I am not a pro when it comes to pool issues, since this our second year with a pool, my wife and I went crazy with cheap algicide, now we have crazy soapy pool, so I took my water for testing at Monarch pool, I had the please to talk to Ruth, she was so friendly, understanding and patient with me.. she explained what is going with the pool, how to fix it, she taught me stuff I didn t know, and she did all this stuff before I even bought anything from them.. thank you much Ruth and I will definitely be back..

Ever since we moved to Stafford 7 years ago we have used Monarch for our backyard pool and hot tub. They have been absolutely wonderful. Amazing customer service and a very knowledgeable staff.
Excellent service, on time, friendly employees who always have time to answer your questions. Prices are comparable to other stores if not cheaper. They do all the work for opening and closing your pool and they cover more things in their lists more than other companies. I have used other companies in the area and have not been satisfied with their work or their prices for said work. I would recommend them any day of the week.
We had to have a pump replaced in our hot tub, Steven came out and was professional, knowledgeable, informative, communicated even when the company sent the wrong pump. He called got it all straightened out, had it ready to go when the correct pump was delivered. Even during their busiest time they worked me in and got it done. They are awesome

The Monarch team is provides excellent service and are always courteous. They ve helped me resolve every issue I ve had with my pool over the past 5 years probably some of the worst they ve dealt with. I highly recommend them.
Maintenance crews are good but I feel Monarch exploited the service call charges. I called to tell them the pump was not working and that I had vented the pump per online instructions but still the pump would not come on. So they sent an individual out to confirm the pump was not working (which I had already told them) and they had to order a pump. So I was charged $155 for a 10 minute service call to tell me what I already knew. Then I had to pay another $155 service charge to have them come out to install the pump. So a total of about 1 hour of work cost me $310. Also, the Caldera hot tub I purchased from Monarch was only about 2 and a half years old (6 months out of warranty). Total bill was almost $1000 to replace a part that should not have failed in such a short period of time. Not a very good testimony of the Caldera product. I will think long and hard about where and the brand when I purchase my next hot tub.
We have been using Monarch since 2007. They have always been very courteous and knowledgeable in all aspects of pool care. The one trait I like best is there are no hard sales; when they test your water all they do is provide guidance on how to rectify the issues. Monarch was also the company we went through to purchase our Primo XL grill (we highly recommend this grill, it is awesome).
Love this place very friendly and knowledgeable. Great customer service also They are not about selling you quantity but quality and I like that about them. They will tell you if you don t need something they are not about just trying to sell sell sell. It s hard to find places with that type of customer services.

Absolutely superb service. We had a leak in our pool liner and Austin was able to immediately locate and fix the leak. He also thoroughly checked the entire liner for additional leaks. I have been with Monarch Pool Care, for several years now and I just had one of the best experiences, so positive that I had to write a review. My old pool cover had to be replaced, so I purchased one to close the pool for the year. It didn't seem to fit right, but I thought maybe that's the way they are manufactured now, but I was wrong. After all the rain we had, it pretty much almost came off. I went to purchase a cover pump and spoke with one of the managers about it. He told me that it must have been packaged wrong and might be for a smaller pool. Without hesitation, he told me to bring it back and he will get me the right size cover. At first I thought maybe I have to bring it in and pay for the difference or something, but there was no charge at all.

I love this company and they are by far the best pool company around. This is our first pool and we had them open and service our pool last season and this season they do a GREAT JOB! They also test your water for free and let you know exactly what you need and how much to put in your pool. I have it tested weekly and my pool looked fantasticlast all of last season and is looking fantastic so far this season. I cant say enough about the staff they are so friendly and patient and explain everything perfectly. They are all very knowledgeable and I always have a lot of questions lol I cant thank them enough I opened my pool on April 30th 2018 for the first time and we were so nervous that we would mess something up but thanks to Monarch everything was perfect. This is our second year with them and they opened our pool on April 29, 2019 and again did a fantastic Job If you are looking for a honest, knowledgeable, friendly pool company that does a great job you need to call them they are the BEST! The staff that showed up was nice enough to answer all my questions about the system and offered up advise on how to keep system running right. I just bought my home and first time with a pool, so the help was very welcomed. We have been using Monarch for our weekly pool needs for years. They always keep our water looking good! When we need a pool repair Monarch has always worked quickly to get our estimate, set up our appointment, and make our repair. The pool company has always been honest and dependable!
We could not be more disappointed by the lack of professionalism and customer service. We ordered an expensive hot tub and had to go into the store and phone numerous times to try to obtain the status of delivery given that it is already a month late. Staff members did not return calls and were simply unprofessional and frankly rude. Go elsewhere if you have hot tub needs. Also you only have 3 days to change your order. So this means that it does matter when they finally deliver they have you. Which is why they don't really care to keep the communication going because they really don't have to. After your 3 days are up they dont care at Monarch Stafford. You are in your own.
I have been a patron of Monarch Pool Care for 12 years and they have always been straight forward and a great group to work with me in major projects for my pool and plumbing works. They are always good about trying to develop solutions due to my pool getting direct sunlight from sun up to sun down such as plumbing with schedule 40 PVC due to the lengthy UV exposure. Both Ruth and Glen, the owners are always great with my girls as well when they are in the store as if they were part of their own family.

Dropped off a Polaris 9300 for diagnosis and repair. Was told it was the power pack ($453). So I said go ahead and order and do the repair. Brought the cleaner home after the repair and had the exact same problem. Called and was told, hey just bring it back. These power packs are a two screw install, they removed the old and put on the new one. Obviously it was never tested before it left their shop, but that's not an issue for them. Just bring it back and they will try again to find out what the real problem is. So now I've made the 17 mile round trip 4 times for an item that was not even tested before it left Monarch. Had they done their job and tested the item, I would not still be dealing with this issue. Went ahead and got my money back. It amazes me how a business like this feels you have nothing better to do. Just crazy to expect them to do what they are paid to do.
We purchased a Caldera Spa from Monarch Pool Care back in 2014 and the staff has been amazing to work with from day one. The staff is super informative, patient, and friendly and is always willing to offer tips and advice to make your pool/spa experience great. Yesterday dropped off a water sample to have tested and advised owner would have son return for analysis. When our son returned he was sold over $100+ in chemicals for our SALT water pool. When we discussed our the readings with our regular pool maintenance person, he suggested we return these chemicals as they were not necessary and will be flushed out shortly due to end of season and our water was completely safe, just over salted due to improper reading on our equipment which be replaced in the spring.
This morning, less than 24 hours after our purchase the owner refused to refund our money and take back the unnecessary chemicals even though the products were unopened. He stated it was their POLICY not to take back chemicals. As a local business owner myself, I understand the need to have policies to protect my business however, I also understand the need to be flexible enough to understand when common sense should overrule arbitrary policies.
As usual, Monarch Pools has completed another successful pool season. Their courteous and professional service has ensured that I will seek their exemplary expertise next year.
Monarch was great. I was able to do find out the problem and they ordered the part and put it on very quickly. I now have a leak free hot tub and able to enjoy it thru the winter. Monarch is a first class organization and it showed!
