Omg, I had my birthday party their last May and it was AWESOME. The food was fabulous, the service was amazing and the Karaoke, my whole point for going was out of this world. The energy was positive and high octane. Loved the main karaoke lounge but for a private party, eight of my closest friends came and we sang our hearts out in that private room! I think we shut the place down and had the best night ever.

The down town vibe was very hip but not obnoxiously so because Philly Pholk aren't so on that nose in that way. Uber home if you go here because you're gonna drink good stuff and eat and SING!

They no longer have Japanese Karaoke. They changed the system a few weeks ago and the new selection is quite disappointing. No Japanese, Korean, etc, and few classic rock favorites except the Beatles. No even Hey Jude, though, but a bunch of other random Beatles songs. It was a poor decision to get rid of their old machines! The two stars are for the food which was still good.

The food is great, and the drinks are well mixed. Although the song selection might be a tad confusing at times, they have almost all of the popular karaoke hits. My group of friends and I have come here a couple times, and we enjoy getting a private room to sing our hearts out. The pricing is fair, and it is always a good time.

Great place. I grabbed a late night dinner on Wednesday when they had great prices on the smaller rolls. My favorite part is the portion size - it might be small for some (especially since the sushi was really fresh and tasty!), but it was perfect for me. This allowed me to order small rolls and some skewers - giving me variety and a complete meal with some 2 4-piece sushi rolls, pork sausage and some broccoli all for under $8!

I've been coming here for like 11years it's still my favorite resturant and I absolutely prefer their sushi over many sushi places I've been to. I've celebrate at least 6 of my birthdays here. Whether it was for dinner or karaoke I've never been disappointed.

Really Really love this place!!!! They have really awesome happy hour specials and I could eat 1000 of these skewers!

They have a free flowing kitchen so it's fun to go and order lots of different things and enjoy them as they come out.

Looking forward to coming back on a Tuesday for their $1 skewers.

The staff was friendly, we were a large group who went in without reservations but the manager made sure our wait time was minimum and got us a table in 10 mins. The food was amazing with $1 Skewers on Tuesdays. Definitely would come back to try Karaoke lounge

Overally okay atmosphere, Yakiroti was great. However...I was craving Kare-age, that's the reason i came here for... but it wasnt the Fresh one as i expected. Pre-heat Kara-age. Kare-Age is only great when its served right after it got fried, freshly...T.T

I definitely had fun, but the karaoke room was just a little too cramped for 6 people. Our server was great, miniature sized sushi rolls, not so much. Shots of tequila were watered down. I would give a 2nd try but maybe not on a busy Friday night.

This place is a MUST go to for Karaoke lovers. They have private rooms and then the public karaoke at the bar. The DJ was cool as hell, tried to find songs that I wanted that weren't on the list. Drinks were ok. The atmosphere was cool, met some cool ppl and we just had fun.

The grilled squid is excellent, many other things are sorta hit or miss. You'll have a great first experience due to the fun atmosphere but after the 2nd and 3rd visit, it's not something you'd really need to/ want to do again. You will want to return though so that says something.

I chose Yakitori boy's for a celebration Friday night with a few friends and one of the private rooms. It's the only karaoke place I had been to previously, my friends had been elsewhere. I chose to book during happy hour special where aslong as you meet the minimum spending limit per hour, they waive the room fee. Food was good but drinks were very watered down, and I don't drink often. Song selection seemed good but very overwhelming with many Asian artists even after choosing English play lists. As someone stated before in an earlier review, the videos in the background were pretty distracting and unrelated to the songs.
My friends were disappointed and here's why I may not go back:
Waiter didn't check to take last call orders as our time was almost up. When I noticed the time, I hit the service button and he came in and said "last call" in an "oops I forgot" tone. So I asked what our tab was up to so we could order. He didn't know, went out to check. Then comes back and tells us our total including the room fee because we "didn't order enough". What happened to taking our last call order?! When I asked he said it was too late. Really rubbed me the wrong way.

First time being here yesterday and I must say we had a blast. While waiting for my party to arrive, I got a drink and some skewers on the first floor from a very kind and smokin hot bartender. There was 7 of us so we had a private room which was nice so we could have our own karaoke experience. The food was good, the karaoke equipment is legit and I like how they have disposable covers for the microphones to keep germs from previous parties using the gear. The servers were very attentive and kind (Pat & Nancy). This is definitely a fun place to go to. One of the party members vowed to leave at 11:30pm due to having to work early in the morning, let s just say she never made it there the next day . Need I say more on the fun factor?

I went with my classmates and chef for our class outing. I was initially impressed by the decor and lighting (re: low, moody, intimate), but throughout the night, found it bothersome and straining on my eyes. The seating was tight for a reservation of 12, and we found ourselves a lot closer than usual. The food + cocktail menus were fairly easy to read, the cocktail menu being easier to understand than the former. Even without descriptions, the servers were readily able to answer any questions we had about the food.

That being said, that seemed to be the extent of their service. We had a few people late for dinner, and you could just see how bothered they were. It was clear by the end of the night they were annoyed with us, and made us wait at least 30 minutes for the check, and another 10 minutes to process everything.

For my dinner, I order the mini ramen with pork, the spicy salmon roll, the spicy toro roll and an Angry Orchard. The mini ramen with pork was flavorful, the broth was well balanced and the pork was tender. I would have liked the noodle-to-broth ratio to be a bit higher (it seemed like there was a lot more broth than noodles), but overall, it was enjoyable. The spicy salmon roll left a lot to be desired. It was plain, not spicy at all. Palatable, but I wouldn't order it again. The spicy toro roll was the wildcard for me as I had never had it before. I enjoyed it. Again, it wasn't spicy as advertised, but it had a salty, briny flavor that kept me going back for more.

Overall, the night was enjoyable, and the food was alright, but I wouldn't go back on my own.

We went here to celebrate a few birthdays and we reserved a karaoke room prior to our arrival. The servers were great along with the food. I enjoyed the romantic lighting in the rooms. A few things I would change is for them to add more song options. Also, the drinks are expensive so keep that in mind. Overall I enjoyed our visit.

This place is ridiculous, called to make a reservation for tomorrow and cancelled it less than an hour later. They still charged me a $40 fee even after speaking with the manager. Certainly will not be going there for karaoke anymore

Good experience but they didn't have any of the present artist I listen to like lizzo and Janelle monae and her, and the artist they did have they only had some hits I would have love it if I could have been able to sing all the songs I desired to sing bit for the most part it was still a good experience food was great and the served was superb

I went here for a friend s birthday dinner. The decorum to this place is nice and it has a very great aesthetic. There were a lot of people there and I don t think they had an adequate amount of staff because you had to wait a long time before them coming back to your table. The food is not my cup of tea. It seems like the chicken is extremely chewy. I m not sure if it was done or not. It s safe to say I won t be returning.
