The place seemed charming, so it s a pity that the service is so horrid. Worst experience I ve ever had with service. So strange that the manager/waiter was so rude to us for no reason at all. Went in with a really good mood with fun friends, left feeling like our night was ruined :/

Had to wait 15 mins outside despite arriving exactly on time for our reservation. Was chaotic and had wait another 15 to get any service at the table, after being seated. Food was okay, but not worth the idle wait

Excellent service at Pera Soho. What a wonderful new restaurant opened up in the neighborhood. I started the evening off with Rake tasting, which is a really delicious liquor that you probably can't find anywhere else. As I moved on to dinner, I got to try a lot of turkish appetizers and meats and thought the food was great. The waiters were sooo attentive, i was impressed! Would go back there again.

We made a reservation for a Thursday night with my girlfriend. The host along with the manager were not friendly and did not accommodate us. Instead told us to wait for another 45 mins because they didn t have a table for us, and the only table they had was by the sidewalk which that s not what you expect when you make a reservation. Very poor customer service.

We had a reservation for 2:30 and showed up 10 minutes early. Luckily we got seated, but we didn t have a waiter show up for 15 minutes at which point I asked the hostess to please send someone over. We came specifically for the restaurant week menu (which I specified in my reservation). When we were finally able to order, they told us they were out of the Rose Sangria. Seemed strange to be out of something from the bar a Friday at 2, but we asked for the other speciality cocktail which they were ALSO out of. My friend tried ordering the lobster ravioli which they were out of as well. Why give someone a restaurant week menu when you don t have 30% of the items without warning??! The waiters were polite but didn t seem apologetic at all and the food was fine, but not great. Overall a horrible restaurant week experience. Which is a shame because this is how I try out the restaurants I want to frequent the rest of the year in NYC.

The outdoor terrace is beautiful but I can t say I ve had food here that is up to par with the rest of SoHo (but you re still paying the same price as 5 star soho restaurants). I can t say for sure if anything here is actually homemade or fresh (perhaps there is not enough kitchen space). The pita is not fresh. The hummus was average. The paella was essentially steamed seafood on the side of Spanish rice. I had to send back my wine twice. I hope they can take a long hard look at the menu and ask themselves how they can do better. Nothing special except for the venue.

Stumbled on this place while walking around one evening with my family. We went into their outdoor garden seating area which was walled in and private and adorable. There were comfy cushion chairs and sofas as well add cabana style table areas. We only had dessert and drinks but their regular menu also looked great! I definitely will go back to try more. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive and overall it was a great experience. Looked like it would be a fun intimate place for a group. Big recommend!

Amazing a new favorite spot that I will definitely be at often each time I'm out in the soho neighborhood! Their calamari with peppers and sausage is amazing and they blossom cocktail tastes great with it

Very cozy restaurant. Very cozy restaurant. With large terrace area. With big terrace area. Mediterranean fusion food, between Greek, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese with American and Mexican influences.

Cheat Place. Beware of deceit.

I was part of a large dinner event organized by my employer. 3 of us wanted vegetarian / vegan options. The server refused to give us options other than fixed menu.

I had to talk to manager and then server took our orders. The food was pathetic and tasteless. We almost wasted entire food.

When the bill arrived, the credit card charge slip was placed on top with gratuity field empty. And the server was expecting gratuity. I added and signed the slip. The place was poorly lit. So I could not see the itemized bill and charge slip.

When I looked at both slips on reaching home, I was shocked. The gratuity was already added and I was led to believe, no gratuity added.

Please look at the bills enclosed.
Beware of this place.

Having read reviews prior to my reservation, I had hesitations regarding service. However I was pleasantly surprised so say that we had a fantastic experience. Waiters were attentive and pleasant (shout out to Jose!) Food was great. The outdoor area is filled with strung lights and an igloo, very cute! Would 100% recommend!

The truffle fries here are BOMB! I even made an additional order to go. I came for a networking event and I was not disappointed not a single bit. This is definitely one of the places I will have to go for brunch or some other event.

Very tasty Turkish dishes with truly Mediterranean flavours. Great place for brunch with cocktails at the sunny patio when in SoHo. Service and staff are also on point. Totally recommendable.

Pera's outdoor garden space is so lovely. I went on a Saturday and had an almost-warm brunch with a friend in 36-degree weather (I feel stupid writing that). The garden area is enclosed, which keeps out the wind, has plexiglass dividers between tables, and each table mostly has it's own heater. So far, Pera is one of my favorite places for their outdoor winter dining setup and I think it's going on my list for places with with tolerable tempatures to eat and catch up in.

For food, my friend and I had the shakshuka and eggs benedict. Both were great, and the service was lovely too. I'll be back during the pandemic and also after once we can sit indoors.

We were seated in a nearly empty restaurant and after over 5 minutes of sitting, still hadn't been acknowledged by a server. When we grabbed the attention of a bus boy and told him we didn't think anyone was assigned to our table, he told the bartender who seemed to acknowledge but do nothing. Considering the relatively high price point, we decided to leave knowing that the terrible start to dinner would not be shaken

This restaurant is so aesthetically pleasing! The service was excellent and everyone was so pleasant and welcoming. I ordered the muscles which I were delicious. The price was really fair for the amount that I received. The Mediterranean fries weren t too my licking, perhaps too much oregano? Over all, I really enjoyed my experience and I highly recommend!!!!

- Spinach id a ood side, but I don't think they give enough
- Baklava is baklava...a good complement to Turkish rice pudding

Here for a wedding reception, so can't speak to it for normal dinner. Food was incredible though, and the staff was top notch. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for Mediterranean fare.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I like how the service is always fantastic and they keep the spot well kept consistently. Pricing is convenient and they serve sizeable portions.

We were expected a party of 13 and were seated outside. Shortly after being seated we were told they mis seated us and the table was for people intending to spend 2k and they already had a reservation coming in a few hours. They would re-seat us. So they re-seated us about 5 feet away at the same type of table, just not under a tarp. So fine. Then it began to rain. They put umbrellas over us but we assumed it most likely wasn't for our benefit. They asked if we would like to be re-seated inside so I spoke up and said yes. So we waited inside and they were nice about 5 of our guests being late. We ordered but it was definitely a vibe I didn't like. This restaurant is geared toward high spenders. We ordered the basics, $25 meals, an $14 alcoholic drink, water, etc. We were there quite a long time and they were very patient with us. But it just wasn't a genuine servicing atmosphere. It wasn't even that busy at all. It was a rainy day and most reservations had most likely canceled. The food was very good. I ordered the octopus and fries. The octopus was tender but the truffle fries were spicy and I just wasn't into it. I do understand this is NYC but it just wasn't a place I'd go back to. The first 5 minutes of our visit really killed the entire evening.

One of the best places in New York to hang out and dine with friends. 1) fantastic food, drawing on the rich traditions of Turkish cousine, and moving beyond them with creativity, 2) excellent and professional service, 3) surprisingly good and unique cocktails, 4) fantastic garden, a hidden Gem in the village. 5) short but innovative wine list. Go.

Ok sitting the waiting is not bad service is quick but it was two of us and the waiter kept saying if we want one serving I found that kind of rude he must to think I was broke or something .

Small menu executed perfectly! The apricot margarita is strong and the pitcher is big definitely needed a third if not a fourth to finish. Serving sizes are good. You will definitely have a great time and a full belly

Disappointing and FRUSTRATING experience when our party reserved a table for 4 at 7P and requested the courtyard. The host insisted on seating us on the sidewalk although probably 20 4-top tables were open in the courtyard when we arrived. The host said they can t guarantee a courtyard table but clearly the other reservations were no different than ours and SO many were open!! They said they d be happy to move us (my guess is they do this often) and the minute everyone s food arrives there is a table available. At that point it was so much hassle to uproot everyone and the whole party we just gave up. Inexplicable and short-sighted as we live nearby.:/ won t be making so much effort for a special night at your restaurant soon. A real bummer!!!

I came here with friends for celebration and it was a blast. The food and drinks were great but cannot forget the outstanding service. Alex did a great job, a server with experience and positive attitude. Thank you

We had a wonderful engagement party at Pera Soho last weekend!

Emi was our contact throughout the planning process - and she was extremely gracious, patient and fun. She even suggested small ways to decorate the space and make it more personable. Oren was our contact at the actual event, and he went out of his way to ensure our guests were enjoying themselves. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back!

I really liked Pera Soho. I went with a group of 4 at 6 pm on a Sunday and was able to get a walk in seat on the patio, which was very nice. Everyone was happy with what they ordered and I was particularly happy with the zucchini mucver. It was a great selection for vegetarians like myself, the ambiance on the patio is great, and it's reasonably priced for the area! Recommended!
