The food was good (nothing amazing) but service was so so bad.

The host was super rude and wouldn t let me sit down at the table (I had reserved) until my friend arrived. I m super pregnant so that was weird and inconsiderate. The female host tried to seat me (she was the only nice person) and he told her I had to wait. There were plenty of tables and my friend was just a few minutes walk away. I totally understand if there is a policy but have some flexibility for people who might need a rest from a long day.

It wasn t relaxing at all - and it was my birthday dinner.

I had wanted to try this place for years - I m always passing it and finally decided to try it for my special dinner.

Also our waiter ignored us for a while and seemed like he was on something.
Just weird.

I work a few blocks away and will never come back or recommend it to anyone.

We went to the Brunch, fair prices for NY, there are several options like 2hrs of unlimited drinks or another choice of main course plus drink for 25 usd.
The rich food, the very nice place although the table of the gardener came unpleasant smells. The regular service, probably because there were many people.
At the time of the bill they charged us more than what the menu said.
I recommend you look, we did not say anything because my husband does not like to fight. But they are very important details that must be checked.

We went to Pera Soho for Drinks before dinner around happy hour on a Friday. Given the current law in NY, we ordered appetizers as we were required to have food.

Our waitress was extremely pushy and after ~40 minutes, very uncomfortably told us if we did not order a full dinner they would need to take our table. The restaurant was 70% empty at this point (~7pm), which made this all the more confusing. We asked our waitress what the issue was and she mentioned it was a direct order from her manager, who we requested to speak with. Despite the rude treatment, we offered to continue buying drinks as well as to hit any minimum they required. The manager was set on requiring the full dinner and told us he did not care about us hitting a minimum, (which seemed nonsensical to us, given that we had already ordered food). This was particularly troubling for us, as my friend has struggled with eating disorders her entire life, and we were about to head to dinner. As one can imagine, being forced to order a full meal before dinner is an extremely stressful situation for her.

I will never return to this restaurant again, and would not recommend the experience to anyone. My hope is that management changes hands, as the outdoor patio happens to be lovely and the service team deserves better from their employer than to be forced into this type of uncomfortable conversation.

Good food and great vibe, we visited one week after the corona reopening so we were in the patio which was great - not too crowded, beautiful with a staff that was super nice. The food was good and interesting. The drinks lovely however, if you're looking for authentic mideterenian food there are better spots in NYC ( I grew up in the mideterenian area so I think I am qualified to say :) ).

This restaurant is surely one of the finest place to eat in the neighborhood. Every time I go there I am so happy. They maintain their high standard service and the highest level of cooking they offer. You are always happy with this restaurant. Very recommended.

I go to this great spot quite a bit! This is my favorite restaurant to have a bite. I visit this place at least once a month. The meals are just great, the staff members are professional and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy going in this spot over a decent meal.

Great Mediterranean food!! We had dinner here last week and every single thing we tried was awesome. The dips and chips are are a must(smoked eggplant with garlic yogurt dip, spicy pepper Muammara, Hummus--all incredible). The mezes, the entrees, the desserts... everything was so good. Get the Shashlik Steak Frites. Its fantastic! So happy we went here and experienced these exciting flavors in such a nice place. We couldn't try everything, so we'll have to go back soon. The drinks are also REALLY good. No complaints on this one.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. I rarely ever write reviews but I had to write one for this place because I was so impressed. I ordered the Chicken Shashlik and woooww I definetly Lik my plate clean. Best kabob style chicken I ve ever had (and I ve dined in Dubai). The ambiance was also very beautiful and perfect for a date night. Definitely recommend and will be coming back for more. Also thank you for the amazing service Pera! Our server kept checking in on us throughout the dinner and it was a busy Sunday so much appreciated.

I really love this place. Been here a few times and always have a great meal with great service. We usually just wind up ordering a bunch of apps and a salad and sharing everything. The wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese are awesome! It's also a great neighborhood for parking and walking around or shopping.

Went here for Winter Restaurant Week and was not disappointed! Tried the calamari, phyllo rolls, and the chicken flatbread entree.

The calamari was crispy and well cooked. The phyllo rolls were delicious and complemented by the tzatziki. The flatbread was perfectly crisp and buttery but the chicken itself was a bit dry and the accompanying salad rather plain. Tried my friend's salmon and it was much more delicious! Chocolate mousse and baklava for dessert and these were delightful.

The restaurant itself is wonderful, in the winter the outside area is enclosed in a clear tent so you get all the sunshine but no cold! Looks like a good venue for larger parties.

Great place to enjoy outdoor dining during Covid. Their setup is really safe and tables are all 6 + apart. Staff is very attentive and welcoming. It s nice that the space is in a courtyard so you don t get too much noise from the street.

Order the Shakshuka! It s not spicy at all and has this yummy Mediterranean cheese and crunchy phyllo dough chips on the bottom reminiscent of a crust.

For dessert the date cake with gelato is to die for.

Really nice spot for cocktails in Soho.

This is a review for drinks, as we didn't order any food. Me and my husband visited this place on Valentine's for drinks before heading to our dinner place .
We went during happy hour.We ordered few drinks and they were really good. They had live music. We enjoyed our drinks and music.

Loved the overall experience and ambience of the place.

We can't wait to return, especially during summers to enjoy their patio.

The ambiance was nice, but the food was close to inedible. I went for New Year's eve and expected the food to be worth the very steep price, but ended up not eating any of the 7 courses that they provided. I could have gotten better food at a food truck for $5. This place should probably give up on serving food entirely and just focus on the bar.

If you want a restaurant with options to dine outside or in than this is the placed to go, low lighting for those casual moments and the food, is cooked by a chef that knows what flavors are! The bar is cozy and the staff are extremely hospitable. Yes their are many restaurants in New York that have all of these traits but trust Pera stands alone when it comes to great service. So come on down and fill your pallids with flavors unlike anywhere else.

Stopped in here while in Soho around lunch time. It was raining and all the spots for coffee were packed. I figured I might as well grab a bite. After checking menus at a few places I ended up here. The staff was friendly and attentive and my meal was amazing. I am a classic picky eater who tends to stick with flavors and foods I'm familiar with, and this did not fit that bill. That said, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my ground lamb flatbread sandwich, which was more of an open face thing. I've forgotten its proper name, but it blew my mind. The portion was also a good deal for the price, I was able to have my leftovers again for dinner. Soo good.

This Soho spot is the classier branch to their Midtown older sister. Their Raki is unique and worth trying, even if it's not going to be your regular go-to. It's something you won't see just anywhere. Don't miss the grape leaf chips with muammara (a hot pepper dip only slightly hot) and their shashlik kebabs - super flavorful and tender. The duck was the best, followed by the beef.

This place was on my bookmarked list for ages and we finally gave it a try on Valentine's day. We stopped here for drinks before our dinner at a restaurant nearby. Pera Soho is quite spread out with lovely outdoor, bar seating and formal dining area. It's a great date spot and would be nice spot to enjoy the outdoor seating in summers.

Happy hour runs from 4-7 PM, but HH menu isn't that exhaustive. We tried few drinks off the menu and liked them. Service was decent but it could have been better. There was a live band when we came in and we enjoyed the music.

Overall a great spot for Happy Hour and small nibles.
