I started using ZIRX two weeks ago and it's changed my life. It's SO convenient - I literally pull up to my office and there is a ZIRX valet there waiting for me to park my car. Super handy - especially when I'm wearing heels or running late. It's like the Uber for parking. The app is still pretty new, so there are some kinks to work out, but it's an awesome service and I would totally recommend it.
They also have great deals on monthly parking - a few friends use it and love it.

I was obsessed with you and recommended you constantly to my co-workers. I used to use you every day and even forfeited my parking spot in the Amazon garage to keep using you!
One of your parkers scratched my car and I was so impressed with the way you handled making me whole again I loved you even more.
NOW
You raised your prices (15 to 18) on me and then ask for a tip? Not to mention regularly I request a car and it will say 5-10 minute wait and then jump up to 20-50 minute wait? WHY? (I am sure this has something to do with me not tipping in protest ..)
The self-park spot (that only charges 16) by my office was closed so that is not even an option!
I am so upset because I can t get my parking spot back and Zirx is no longer worth using if I have to wait 50 minutes ..
What a great service - $15 to $20 to park ALL DAY in downtown San Francisco (LA, DC, San Diego, Seattle, Manhattan, Brooklyn as well now). Can't beat that for value, and your first experience can be FREE (use the promo code PAULH1 in the app).
This has become my default option for parking every day now - door to door service is super convenient
Service thus far has been impeccable - agent meets you promptly at the drop off point of your choice (enter an address on the app or simply use the movable pin location feature). To get your car back, you can either schedule it in advance (i.e. I want my car back at xxx location at 5pm) or go on the app and hit "Request Return Now" (at busy times of day, allow 15-20 minutes, but normally less than 10).
Drop off and return locations can be completely different if you wish.
They park your car in attended garages, so I haven't had to worry about questionable locations, and the agents I've experienced (numerous over the past 12 months) have all been cheerful and professional.
The fuel or car wash options are great to have if you're in a rush - the fuel option wasn't the cheapest way of filling my tank, but certainly convenient.
Sign up is easy, no waiting for an invitation - try it today and you won't be disappointed - the first parking experience is on them (use promo code PAULH1 in the Payments & Passes section of the app)
***EDITED: The CEO of the company called me on Saturday, and then e-mailed me on Sunday, apologizing multiple times. I could hear in his voicemail that he left, that he genuinely felt bad about my experience. When the CEO calls you, I think that reflects hugely on the company. In my response to him, I mentioned that I had been using Zirx regularly and had no problems up to that point, so overall the service isn't bad, I just had a really bad experience. Had I not been trying to get from San Francisco to San Jose to make a flight, it wouldn't have been as big of a deal, but on that particular day, I really needed to have my car in a more appropriate time.
Thanks to Zirx for making it right!
They took AN HOUR to get me my car back. Here's how the event unfolded:
6:12: I asked for my car to be returned.
6:35: The first valet showed up - with the wrong car. That right there was already a 23 minute wait. The best part of this was him asking me - do you drive a mini cooper? And I said yes, and in fact it's red, like the car you brought me, but this is not my car! (What I was thinking is - certainly there are more than 1 red mini coopers on the road, right?)
6:44: When I called customer service - they said that the valet would be there in between 10-15 minutes. At 6:44 (10 minutes later), I could see that Stephanie the valet, was still not on her way, so I called her. She said she was just about to get to the garage, after a quick back and forth about where the garage was, I gave her specific instructions of where to meet me (I was going to walk her direction to try and cut down on my wait time).
6:54: Over the next 10 minutes, I tried getting in contact with her 5 different times (according to my phone records), but she didn't answer. It's been well over half an hour and my car STILL wasn't on it's way.
6:54: Then I see all of a sudden, I have a different valet - so I call him, and tell him exactly where to bring my car (since I had walked towards the garage). I suspect Stephanie doesn't know how to drive a manual, so they had to find someone else to bring me my car.
6:57: I can see the valet still hasn't left, so I call customer service back to see what the deal is and they promise me the valet is on his way.
7:00: I call customer service again because he's driving the wrong way!
7:03: I call again, because I can see he's back where the garage is and they promise me he's on the way, despite for whatever reason, he's back at the garage.
7:08: The valet calls and I tell him - FOR THE SECOND TIME - exactly where I am because I'm not at the dropped pin spot and he tells me - oh, I'm already on 9th street and I'm about to turn right on Bryant - WHICH WAS THE WRONG DIRECTION AGAIN!!!!! I told him not to turn on bryant because it's a one way street and that's the opposite direction, so he should go straight on 9th, left on harrison and left on 10th. So I then had to walk BACK to where I basically started.
7:13: He shows up with my car.
Seriously?????? It's hard to believe, but it happened! Great job Zirx!
I've been using Zirx for at least 6 months. I just got a parking violation from SF in the mail. Dated in the middle of the day, several hours after I had given Zirx my car. I have the email receipt from them to prove it. It's also on a street far from where the app tells me my car was "safely" garaged. Called Zirx to complain, they simply asked for a photo of the ticket and would reimburse me. That's it; no surprise, no apology. If you have to use the service, check the mileage before and after and take a photo of the person who takes the car. I won't use it again.
I have been using this service for about 6 months. It has been working great for me. Recently I signed up for the monthly pass (unlimited usage for a flat fee) and use the service for commuting downtown.
In the morning before I leave the house I drop a pin at the downtown location I want to drop off the car, most days the valet is waiting for me. On a few occasion I need to wait for the valet, but usually only for a few minutes.
In the evening you again drop a pin where you want the car delivered. It can be any location downtown. To ensure timely delivery you can order the car in advance.
I really appreciate the ease of use and the valet all seem very friendly.
For new users you can use my referral code HENRYL2 to park for free (up to $20 value)
Love that zirx makes parking downtown a non-issue. Scheduling is simple and so far delivery has been fast and reliable. Looking forward to trying Zirx in LA and DC.
warning to anyone that uses the ZIRX app to park in financial district in San Fran...important documents and sunglasses missing from glove compartment and driver door won't lock. AAA found a piece of plastic jammed into my driver's side door handle to prevent it from locking. #zirx #scam #sanfrancisco #badbusiness
