This is a fun little place to gather a bunch of friends, fill a room to the brim, and sing your heart out. Only been here once, but had a great time and would love to go back with the right group of people. Atmosphere is lively and entertaining, worth an evening stop.

Great place to host an adult party. Rented a private room for 18 people for my birthday and everyone had a blast. The servers were attentive (Annie was awesome) and the food was good.

The karaoke machine was a little tricky to navigate, but not a major issue. Be aware that parking is difficult on busy nights and also encourage guests to bring cash as there are limited options to split the bill. All in all, a great time. I will definitely go back!

Yaki is a local haunt and it's been the same thing for years and years. The menu doesn't change much, if at all. I don't think they even have daily specials. Food here is okay. Many of the dishes on the menu are above average but their yakitori is always strangely greasy/oily and occasionally overcooked. I have a strong base for comparison, having eaten yakitori all over the USA and also in Japan and this seems to be common among all Yaki/Japas locations. If you're here for some drinks and karaoke upstairs, it's a good time, but if someone wants to come just for the food, there are a few better places within the city where you can get a similar menu and the quality is a little better.

Went for a birthday. The private rooms are a great concept since you have your own server and spot to sing. The rooms aren't huge so ours was cramped but we had a great time. The outer main bar area got very packed and you have to pay to sing songs. It was confusing since I couldn't see where the dj/microphone person was to get the mic from when it was your turn to sing. I would return again for a private room but not for the general bar area.

I had a great time thanks to great people. Song selection is okay. Need more updated music. The room was meant for 6 to 8 luckily only 4 made it because that many people in that small area would probably be a hot, sweaty, and uncomfortable mess. The drinks and food were good. It is a good place just to go with friends to hang out not for a special occasion.

I love celebrating with friends by getting a private room to sing here. The service is excellent and the price extremely reasonable, especially while the free room promotion is active (Sunday-Thursday 5-11pm). On those nights, if you meet the minimum food spend, you get the room for free. I highly recommend this, since the food is great. The karaoke song selection is also better than other places I've been.

I had a good time here for my niece's birthday. You get a private room with a karaoke machine, microphones. They have a great selection of music. They have a great selection of drinks and they're not shy with the liquor. The food is also good. The menu items were so hard to choose from because everything looked good. I would definitely go back.

This is my friends and I go to place! Everything here is good! We always get the yakitori don but beware this this takes 45 minutes to make but it's worth it. I always get my array of skewers. Some of my favorites are the chicken skins, quail eggs wrap in bacon and chicken liver but they are all good! The American dream roll is my favorite roll there!! Enjoy!!!

I went here on a Friday night for a friends birthday. Overall I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience. , the dress code is only enforced for certain people, the drinks were extremely watered down, the bartenders were slow for a light crowd, and the karaoke machine was out of sync and used by their staff there rather than paying customers.

I specifically talked to the manager about the dress code since I was asked to remove my hat. Normally I would not care since many places have a dress code, however, many other customers were breaking the dress code by wearing hats, hoodies, or leggings/sweats. She told me my hat made me a security threat since the cameras were unable to see my face even though I had my hat on backwards.

Even without the problems with the dress code, the cheap karaoke machine and weak, watery drinks are enough to make me find another karaoke bar to bring my money to.

Security here was extremely nice and probably the only redeeming factor about the entire establishment.

This is an awesome place to get drunk and eat really delicious food. It's fairly inexpensive variety of sushi, tempura , skewers and drinks has turned this place for me to a normal spot. Oh and if you want you can go upstairs and sing karaoke. I have spent hours in this establishment. And quite frankly if you got the right group of friends this place is super fun. I recommend this place for dinner to go sing karaoke and have cocktails happy hour after graduation after a wedding anytime

Have some good happy hr prices at the karaoke bar upstairs, food was so-so. We were there with a larger group (approx 25 ppl) & our waitress kind of screwed us when it came to our bill - had 2 bills and got double charged on a few things.

Yakitori Boy has a nice environment with amole seating. Parking is a bit difficult but the area warrants that. In my opinion their specials for the skewers is what attracts me. A bit overpriced overall but they have great service and a full bar to accommodate you. I would give this place a try if you re in the area looking for asian late night eats.

This is my go to place for karaoke. They have good selection of songs. My friends and I had booked a private room for three hours. They serve good food too. It s in the heart of Chinatown, lots of desert places near by.

The food here is extremely affordable with a variety of choices. You can get carried away and spend to much if you don't watch your spending lol. You make your own fun here. I really enjoyed myself. Also they have a great variety of song choices for karaoke.

Good food with superior quality. The menu was nice and the place was very cool and cozy. If i talk about the price was also reasonable. The cocktails were superb with great flavor. I think the place is unique from other.

This place is very strict with the ID policy which I understand. The waiter was really nice and tried his best in guiding us how to use the karaoke screen. The private room we were put in was big enough for about 10 people. The rooms were padded to help with the noise. I will definitely go back

Food was fantastic and the rooms were clean and quite soundproof. My only disappointment was the lack of Japanese selection in the karaoke machine. For a place that focuses on Japanese food and entertainment, I was surprised that they didn't have much to choose from.

Nice variety of reasonably priced Asian dishes, sake and cocktails.
You can sing karaoke at the bar upstairs (costs a couple bucks per song) or the better deal is to rent a private room. Fun times.

This place is awesome! I have had fun in the lounge but the private rooms are great and worth the price. Always great service. My two loves are sushi and singing so this place in my eyes has it all!

My sister had here birthday party here. Sushi rolls came out with very dry rice, like my rolls had been sitting in a refrigerator over night. My fiance's vegitable skewers were covered in pepper. Way too much seasoning. The only good food was items drenched in so much sauce you can not taste tuna/beef or what ever is the main ingredient.

Average over-priced karoake joint. The machines are a little tricky to figure out at first, but the song selection is OK. A lot of the songs have random stock videos playing on the TV, which makes for some funny 'cards against humanity' moments.

The food is not great and the beer selection is bad.. but the lychee martinis are kind of fun.

You'll have a fun time if you're with the right group and you like singing... but this particular karoake bar is nothing special.

I've never eaten in the restaurant/bar downstairs, so I can't speak for the experience there. I've gone to their rooms upstairs a few times.
