hitch and attachment for a mobility scooter, but no-one can find it in the system. IT'S NOT THAT DIFFICULT!!! The owner can't figure it out, and the staff circle around with a resounding "duh!!" when you ask the status. Go to REI or ANYWHERE else to get he work done. If they don't want our business, their wish is now granted. Shazam!!

I drove up from Palo Alto looking for a replacement tie-down strap for a 10 year old Thule rack. I checked REI and some bike shops and found nothing, but within minutes I had an entirely new cradle with an integrated tie-down strap that fit my old rack perfectly! The employees were very helpful.
