Great and clean rooms with a excellent and courteous staff.
Just one of the coolest buildings in chicago...period. It's not just a night's stay...it's an adventure! Be sure to check out the ball rooms, the vintage pool area, the lounge on the 32nd floor with an incredible view on Michigan ave. (I used to do my homework here when I was in college.) Such a coo...
The room with enough furniture deficiencies (worn / old furniture), problems in the bathroom in the sink; the safe did NOT work in the 5 days of stay, it was not fixed.
It was pretty good. Room was nice and view was amazing
Stayed at this hotel with all of my co-workers and boss. My boss made it clear not once, not twice, but three times he was paying for all of the rooms. When he called to make the reservation, he put his card on file. When we checked in, the person at the desk asked for a card to put on file for inci...
Was overall very underwhelmed by my experience here. I was expecting to be able to refrigerate food from restaraunts, but there's no personal mini fridge, just a mini bar with a small section (and I mean SMALL) for personal use. Removing any items from the mini bar would result in being charged for ...
Rooms are a bit small, amenities are lacking, and there are obvious corners cut to save time and money (no caulking around the shower head...not even a cap). The sheets are arranged in a very odd way.... Mattress pad, fitted sheet, comforter, another fitted sheet, only sideways.
Not bad, per se,...
Clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Centrally located to a lot of attractions and restaurants. There is a Starbucks and Michael Jordan s Steakhouse right in the Hotel. Don t hesitate to stay here. Staff is great.
This hotel is great. The people are nice and and very accommodating.
HUGE room. Outstanding service. Outstanding amenities. We ll be back soon!
I went to Eno which is a wine bar located inside the hotel. This is a great place for groups or couples to go enjoy a glass of wine or to try a flight of wine.
Staff. Malcolm at front desk was wonderful. Pleasant at check in and helpful later when I had a special request.
I would like to have my room clean before noon and with all common amenities as usual, other then this our stay was great, thank you!
Very nice, as you would expect for an Intercontinental. Food was great in Michael Jordan's Bar ( opted for the bar and not steakhouse). Only rated it a 4 because I could clearly hear the people in the next room and had a faulty toilet fill valve that kept running every 10 minutes or so. I notifie...
Great staff, great location, and a clean room. Would stay here again many times over.
We had a meeting in the King Arthur room and it was beautiful! Best meeting room I saw that brought the old Chicago history into the room.
I stopped by to use their WiFi. Connected pretty quickly and was relatively hassle free
Great location on the strip, nice and clean, room is a bit small but comfortable overall. Helpful and friendly staff!
Location is great. Room was clean. Service was excellent. Everything I could ask for.
Top grade place, gotta check out the pool: you'll feel like a gangster for sure:)
For those individuals for whom minibar meals are standard fare, this is the hotel for you. As for the rest of us, I imagine an experience like this:
After you spend hundreds of dollars for a lovely dinner at the attached Michael Jordan Steakhouse and cram your leftovers into the available "personal...
Fast service For my fast-paced life. Staff was very friendly.
Awesome friendly staff and special treatment on our anniversary.
Best location and amazing breakfast,Also helpful staff members.Love it Love it.
I will go back again.
Fantastic service, fantastic employees ,conference rooms were perfect!
Excellent friendly check in. Clean rooms with great amenities. Nice pool and work out facility. Excellent location right on Michigan Avenue.
My wife and I spent three nights here at the hotel. I am writing to review after one night's stay. Check in was seamless and front desk staff was friendly, polite and helpful. The lobby was beautiful and conveyed a grand feeling as you enter the hotel. There was a lively beat to hotel, there were ba...
Beds were extremely comfortable. Pool was huge and made for lap swimming. Nice fitness area. Jordan restaurant good. Overall would go back.
Great Hotel really well located on the magnificent mile. When booking a room, try to go for one in the executive Tower which was renovated last year. The rooms offer all the amenities needed including a huge Samsung TV. The staff is very attentive and extremely friendly and helpful. A big compliment...
We stayed at a room in the executive tower, which is roughly 30% larger than rooms in the Classic Tower. We loved our room as it was adorned in a modern way, get the hotel still retained its classical field. Staff was extremely friendly and the location is A+ to major shopping and landmarks in the M...
Fantastic location. Friendly staff. Accominadtions were very nice. Food was great.
Everyone from the bellman and even security guard were extra welcoming. We had a great family weekend in the city and the holiday touches like Santa s workshop in the lobby are really cute! We ordered room service hot cocoa, milk &cookies and they were amazing! We will be back next year to kick off ...
Lots of ornate detail in the architecture and interior design of the building, but very modern hotel rooms. Floors of conference space accommodating anywhere from 20-200 people. Would definitely be interested in coming back for a personal stay.
Paula at the front desk was great & very informative
Attended a wonderful wedding at the InterContinental. The venue on the 5th floor was gorgeous and staff were courteous. The steaks we had with dinner were perfectly prepared.
WOW!!!! The Intercontinental lives up to my expectations. The entrance is a fantastic 1920s welcome & only the beginning to the rest of the property. I stayed on 38 in the Executive Tower in a 2 room suite. The bathroom was large with a nice bath & separate shower. The bedroom was spacious with its...
Very helpful and accommodating staff. Bell service was a little slow.
Avoid. Rooms are tiny, old and tired. Hotel staff seems upset they have to be there. No desire to resolve problems or provide a good experience. Reservations are not honored (see below).
We reserved and paid for a larger room with 2 beds, because there were 4 of us saying. Upon arrival, only smal...
Staff are very courteous and helpful. Location is great and food options were good. Rooms are showing a little bit of wear but overall I would recommend staying here.
We were disappointed in what was supposed to be a luxury hotel. The room was one of the smallest I have ever stayed in. The bathroom had stains along the wall with the sink, and the access panel under the sink was not secured allowing view of the plumbing and the various debris that accumulated in t...
A good hotel with all the amenities and a great location. Enos wine bar, Micheal Jordans Steakhouse and a giand Starbucks
My favorite place to stay in Chicago. You can't beat the location and the hotel is very nice. I would recommend booking a suite when staying here so you have enough space as a standard room is a little small but is typical of Chicago.
Room was nice, bathroom not as nice as the bathrooms of other members of our party, they did leave the previous persons drink in the mini-fridge. But overall nice cleans rooms, and friendly staff
Nice rooms. Can be loud from sirens, etc even on the highest floors.
Bar is not great. Layout is poor for meeting colleagues, conference attendees, friends. Dark, dingy, hard to get around for a bar in an otherwise upscale hotel.
I was here on a business trip all expenses paid from my sponsor and my credit card was still charged for unknown reason. I called accounting, no apologies or anything. Now i have to wait 3 to 5 business days to get my money back. No wait for them to get double their money. Pay close attention to you...
Small but clean room, very low water pressure in shower. Good location, friendly staff.
Only attended the steakhouse inside, good food. Cake wasn't as good as everyone makes it out to be.
Gorgeous hotel, great for a wedding. In downtown Chicago surrounded by anything you could want.
I could have the perfect nite if my girl was here with me.
Great location. Rooms were nice and bed very comfortable. It is next to Michael Jordon s steak house and close to many places to eat.
We paid almost 400 for our room and it was NOT worth the money at all. The room was smaller than any hotel room I've ever stayed in. It was decorated very vintage like - my grandma probably decorated it. It was a cleaner version of a Super 8, basically. You have to pay 20 dollars for wifi, which is ...
OK hotel...hot water takes a while to get going...desk clerk should have been more pleasant and paid attention to us while he was dealing with us.
Love this property. Service is impeccable and the rooms are well appointed. Worth a little more to stay here, right on the Magnificent Mile.
Attending RISi's conference. Nice place and great location.
Nice, very good service from the staff, very clean.
While the staff and lobby are excellent the room was not well kept up. The bathroom wall was rotting and stapled into place. Small to standard room size. I did like the pillow selection, though! The Starbucks in the lobby was convenient, however.
Very nice. Very clean. Right in the middle of Magnificent Mile. Good view of city.
I was just at the InterContinental Chicago a month ago when I was visiting to collect a painting from an art seller. Fabulous hotel, and the staff were exceptionally sweet. I was able to safely secure and store my art valuables while in Chicago at the hotel. Thank you InterContinental.
